My husband and I went to see Mama Mia! We loved everything about it. The venue, the food, the hospitality and service, the shopping and the show all get a 5 plus star rating. What a fantastic evening. God Bless & Thank you Klopcic Family

My wife come every year on Feb. 14 Valentines day ...

My wife come every year on Feb. 14 Valentines day and our Anniversary and this year was our 67th year. We purchased your nice anniversary package and saw "Sat. Night Fever. the show was better than we expected and I have always loved Bee Gee's music but my wife had never heard of them and didn't really want to go to a rock music show but at the last minute I just ordered our tickets and told her we were going. Well I must tell you she was very pleasantly surprised by the shows songs and dance and overall she was very happy she went and the dinning experience was very nice. I didn't like that we had a male waiter as he was like a robot and sounded off our choices so fast I never understood what he said and said no to things I didn't intend to. Last year we had a waitress named Kasey and She was a lot of fun to kid with and being older now I and do and say things I couldn't when I was younger. When I learned her name was Kasey I said "I'd like to sing a song for you which she replied "you want to sing a song for me" so I did and she had so much fun and I more so. She was so shocked when I sang a song about Casey. Problem was I didn't realize I didn't I was supposed to leave a tip so next time we came I asked about her and she was working in the upper level so I went to find her and she was in the kitchen and when she came out I asked if she remembered me and she didn't of course so I sang the song again and she laughed recalled and I apologized for not leaving a tip last time and gave her a 20 and she was so surprised. I requested her this time but she didn't work there anymore. Anyway we enjoyed our special anniversary treat but my wife noticed a family with two teenage girls and a younger one about 8 yrs old and she said to me that little girl sure looks grumpy and unhappy and I had noticed this too. In my little red bag there was some cupcakes so I took them over to their table and said to the parents I'd like to give these special cupcakes to for these young girls to share with each other as I don't care for cupcakes (just fibbing) and the dad said "well were just kids too" like he wanted some and they all enjoyed the surprise. I wasn't aware there would not be a buffet diner this night but it was okay. We met this couple with the kids when the show was over looking for our car and the wife thanked me for the cupcakes and since we stood up in the theater when they called our names she knew who we were. Please tell the show cast they were very professional and we just loved the overall shown so much and all the girls were so lovely and gorgeous and sang so wonderfully and their sexy dresses that we will be back next year at our anniversary and we'll also be there for "Guy's and Dolls" and our favorite "Joseph and the Coat of Many Colors" which we've so many times even in Chicago with Donny Osman. Hope someday you will do "Fiddler on Roof", another favorite of ours. Thank you for such a perfect special night for my lovely wife and I

We've been coming to Fireside Dinner Theater for many years and often share this time with family and for special occasions. We always stick with the featured menu - it never disappoints. No need to even consider other options. Their choices of musicals must be spot on for a large range of people because I'm always I interested in at least 3 performance offerings per season. And finally, the shows are always wonderful.
Food, great! Performances, great! Leisure time fun and family bonding time, great. Win, Win, Win!

Is this for the theatre group or the restaurant or the gift shop? Doesn't matter, everything here is awesome. Lots of old folks... I don't intend to get to that point, but they sure loved the buffet. The stage here is super neat. No spoilers. If you see a play you're even remotely interested in being performed here, don't hesitate. Just go.

We are season ticket holders and usually go to at least three shows a year. The shows are simply amazing and there is so much talent. We keep going back for that reason. Unfortunately we have had both amazing and mediocre meals. The service has also been a hit or a miss. Regardless we will keep coming back for the amazing talent!

We are from Eastern Iowa and have been to The Fireside 5 or 6 times in the past 8 years or so. We have NEVER gone away disappointed with ANY part of our experience.

We have been to 3 other dinner theaters that use the traditional method of "dinner and show" from the dining tables. We much prefer Fireside's method of a separate dining area allowing for traditional theater seating in the auditorium. With the stage area in the center, surrounded by the seating area, you would be hard put to find a bad seat in the entire house. Best of all, there is no having to find just the right way to position your chair to watch the show, without having your legs cramped or having to constantly peer around someones head causing a crick in your neck and you are NOT stuck sitting in a straight back chair for the entire dinner and show.

The food is the best of ANY other dinner theater we have been to. We have done the buffet twice and even it was on par with individual servings from a fine restaurant. We just went to to see "Scrooge, The Musical" on Saturday evening. Every one of the 5 courses were excellent. We were not rushed in any way to finish. After dining a person can go to the bar area to relax or stroll through the nice gift shops prior to the show.

The quality of the entertainment is also the best from our perspective and experience with the other dinner theaters we have been to. They seem to spare no expense with costumes and affects for the show. The individual actors are VERY good!

Overall, we love the Fireside and we will be back. Fort Atkinson is a nice medium size town that is easy to get around in. This makes for a nice two or three day weekend trip for us any time of the year.

The dinner is outstanding, but the shows are even better. Professional theater up close and personal. If you are in a front row (and there are four of them because it is theater in the round) you are literally inches from the action.

The food is excellent! If you are interested in shopping there are several little shops to wander through. People lined up to purchase fresh baked breads and other treats. The show is performed in the round with live music. Our group attended "That's What I Call Rock and Roll." It features music and artists from the 50's ti the 80's. Highly recommend a "must see show" ti everyone that enjoys music!

Great dinner theatre. The food was delicious and the show (My Fair Lady) was wonderful. The gift shops have tons of unique gifts, clothes, jewelry etc. The only real frustration was leaving the theatre venue. It would help to have ushers. It seems like most people try to squeeze out the same exit.

The staff is super nice and the gift shops delightful. The food is very good and the shows are always top notch. This show reminded me of growing up in my home town in the 1960's. The only difference was the play was set in a Scandinavian community and my community was German.

Dinner was okay. Was not expecting to be nickel-and-dimed on everything. As much as I paid for those tickets dinner should have been included with everything including drinks. No those were extra. The play was awesome the actors we're awesome. Definitely worth going to see that.

It is always a joy to watch extremely talented and experienced sinvers/actors brilliantly perform on the small center stage. The food and service are very good, and the bakery bread is a great to buy for home. The quaint shops are delightful to browse through before the performance. Everyone enjoys this theatrical outing and comes back again and again.

It is hard to wire a review for this theater as dinner menus change with the performance. The menu is inspired in some way from the show and is usually at least four courses (appetizer, salad, main course, and dessert).
