first direct arena Review

As ever very polite and efficient security staff, excellet staff within and a great night listening to Professor Brian Cox.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC VENUE! EXTREMELY WELL ORGANISED. PLENTY OF STAFF SO WAS REALLY EASY TO GET FOOD AND DRINK WHICH IS USUALLY A NIGHTMARE AT VENUES LIKE THIS. STAFF WERE AWESOME, SO PLEASANT, FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL - A PROPER CREDIT TO FIRST DIRECT. SOUND WAS AMAZING. SEATING PERFECT. ROD WAS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC AS ALWAYS NEVER FAILS TO DELIVER. PERFECT NIGHT IN EVERY WAY. MASSIVE THANKS TO FIRST DIRECT!!!!!

Bad....yet another place qhere you queue up to have your bag checked and get abused by the security guards.

Had an amazing evening at one of the concerts, lose that last star because you are kept hanging around for too long between doors opening and start of show, it makes for a very long evening if you have had to travel quite along way to reach the venue, lack of carparking is also a let down
But the staff were amazing on the night we attended (roy orbison/buddy holly) all extremely helpful and friendly and I felt the smiles were genuine, which as a retail worker, (who knows how difficult some customers can be) made the event that little bit more special

Fantastic arena! Brilliant sound. Close to all amenities. Would advise booking for food in the local area if you're attending a concert etc as it gets busy!

Great place although I don't think i want to be sat right near the back again. The stairs are extremely steep up there!

Friendly staff, very well organised getting in and out and a great venue.

Had the pleasure off been in one off the Boxes for a gig. The staff member who served us was lovewand really looked after us. Grear view if you don't mind not been right in the thick off the gig

Nice venue and an excellent gig. Although be careful parking across the road as we were stuck with traffic for over an hour

Been here many times now, great venue. Book Premier Inn across the road immediately you get tickets and get room for 29 quid.

Europe's strongest man was possibly the best venue I've been too it was handled and planned so well

Fantastic arena, easy to navigate with a great view all around. Parking is quite good and atmosphere is incredibly nice.

My mother bought horrible seat tickets that trigger a massive panic attack. However the staff were absolutely on point and helped me thoroughly enjoy my experience there. Big shout out to the two paramedics that helped me and big shout out to Neil (security). Russel Howard was just hilarious as always

Fab show, good security and organization BUT man you need better quality seating for sit down shows my butt was killing by the time we left

Decent for an arena, the amphitheatre shape is an advantage. Sounds isn't the best if you're off to the side. Rip off drink prices, but that's standard everywhere like this!

Arena is still there and still largely dependant on sound engineers this time set up was very good.
To start with to refuse to search and accept little girls backpack and to turn customers away not even 5 minutes after door opening is horrendous. Considering that we were only customers within quarter of a mile.
For a venue this size to run out of food in 30 minutes is just bad planning.

Hi, I went to see Mrs Brown. It was a great few hours, the staff are very good at there jobs. It didn't take long to get in to say they have to scan everyone now. Once in they direct you to your place and it's all done very quickly. It's lovely inside as its all New. Yes it's expensive for food,drinks, gifts but then aren't they all. I had a nice time there and would and have recommended going. Hope you do too :)

Great but couldn't take bags in so was annoying to collect at the end

Brilliant stadium to see a show in, lsst night Mr. MB from Canada. He sounded fab, with several angled massive screens projecting him. There is good cushooned seats with above average leg room. What to be aware of, it's like an oven in there, getting very warm as the night goes on. Even MB mentioned it lol. There are several bars selling food and drink and a couple of toilet blocks, so expect to que. Security was above average with metal detectors and bag searches. Getting out at the end of a show can be a bit of pandamodium. Just head to the middle and down the wide stairs, the sides with toilets ate emergency ecots and just 2 people wide.

Great place to go to nice and easy access staff were amazing went to see Disney on ice loved it would visit again without doubt

Great venue. Sat as far away from the stage as you can but still good sound and with the aid of the screens, decent viewing

Really nice in there, seats are comfy, but the top tier cheap ones aren't the best. (As you would expevt tbh) Don't park in the carpark down the road next to spoons, you'll be waiting an hour to get out, train and walk up.

Great place tip see acts. Easy access and exit. Bars and food outlets. Escalators to the upper floors - we needed them. Good venue

The best large scale venue we've visited. Excellent view and acoustics. The usual very average catering.

Went to see Jeff Lynne's ELO just brilliant been besotted with him since I was a girl

We went here to see the Eagles it's a really good stadium with good views and great sound, the entry and exits were painless so well done to all.

Staff excellent security efficient but very curtious. Well done to them all

Amazing sound & atmosphere. Went to see WWW live on 9th November 2014. Bought program and t-shirt. This arena possibly made the greatest night of my life.

The drinks are expensive, for a newish venue I don't think enough though went into legroom and the graphics for the kind of show/production were poor, I expected better. Local parking took a long time to clear.
