Had a great time there.drinks are very expensive. We had great service from the staff when we had a problem with our seats who sorted quickly.
Not much choice on food .
Seen some excellent events here, but if you have a fear of heights or not steady on your feet I would suggest not to sit in tier 300, especially if you actually want to see the performers in any detail. From block 321 artists look like Lilliputians.
VERY GOOD VENUE WITH LOTS OF FACILITIES only problem is food and drink is expensive with low quality
I have been here four times now and sat in different areas. I have had surgery on my knees and twice the seats I have had have been too squashed for my legs. I asked a member of staff if there was anything that could be done and both times they excelled in their customer service. They moved me to a seating area where I could stretch my legs. I can not fault them whatsoever.
I do find it strange that some of the seats were ok and some not, but it won't stop me going there knowing that they can help me if needed.
Great venue for live acts and well organised. Enjoyed seeing Mumford and Sons Delta tour here.
Venue good let down by very poor sound system could not hear a word they were singing but could hear the music
We saw Snow Patrol here and they were fantastic, the arena is big with loads of toilets, bars etc, very easy to navigate and handles a 10k+ crowd with ease, great arena.
The only gripe is the cost of drinks.
A venue where you were made welcome, watched Alice Cooper and everyone was great from walking in to leaving
Went to see Brian Adams a good night the down side stuck on top floor of Merrion car park for an hour queuing to get get get out
Great facility's, the staff are fab and very helpful. Loads of parking, shops, food places including McDonalds all in the same area. Please book for Parking in advance, it is expensive but worth it in the end. Also if you have parked up to watch a concert, be patient on leaving the car park, grab a drink before going for you car.
Bill Bailey was excellent and the venue is well set out
A new arena, situated in the centre of Leeds. Unlike other such venues this is arranged more like a "D" than an "O", and as a result all of the seats face more or less straight on to the stage - like an oversized theatre. There are three tiers of seating but it should be noted that unless you're on the first tier or the lowest few rows of the second you'll be looking down at the stage and feel as though you're very high up. I was on row O of the second tier and was higher than the lighting rig. Sound is OK, not great. Plenty of bars inside the building. Staff are helpful but some do seem rather abrupt. All in all its not a bad venue for a gig. I'd go again if an act I liked was playing there and nowhere closer to home.
We went to see Pearl Jam recently and it's the first time I've been to the venue. Were were in the 3rd tier and the view was still great. Sound wasn't bad at all. I always wear musicians earplugs and would recommend anyone does the same at any gig. It was nice being at an arena gig were the venue was created purely for music and not for sport as well. Drink/food prices are on the expensive side as always in places like this. A fantastic gig at a very good arena.
Every visit is a fab experience. Parking is a nightmare at the end if an event as it can take ages to get out if the city. But the venue is ace.
Amazing place for concerts you will have an amazing time.
Well organised, good access in and out and not a bad seat in the house
View shown Is 106 u10
The venue is good. Access good. Seating good. Staff good. The only issue we had last night was the sound system . We were at the Motown night. Sound system was disgusting and let the evening down. Many people walked out. I hope it was just one off for the arena.
Leeds as neaded this for years we been a alot now quality venue and gets some good acts 10/10
Great venue that Leeds had been missing! My first visit was to see Chris Rock, great facilities, staff helpful and even the furthest seats from the stage weren't so far that you needed a telescope!
Great venue, brilliant acoustics and excellent organisation by the staff xx
Bit of a crazy looking place, but the sound inside is amazing.
Been to the First Direct Arena in Leeds twice now and both times I went to see a concert. Last March I seen Mariah Carey which was amazing! She put on a great show. The second time I went there was on March 14th went to see The Weeknd and it's been my favourite show I've been to so far! I'll going there to see Little Mix on October 14th which will be great event.
An amazing venue in the heart of Leeds. Great views from every seat.
Great atmosphere from wherever you sit and the sound is fantastic!
Only been to count votes for election but the food and drink counter was open
Very well set up, the security was of the highest standard so you felt very safe
Steps in main seating area are too steep for people who have difficulty with walking.there is a feeling that you may fall forward. A hand rail down the centre of the steps would be a great help.
It's easy to get a drink and enter/exit. But for an arena it's just too unpolished and concrete. Acoustics are okay
A great venue for concert and events.
Top tip is to arrive in plenty of time due to the extra security checks since the Manchester incident.
The 'Stick & Twist (W.Spoons) is the nearest pub for a pre-drinks, but it gets too busy. Try a little further a field... plenty of quick bites nearby too !
Been to a few things here now, brilliant just what Leeds needed. Definitely worth a visit.
Nice modern arena, seats aren't too cramped compared to many too
Brilliant venue went to see Alice Cooper he was amazing the whole experience was amazing great sound!!!!
Easy to get to, well run, clean, great seats but expensive drinks
We had the meal before the concert in the black and white lounge.food was fantastic staff brilliant.would definitely book again.amazing night with Jane mcdonald
Great arena. Very good stage. Lots of bars and toilets
Great venue and even better as a first direct customer (queue jump)
Brilliant venue. Getting bigger & better acts every year. Reasonably priced beer (for a city centre anyway). Worth a visit.
Reasonable range of stores though major retailers tend to be clearance stores
Easy to get in and out of, very well organised when we went to see Disney on ice.
Unfortunately only half marks for this arena. Nicely presented and helpfull staff but they didn't control flash photography, a steward was walking up and down the steps throughout the performance.
The sound didn't travel as well as other arenas which was a disappointment because you didn't get the same atmosphere as others.
Great venue, convenient for Leeds centre and lots of parking close by and cheaper on Arena nights
Great venue, no restricted views. Plenty of toilets! Only downside is the cost of the refreshments and not being allowed to take your own in. I totally agree with not allowing alcohol in, but surely a packet of sandwiches doesn't hurt! They do confiscate...
Was amazing concert and great accessibility for disabled going into the venue, took over an hour to get lift to take us to the exit. Staff not got a clue when asked about where exit was where there were no steps.
Great venue with good views. But legroom for a six-footer is not great. Good facilities and stewarding.
its a fab arena but as with all venues like this every thing is overpriced!!
Went to see George Ezra (seats weren't great but he was fab)
An excellent venue. We were at the back of block 106 and had a superb view.
The First Direkt Arena is already a highlight from the outside. Another inside the Kylie Minogue Show. Class acoustics. There are only two negative points, at the entrance should either more checkpoints ago or the employees work faster, it all took too long. When the show is running no more drinks should be sold, it bothers considerably if people get up in between on a regular basis. But that's typical for GB. Today at 4.12. I was back, "War of the Worlds" 40 years Anyversay tour. Absolute top class what was offered.
Definitely can't complain. The best arena of this size I've been to.
Great for bands and acts due to the shape, good view anywhere. For standing at gigs, it feels close anywhere you are.
Shame it's not really a good shape for sports like ice hockey, but the benefit of that is the great shape for stage performances.
It was a great night. The venue is great.
Only negative is that the seats are not comfortable enough for the price paid.
Come on Leeds Arena invest is some decent seating for us the paying public.
Very nice arena but food and beer prices are ridiculous av your food and drink in wetherspoons before you go in
Great place fore tours . The little mix one there was impeccable
