Super disappointed to be writing this review as I have been wanting to stay at the Scott for years. This is also the first goodie review I have ever written, but given the marketing online I feel it important to review in order to help
people before they book! Service has been great and the lobby area so beautiful, but unfortunately that s where the positives end. Before you book beware! The pool is completely filled with towels saving seats at 6:30 each morning of our stay. Because the pool area is smaller, people get up early to save seats. So, you are either forced to do the same or you will not have a spot at the pool. Everyone complained and the resort had someone removing towels and people eventually coming to what they thought was their saved seat only to find someone else there. Lots of altercations and yelling with other guests as a result. Not the relaxing vibe you want during your vacation. We asked to see the manager and he apparently told his staff he was too busy to talk to us. Never heard of that before. Also, the cleaning in the hallways and common areas leaves much to be desired. No vacuuming seen or heard in our hallway during the entire 5 nights of our stay. Good online marketing but unfortunately in person does not live up to it at all. Would stay somewhere else next time.
