The ideal guest here is someone who missed out on all four years of spring break and is looking to party. It appeared as though ALL facility improvement money has gone to the street signage and lobby and nothing to the rooms. They didn't have any sort of room cleaning because "Covid", yet they also had urinals overflowing in the main bathroom and crammed as many guests as they could around the tiny pools without restocking the clean pool towels past 11am. Horribly managed property designed to maximize profits without regard to the impact to the guests. Would never stay at a Scott property again...

As much as we love The Strawberry Inn, we're travel junkies at heart and LOVE visiting other boutique hotels and learning all we can. That s why we jumped at the opportunity to have a little stay-cation at The Scott Resort & Spa. The Scott is unique in that while it is part of a group of hotels (Classic Group and Hotels), each hotel has a completely unique design, and is managed directly by Classic Group to give each guest a beautiful botique experience! We loved our stay- highly recommend!

I would not recommend nor return to the resort.
The good- comfortable beds, pretty landscaping, good food. Close to old town. Best for young couples and families.
The bad-customer service- 2 hour wait for our room, not responsive to turn down music in fitness room, locked out of our room on check out day even though we confirmed a late checkout. Pool too crowded on the weekend. No chairs available. Very noisy. Not good for relaxation and older couples. Understaffed.

I rarely write reviews but my stay at The Scott was so good. The property itself is gorgeous and the staff were so friendly and accommodating without being bothersome. The hotel lobby smells so good... the scent is diffused throughout the main building. The sheets smell really nice also. Ate/ drank at both the bar & pool, the food and drinks are not insanely pricey.

This place was a perfect spot for a romantic couples getaway for the weekend. They have a beautiful lounging area, beautiful restaurant, and the cutest bar! The food and drinks were fantastic and the pool is spectacular! The rooms are nice and clean which is always a plus but when we visited (COVID) housekeeping did not come to the room to empty trash, bring towels, etc which was a bummer, but understandable.

Lobby and guest areas are wonderful. Very pretty gardens throughout and plenty on intimate seating area throughout. Beds were comfortable and room were quite. Cleaning could be better, along this the sandpaper of toilet paper

Great atmosphere, extreme ease coming and going, fantastic pool side service and best of all, comfortable Cuban-styled environment that invites you to total relaxation the moment you step inside.

The Scott is absolutely beautiful!!! The ambiance is resort chic and I enjoyed attending our conference here. I didn't stay at The Scott but I spent two days enjoying the beautiful grounds, food and drinks from The Canal Club, and all the extremely helpful staff who assisted our group during the 3 day conference. It's such a romantic atmosphere I called my hubby and told them we'd be coming back! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I didn't stay at the resort but I'm sure they will get that extra star when my husband and I return!

Super disappointed to be writing this review as I have been wanting to stay at the Scott for years. This is also the first goodie review I have ever written, but given the marketing online I feel it important to review in order to help
people before they book! Service has been great and the lobby area so beautiful, but unfortunately that s where the positives end. Before you book beware! The pool is completely filled with towels saving seats at 6:30 each morning of our stay. Because the pool area is smaller, people get up early to save seats. So, you are either forced to do the same or you will not have a spot at the pool. Everyone complained and the resort had someone removing towels and people eventually coming to what they thought was their saved seat only to find someone else there. Lots of altercations and yelling with other guests as a result. Not the relaxing vibe you want during your vacation. We asked to see the manager and he apparently told his staff he was too busy to talk to us. Never heard of that before. Also, the cleaning in the hallways and common areas leaves much to be desired. No vacuuming seen or heard in our hallway during the entire 5 nights of our stay. Good online marketing but unfortunately in person does not live up to it at all. Would stay somewhere else next time.

This is one of those cute and romantic place for you to go with your partner or girlfriends. They have an adorable bar the canal club (which i reviewed separately as well).

The place makes me comfortable and just relaxing... definitely check this place our, or at least enjoy their bar!
