Let's start with the appetizer. The gator bites were so delicious just a small portion. The taste of the NOLA was okay wasn't a fan of their red beans and rice. But that jambalaya and gumbo was good. And lastly the bead pudding with bourbon sauce was delicious. It's a bit pricey for a little amount of food you receive.

Very cute Cajun-style restaurant! My boyfriend and I were looking for something tasty on our way home from paddle boarding at Blue Springs, and we certainly found it. We started off with the catfish bites and Buffalo fried oysters. I m not big on catfish, but the one bite I did try was perfectly fried and breaded, and my oysters were super saucy and delicious. For entrees, my boyfriend got the Buffalo fried chicken sandwich special, and I got the two for $10 tacos: one blackened shrimp, and one voodoo. Both of us were super impressed with what we had, and our waitress Carrie was very sweet and took excellent care of us. Even though she had the whole restaurant to care for, she offered great recommendations, answered our questions, and even got me a sample of the Purple Haze beer to try before committing to a whole glass (served in a frosty cup, the best!). I wish we lived closer, but next time we go to Blue Springs, we ll definitely be back!

Rock solid every visit, Service is always fantastic. Everything I have eaten has been great. But I go back to the Shrimp and Grits over and over. The grits are delicious and a enjoyable leftover for breakfast the nest day. The Barbecue Shrimp is also a go to. I could take hope a quart of the sauce. I have used the leftover sauce as a wing sauce.

My food was so good that I didn't want to give up one single bite to trade with my husband to taste his.
The alligator bites were perfect, light and crispy, my etouffee was spectacular, and my husband couldn't stop raving that if this is what jambalaya is supposed to taste like, he's been having sad attempts at it for the last ten years. Dessert was bread pudding that was swimming in sauce and covered in rum-drunk raisins. Our server was right; it tasted like a big cinnamon roll.
We are definitely coming back.

I ordered the shrimp and Moo shu (this is the pronunciation but not how it s spelled on the menu) egg rolls. The egg rolls were delicious. However, I was served 2 egg rolls cut in half. There may have been one shrimp cut up for both egg More

Went in after hearing about it for over a year.

Went in after hearing about it for over a year.
We were ignored and treated rudely by a server (who I am glad to say was not our server). Once we had our server things went very well and she was very good.
We ordered our food everything was cooked to perfection tasted wonderful came out and a fairly timely manner.
Unfortunately, a few hours later or even less are stomachs started turning and getting quite upset The next day for our entire family has not been a joy at all needless to say we all got something after eating there, which is a shame, because it tasted awesome.
As I said the food tasted amazing cooked to what seemed to be perfection but it was very very pricey for three adults and two children with no alcoholic beverages except for two bottles of yuengling beer it was over $200.

So glad I stopped in for lunch. The gumbo was absolutely perfect. Taste, texture, portion size. Exactly what I wanted. Service from Sam was delightful. She talked me into getting the bourbon bread pudding, which was a great decision. Wasn t able to finish it but was absolutely delicious and look forward to having some later. 10/10. Will be back. Even offered me a water to go. A+
