As someone who suffers from psychological disabili...

As someone who suffers from psychological disabilities and was brought to Fisher-Titus on hold for transport to a psychiatric hospital nearby, I have never been treated more poorly by emergency department staff. I left re-traumatized and upset.

Not only did the doctor lie to my treatment team at the psychiatric hospital about me allegedly trying to hang myself, although nothing was in the room since I was being admitted to psych, but they also called in eight staff members to restrain me when I become manic. They not only laughed at me during my episode, but held me on parts of my body where no one should have held me at (I.E., Neck and pressing roughly on my chest), which resulted in deep tissue bruising on multiple parts of my body. They also forcibly took my phone away from me, leaving me trapped and unable to call for help.

Absolutely sickening how power-hungry and apathetic doctors and nurses of this establishment are. I will NEVER come back here, even if my life depended on it, because clearly I cannot put my trust in anyone here.

You've to go to some pretty bad hospitals to leave a 1 star review. This hospital however, is not one of those. Quick and passionate service and they made sure I knew exactly what was going on with me. I also wanted for nothing.

I appreciate having a medical facility near me especially one that has been professional and caring. I have been gone from this area and have recently returned and love all the updates and the add ins. I also like that it is associated with larger hospitals in the district.

I was offered a position here. I put in my 2 weeks notice at my then current full time job with benifits, Fisher Titus HR was aware. They put me through everything for my new position like physical, 2 step TB tests, CPR class, and yearly flu shot for the new position. I almost ordered my uniforms. I was only waiting for a call with my schedule/start date. But my backround check took more than the 2 weeks so they gave my position to someone else before they even got it back. They never even called me back at all. I called them because I waited so long. I then had no job, and my bills as a single Mother could not get paid. My credit score is now shot also. Poor HR department. No respect or consideration for others.

Went to see the Dr. for chest pains(scheduled not an ER visit). Charged $350 for 1/2 hr initial visit with doc(comes out to about 1.5 Million per year for him if he always charges that much) then $250 for an ekg, which costs about $75 elsewhere. They performed about an hour of tests on me(echo and stress test) then sent me a bill for approximately 2 grand. Hmmm...seems high as I compare to other establishments as I research online and for an hours work on their part. Then Fisher-titus sends me another 2 grand on top for a "facilitation fee". At the end of of all this I ask the Dr. what is causing my chest pains and he says "who knows". I go to see the finance lady to discuss the outrageously high prices and she has the nerve to tell me FTMC is not for profit. Really? Then how bout you not charge 4k/hr for testing. Thanks Doc and thanks FTMC. Will never go back to this establishment.

Amazing experience giving birth to my daughter in 2016. The nurses were attentive and helpful. Dr.Wilbur was awesome. The lactation consultant was helpful and supportive. I wish I would have chosen this for my first baby as well.

I love this hospital system, and the folks that work there. For every appointment I've ever had, all of the medical staff, business staff, and support staff offers a smile and kind, "Hello!"

It's a breath of fresh air to see such positivity in a workplace, even in the times we are facing today. Keep up the great work Fisher-Titus Medical Center! :-)

I went to Fisher Titus for an outpatient mammogram the other morning. I was standing in line for registration. I stood and watched as the registration girl took a patient back for their testing and when she came back she stood and had a 5 minute personal conversation with a guy that happened to be walking in as she was returning. None of the girls seemed to care how long we stood there. Once I was finally registered and taken back, the first thing the lady at imaging services behind the desk said to me was ... 'You're a little late." I told her I had been standing at registration waiting to get registered. She then picked up the phone and called the girl who was doing my mammogram and told her that I had arrived and apparently I had been waiting to get registered. She made it sound like I was lying because I ended up checking in with her 10 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. A mammogram is already awkard enough.... thanks lady! That wasn't necessary!

The worst possible pace to get wound care!!! Especially if you are older. don't take your aging parent here. They are sexist! We are seriously considering a law suit for the terrible misdiagnosis and treatment our Mom received from the docs here. They precipitated her death- we have no doubt- and a very painful one at that, Shame on you. You are reptilian caregivers. Go to Firelands in Sandusky. It's a whole diffrerent world of compassion and competence,

I m not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from Fisher Titus yes at one time many many years ago didn t have the best reputation since the expansion of their hospital their care has went up to a new level. They save my life in 2003 when I was a gun shot victim, they save my life when I got A deep vein thrombosis, they save my life when I got a blood clot in my descending aorta. I ve never had one issue with anyone being rude condescending or dismissive the nursing staff is always been super kind and polite and addressed anything I ever asked of them. Now I know other people certainly may have a different perception of the care they received but myself personally Have never experienced any real negative attitudes from any of their staff. Fisher Titus Medical Center certainly does not deserve one star reviews thank you Fisher Titus for being there in my times of need!

I want to highly commend Fisher-Titus Drs and Staff for the extraordinary care, support and cooperation during 2 recent emergency admissions to the hospital in November and January. Drs Baljari, Salam, Amir, and Patel all worked together to coordinate my care with my family.
Because of the Covid-19 pandemic Red Status no family or friends could be with me while I was seriously ill. It might have been very much more stressful, but because the Drs and the Staff worked together in such a kind, supportive unity that there was no doubt of their commitment to bring me through this extremely challenging time.
This is a clean, forward thinking hospital making real strides as regards patient care and increasing their awareness of their responsibilities to the community they serve.
I am really impressed with how much things have changed there over the years and would not hesitate to recommend this hospital to others in the community.

I just had surgery for carpal tunnel here. The entire staff was wonderful and professional. I've lived in the Norwalk area most of my life and I'm 43 years old now. I've traveled quite a bit and have many experiences with other medical facilities. I recall some negative experiences with FTMC years ago but those days have passed. FTMC is a world-class medical facility. The building is gorgeous, spotless, and well lit. It appears to be well staffed and I always feel like I'm getting 5-star treatment here. Their record keeping is impressive--all my history was at the touch of a button.
Kudos to this small-town hospital for providing such high-quality service.

They used to have a bad local view many years ago, but they have expanded and modernized. Procedures, and even help getting around the maze of hallways has been great so far for me.i have not found anything that I've needed to have done, or other family members, that couldn't be done there.

I recently went to the emergency room on 12/16/2018 while on vacation visiting my family because we've always believed Fisher-Titus was the best hospital in the area. I was shocked when i recieved a bill for $1,600 dollars to bring down a fever (one lab test and generic meds were adminstered). Fisher-Titus works with a a private agency that charged me $900.00 for a ten-minute visit by their doctor in the ER. If I knew they worked with this agency, I never would have gone there. This is unaceptable from a non-profit hospital.

After my c-section the nurses refused to help with my twins saying they were "too busy". The nurses were the meanest and most unprofessional group of women I have ever encountered. I was called names by them and what should have been a beautiful experience, they made a nightmare. I liked my doctor though...just being honest...48 hours and I could not wait to go home. I asked to leave as soon as possible. I was told I wasted my food (which was terrible) by one of the nurses and was scolded for not wanting additional pain medication. Never again.

Being a patient with a extremely rare vascular anomaly generally I get a hard time from doctors not wanting me as a patient. However, Fisher-Titus was a well managed ER and I had Dr. Rickson who spent time helping with the issue and finding me new doctors to work with. I recommend this hospital to anyone looking for real help!

Had to choose one star, they deserve ZERO.

Had to choose one star, they deserve ZERO.

In an attempt to finally find a professional who is capable of actually helping me and not turning me into an over medicated science experiment, my new family physician suggested this establishment...interesting considering it is an hour and a half from me...when en route to my 9 am appt on March 11th, I was stopped by a train sitting at a crossing, not moving, gates down. I called their office, told them my situation, and was told that if I were more than fifteen minutes late I would have to reschedule - no problem, well on my way, may as well show up and do whatever is necessary to get the ball rolling. I arrived at approximately 9:23 am, obviously late and just asking to reschedule. OOPS! It would seem first time visitors. in the event they arrive late, will not be rescheduled or ever seen. I arrived having had an anxiety attack for a majority of my car ride...sent me into a tail spin of desperation...my only goal to find help. I was literally suicidal at this point.

They told me the person I was seeing just lost an hour...translation: You just cost her money...did not lose any, just did not make as much as she could have.

Greed. Pure greed.
Pathetic...

So...here's a question for everyone...

If the RNA sequence the RT-PCR test is looking for, which they state is "COVID 19" is ACTUALLY THE SAME SEQUENCE AS HUMAN CHROMOSOME 8...

What, EXACTLY, does that say about their "pandemic".

How, exactly, does HUMAN CHROMOSOME 8 and COVID 19 have the SAME GENETIC SEQUENCE?

How, EXACTLY, does this occur?

How, EXACTLY, do doctors NOT KNOW?

Or DO THEY?

There IS NO VIRUS.

There IS NO PANDEMIC.

We are being LIED TO.

Wake up.

I had an appointment with Dr. Jeffrey Harwood at Fisher Titus convenient care when my daughter could not be seen by our primary caregiver. Being seen by Dr. Jeffrey Harwood was by far the worst medical experience I have ever had! He had absolutely no interest in hearing my concerns, nor did he explain any solutions to the problem. He blatantly insulted my intelligence, as well as my parenting. I left the appointment disappointed and attempted get a second opinion with the physician's assistant. I was than told by Dr. Harwood that I would not be seeing the physician's assistant, and that he told her not to see or speak with me. He gave me the option of being seen by him again, or leaving the building. He then told me that I was "physician shopping" and that I would "go to whoever I needed to in order to get what I want". My issue is not that Dr. Harwood and I couldn't agree on an appropriate treatment for my daughter, that is why I wanted a second opinion. My issue the way he spoke to me, and the fact that I was denied treatment for my four year old. This is absolutely unacceptable.

I don't care for them anymore. My friend had her baby there and she threw her pillow on top of the biohazard contanor and when I said something to her about how that's gross and she needs to clean it she told me it wasn't her job and I didn't need to worry about it. Idk if the pillow ever got cleaned but I'm not risking that. Then she had an attitude with me the whole time I was there all because i said that was a wrong. Then I went there some time later becauuse I had just had surgery the day before and needed my packing changed and I sat there for 30 mins finally the Dr came in looked at my wounds didn't say one word to me and walked out of the room with my vagina exposed and the curtains opened. I didn't hear anything thing from them again for another 30 mins. Call lights were going off and I heard one nurse say (I'll go in there when I feel like it they can wait). So i got dressed and as i was leaving thr room all I see is the nursing playing on there phones. One sounded like candy crush and the other was subway surfers. So yeah I'm not going back there. They don't care about their patients and just sitting there to get paid and not do anything. I went to firelands that same night. Went in and was only in there for 15 mins bc they knew my condition was serious and needed taken care of asap. Fisher titus has become a joke.

Had knee replacement surgery, all in all the treatment met my needs. Night nurses great and very compassionate. This being my surgery ever, I was very nervous about the process. Second day there, lots of pain and discomfort, the daytime nurse and nurses had no time to check in on me or ask if there was anything I needed. They did only what they had to do in a very matter of fact way. Guess I just expected a little TCL. Not there!

Sept 4 UPDATE

Sept 4 UPDATE

Update:
Cancelled an appointment for my daughter and received a note that I was a no call no show. Incorrect info. Had you not rerouted all your calls to a call center now then maybe you would get correct information. This practice has gone to hell in a hand basket.

Called yesterday to make an appointment for my other daughter and couldnt see her normal provider because he was working the Convenient Care appointments. That was never an issue before. Strongly considering a finding a new provider for my family.

NO WILLARD CONVENIENT CARE
POOR PATIENT SERVICE IN BILLING DEPT

My family are patients at Willard Family Practice. We have no complaints about the care there.

Willard Convenient Care is no longer an urgent care. You have to walk in and get an appointment. Defeats the purpose.

My major complaint is about billing at Fisher Titus in Norwalk.

I had some tests done earlier in the year. I have been billed by FTMC AND several other providers/diagnostic companies.

After I received my invoices from FTMC for the balance that my private pay insurance didnt pay, I filled out the financial assistance portion on the back of the invoice. This was March 8.

April 12 comes and I have not heard anything so I call.

It was at this point that I began my encounter with billing clerk, DAWN FELL.

She informs me that the requested information on the back of the invoices are incorrect and that I need to submit other information.

So, all of the invoiced patients were asked for the incorrect info in the back if the invoice. Nonetheless, I send what DAWN FELL says I need to send. A few weeks later I'm emailed a decision and my remaining balance.

I tell her at this time that I need to set up a payment arrangement. She asks if I can do $40 per month. I told her no because I am paying on other medical bills from the same time of care. I waited a week or so and when I was doing my payments, I emailed her and told her that while I said I couldnt do 40 that i would be sending a payment that day.

She emailed me back almost right away. Denied getting my refusal email (I provided her with a screenshot and she back peddled) and said that she had set my account up for $40 a month. The same 40 I told her I couldn't do. She said she could do 25 a month but that the account needed to be cleared up by next June. Well, even at 25 a month, it wont be cleared up by then.

At this point, I'm beyond frustrated with dealing with DAWN FELL so I asked her to forward my information/communication to her supervisor. She emailed back that she did. I asked the name and contact info. She replied that it was in the previous email.....instead of a direct answer. Yep, it sure was. Right there in the "to" section of the email. (Passive aggressive much?!)

If having my account cleared up by next June was the priority then DAWN FELL would have been doing her job since my initial contact to work on the account in March.

It seems to me that patient service is not the prioroty with FTMC any longer. It's all a numbers game now.

This is an institution built to serve it's self . We have had a lot of ups and downs with this place . We moved here from Cincinnati with a lot more choices and the doctors who I believe graduated higher in their class most likely. When we first looked at Norwalk as a possible home we thought wow a hospital here in town with a lot of difrent doctors offices to chose from. But after a short period of time we realized they all either fell under the Fisher titus umbrella , or got pressured or enticed until they folded . The problem is with that is that they are so unorganized as whole "although supposed be more so being connected " , and good luck getting in to see your doc. In the next month . Lasr but not least is the fact that we have been treated so unperfessionaly by both doctors and staff it blows our mind . At one point we questioned the fact that one of their family Doctors was being just awful towards us . So we got them reviewed by the state after getting no help from Fisher Titus. Fisher Titus response was to send us a letter saying we are never allowed to see a Fisher Titus doctor again. Thus forcing us to go mutch further away to see any family doctor . The unperfessionalism did not stop with that either. Sub par all the way around . Good luck if you go here at all .

Horrible service, horrible staff, waited over 8 hours with a family member here; three in the waiting room, the rest in the back. They seemed to keep forgetting about him and tests, and waited until the last moment to decide to keep him when they could have said so hours ag . If I could give zero stars, I would. Also, the waiting room was crawling with ants. Sterile much, anyone?
