Very good pizza. Don't think i can eat an American pizza ever again.

I'm sorry to give only 2 stars because the location is beautiful and in the square but the food is really commercial (compared to a few years ago) ... too bad

This was one of the best pizza i had while in Europe!! Thank you!! I even got the pizza box framed, it adorns my wall now (a great souvenir):)

Worst Langsagne ever & the steak unworthy of Florentine cuisine.

Truly delicious pastry Many mignons, pastries for breakfast and ice cream. Coffee 1 euro at the counter. Next to the basilica of Santa Croce. Recommended as a coffee break!

We went there because it is now famous and they have recommended it to us all ... And we were not disappointed: the beauty of the place, the goodness of the pizza (taken from "Vulcano" calzone) and the fast and friendly service really struck us. I didn't like it: bathroom not clean and the price of average beer (a common blonde ...) at 6 is too expensive. Anyway: promoted and recommended, thanks.

Wonderful spot right next to Santa Croce Basilica. Come on a Sunday morning to enjoy a wide variety of pastries and then you can sit on the benches right in Santa Croce square. Very cheap and very good! Their pistachio brioche is really good. They offer a few gluten free options as well and they have some milk substitutes for you coffee.

I really liked this establishment, the customer service is very nice and the terrace, which is cool in the summer due to the sprayed water they put out, we ordered pizzas that were delicious, they brought the 5 pizzas in less than 10 minutes. And the price is very affordable for the quality of them.
Overall an excellent place to eat well in every way, I recommend it.

I wouldn't call it a bar. But for breakfast it's fantastic.

You think it is a tourist place but in reality the quality is very high, the cuisine is good, and absolutely not to be missed is the pastry which is Superb, with a capital S! Also suitable for dinners with friends or work groups, it has several reserved rooms.

5 for two espresso. Ripoff... service was atrocious as well...

- Good food even if I came with a fixed menu, it should be judged with a la carte food, however good, a note of merit to the desserts.

After spending capital near Ponte Vecchio and eating bad pastries and the day before, this restaurant, coffee shop, pastry shop, all in one, is fantastic. We had breakfast, unfortunately only once, but it was enough to know the quality! Adequate prices, an elegant and refined location and, what's more, perfect cappuccino and sublime brioche! High pastry. To be redone every day to try all the possibilities that this place offers and that without doubt would satisfy the palate. Unfortunately they only stop at 5 stars. Otherwise I would have given more stars. I'm really excited about this place. Congratulations!

Very good restore. Best place for lunch in Florence. The suppers were very delicious. Very kind service. The waiters speak very good English. The price was very reasonable.

Yes it was a rainy day. Yes it was a cold day. And Yes, we had seen more museums and churches than needed. Then, with only 45mins to lunch, this place ...and the most amazing soup ever! And Lam chops, Yes, deliciosas!

A tourist place ? No, it is a heaven for the tired and hungry tourist after a day in Florence walking and walking in the rain and doing incredible lines outside the museums.
I will be back to Florence for only two things: to visit Dante's house and have a soup.
And that day finisterre did not have minestrone, my favorite italiano soup! I can't wait to go back.

Great stand up breakfast spot in Florence! Lots of tasty pastries and coffee/tea served quickly. Fairly crowded at the breakfast rush.

When you enter, go past the bar and pay for your order, then bring the receipt to the bar and tell the bartender what you ordered.

2 brioches, 1 cappuccino, and 1 cup of tea cost 5. 10 minimum for credit cards, so bring cash or order accordingly!

Had to ask for condiments and only olive oil came .
Miss sold a litre of house white , a 750 bottle came, tasty wine though .
Rare steak tough and chewy on the outside and rare but cold on the inside . And covered in chunks of rocksalt which I use on the path in winter at home . I am no chef but I have had rare steak which is hot so I know it can be done .
Menus chucked on table without a word to choose dessert so no thanks . We will have pudding elsewhere .
All in all a disappointment after such good reviews on here ??

We booked here for the new year's eve dinner. Really beautiful restaurant divided into rooms corresponding to different countries and furnished according to the customs and traditions of that country.
They made us sit in the Morocco room, a magical atmosphere, well furnished and with attention to detail.
Dinner menu consisting of 6 courses: 2 appetizers, 2 first courses, a second course and a dessert.
On average .. the best were the meat dishes and the dessert.
Excellent wine list.

The food was excellent, I had the pasta dish with beef and my wife had the ravioli with mushrooms. Both looked and tasted fantastic... I witnessed many people ordering the pizza so my second visit will be tomorrow where I will order mine...

What an astonishing Mediterranean restaurant where different styles of cuisine come together: Greek, Italian, Lebanese, Tunisian ... and it's pretty good, even very good! In addition, do not believe that there is only one terrace (very pleasant since it overlooks the forecourt of the Santa Croce basilica) because a maze of rooms, each more beautiful than the other, are revealed in the inside the building when you get lost looking for toilets .

BEWARE OF THE FISH. It is not clear why such a place needs to serve poor quality fish. Trapanese is one of their dishes with couscous and octopus prawn shrimp fillet, mussels and clams. Everything in large quantities and acid, old and without salt. All this on Saturday evening, a day known to be full so we think of a supply of fresh fish the day before. Obviously not. The kitchen reports that an hour earlier the fish was swimming in the sea; yes of the frozen counter of the discount store, I say. Ours is a difference in taste, says the head nurse. No discount at the checkout. I'm having tea for stomach pain. They don't charge me, at least that. Take the pizza or desserts that are definitely better.

I was touring Italy for a few days and my group and I happened to choose Finisterrae as our free time lunch meal. Once you walk in, a blast of cold air hits you which we immediately liked because it was very hot in Florence at the time and immediately a woman leads us to a table in the back outside where it felt nice and looked nice. I was a little skeptical about the menu because I m a very picky eater but I decided to try the pan fried chicken skillet with lemon and baby carrots . It was amazing. What was also amazing was that our waiter was doing his hardest to juggle us, 6 people by the way, other tables and food. He was quick and nice and overall great. The food is really great.

In the Florentine scene, full of poor quality places "for meals" to passing tourists, this is a rare pearl.

From the pastry shop, to the riatorante, to the pizzeria, turro is of quality and far above average, and the prices are more than fair!

Year 2019, city of Florence where the first banks have sprung up almost a millennium earlier, guaranteeing prosperity and beauty, Piazza Santa Croce, a good place invaded by tourists from all over the world. They ask me if for figures under 10 euros (it's a pastry shop, so a very normal transaction) I can avoid paying by debit card. I know if it was more shame or a sense of ridicule.

Excellent cappuccino and a nice terrace well placed for a morning coffee ...

This was a pre-paid lunch stop for our tour group, and we had a delightful lunch on their rear patio terrace. The food was quite good and the service was OK, although it was a bit slow. But that's somewhat understandable, given that the restaurant was PACKED with multiple tour groups, seemingly one in each of the rooms of the large restaurant. And the tiny restrooms were overwhelmed by the number of people, so there was usually a wait for the restroom. I still thought it was a pretty nice place, thanks to our fortune (or maybe our tour company) for placing us on the quiet and secluded back patio. But I don't think I would have wanted to be an independent couple or group trying to eat there inside that day, so if you choose Finisterrae make sure you can get a table outside on the Piazza Santa Croce or plan your timing to avoid large tour groups.

Definitely not the best pizza. the dough was not sufficiently cooked, I definitely do not recommend it. The location is the only positive.

Coffee and sweet pieces are delicious, both for breakfast and for dessert. One of the bartenders, however, should realize that the mask does not protect against the hum and his complaints about customers ...

They treated us fatally, they wanted to charge us double for sitting at a table inside the premises. 6 euros the gintonic standing and 12 sitting. I do not advise this site for the lack of education of some waiters and for scammers.

Bad service. A beautiful place and quality products, pity the service. At the counter they talk to each other as if the customer did not exist, you could easily leave without paying, not a good morning or a thank you.
I will never go back to it.

Gelato should be pliable - this was hard until it warmed up a bit. However, the service in there boosts this rating from 1 to 3 stars: there was mix up with the payment and they were very nice about it. Not worth it for the crappy ice cream though.

It is without a doubt the best cafeteria in this region. A huge variety of croissants are served in the morning (I recommend the pistachio cream). With just two euros, you eat a huge croissant and have your coffee. Around 10 am, they change the window, put on a variety of cloths, among other things. The owner and the staff do everything to make you feel good there. Worth it!

Hello I have been eating at this wonderful local rich assortment of all kinds of food but the priority I give to the kitchen excellent appetizers and exceptional paccheri recommend it with flying friends to go there soon cordial greetings and a hug to staff

A fantastic place, we ate very well, a fantastic whole wheat pizza, green lasagna with wild boar and mushrooms, an excellent saffron risotto with taleggio cheese and pears ....... the staff is really kind ....... in short I recommend it 100%

Very nice place, I stopped for a coffee, and despite the immense amount of work the two girls at the bar were very fast and very kind without losing the very good coffee smile!

Fantastically good pastries and a great variety. They also have amazing cappuccino and macchiato along with excellent and friendly service and very reasonable prices. With the fabulous location right next to my favorite church in Florence Santa Croce, this is my place in Florence and it should be yours.

We ate here a few times whilst in Florence as it was close to our apartment. Delicious food! woild reccommend the dessert selection

Tourist they do not need customers we waited several minutes the waiters passed by us without seeing us we inquired we were sent to the other end of the restaurant and still nobody to take care of us, we we left as we came !!

In my opinion one of the best pastry shops in the historic center of Florence. Good coffee, wonderful pastries and desserts, a nice modern environment and very friendly staff. The production of sweets is made in the room. I am also a restaurant but I have never eaten there.

Wish I could comment on the quality of the food, but I left my cappuccino and tiramisu on the counter after I paid do to the poor service. Staff appeared to be inconvenienced by my patronage.

Typical place for tourists. The food is correct. No frights The prices are normal. It is noteworthy that in the account there was no hidden cost, those that are so common in Italy (bread, services, etc). Marseille, Malaga, Florence is a very pleasant, gorilla restaurant with different rooms.

Extremely nice waiters, you sit outside right in front of the beautiful church. The food was good, the chairs outside a bit wobbly (cobblestones).

They eat great, they serve you fast and well. They have a very acceptable menu. It is very well located in the square next to the statue of Dante Alighieri.
There is also an ice cream and pastry shop that is extraordinary and from which you can order to eat at the table.
It has a terrace and also several very nice rooms inside.
It is worth going.

Excellent cuisine at good costs. It is the best place to have a varied breakfast between salty and sweet. About 20 types of croissants and fresh pressed. Coffee is also good. At the disposal of the clineti there is a nice room for breakfast without asking for surcharges. Always clean bathrooms. We had houses upstairs and we went down several times during the day.
