Traveling in Taiwan, came here to find some PC parts. The staff for shops here is very friendly, some even pointed us to other shops for our requirement.

Great place to find electronic odds and ends: external hard drives, accessories for your cellphone, a PC builder's paradise (especially if you're a hardcore gamer), and much more! I found a great deal on a rear view mirror dash cam. It includes a rear camera as well. Take your time to walk around and explore all the stores. Don't settle at the first place you see as there can be better deals around the corner. Some stores are willing to negotiate their prices.

If a tech mall is what you want then a tech mall is what you'll get here, just be sure to shop around for the best deals rather than impulse buying.

When I first went to Guanghua, I thought I was going to be able to get my hands on some pretty sweet deals and get lower prices than in the US and in France.
BOY WAS I WROONG ....
The 400 USD laptop I was interested in (Asus vivobook 403sa) was at absolute cheapest, 575 USD. Same for GPU's. The brand new 1080 (600usd msrp) was 200$ more in Guanghua.

If you're looking to get discounts by going to Guanghua you're looking in the wrong place. In Shanghai there is a similar place called BaBaiBan where everything is much cheaper, so maybe ordering from Mainland could be interesting if you figure it out.
