My finoptim M500 gives me complete satisfaction. At the beginning there was a backflow of smoke for which I asked the company: they brought me an answer and an effective solution quickly. The after-sales service is therefore at the top and I can now take full advantage of my open fireplace.
I didn't want a custom tape, I did some research and came across Finoptim. Delivery possible in Belgium, so I went for the M500 model. Good contacts with the firm who wanted to make sure that all the dimensions matched. Material received and quickly put in place. The yield is impressive! Before, you had to stand in front of the hearth to obtain a minimum of heat. Now this heat fills the 64 m2 room! The wood burns to the end, leaving a fine ash. I don't have the slightest regret. I am more than satisfied with my choice and I have no hesitation in recommending Finoptim.

We have just used for the first time the open insert that we ordered and received in June. It is a total success. Soft heat, good draft, almost total combustion of wood and little ash, and especially not the slightest smoke in the house while our chimney was backing up and we had stopped using it for this reason. Great system! Well done!
I chose the open insert from finoptim, because living in a 1930's house we regularly had chimney backflow problems. It's great, since no more smoke in the room, and the performance is much more efficient.

Purchase of an open insert at home to replace a Tifon type heat recovery unit (yes, I like open fireplaces). Without any regrets: it heats the room better and without noise with more beautiful flames and less smoke. I hope it will last a long time.
