Great place to visit.....Cafe is lovely, nice relaxing walks with lots to see and the shop is fantastic!

Couldn't spend any time there as no toilets on site.

This is a super friendly and helpful place very beautiful surroundings i.e Findhorn beach and harbour great food super child friendly.

Peaceful and interesting place. A bit whacky. A group of people gathered round a tree/Bush connecting with said bush( madness).

Place is so bad I had to research it for a English project. 0/10. Absolutely frivolous.

So I was waiting outside the shop wandering if all these folk were on drugs (they may well have been) and overhearing their conversations about tree energy, cosmic healing and other pish, trying to keep a straight face and hoping my friends would hurry up ( not my idea to even be here.) Too much fake hippies going around looking smug for my liking.

As an educational charity working towards creating community within the organisation and beyond the Findhorn Foundation makes the world a better place.

There is something fantastic and yet almost surreally absurd about this place. Great eco housing, very relaxed atmosphere. Great cafe (try the Death by Chocolate cake) and interesting shop. The Universal Hall is a great venue with good acoustics and again a relaxed but welcoming feel.

Findhorn Fail - what no water refill? = disappointment, not dislike.

I stopped off on a long bike ride needing to refill my water bottle. I use the Refill app that lists places that are part of the movement to reduce plastic water bottle waste by offering refills. The foundation wasn't on it, but I assumed it was an oversight considering it's planet friendly ethos.
Sadly I was mistaken. I'm sure they would have filled my bottle if I'd used the cafe, but I didn't have time.
I had planned to buy food in the shop in gratitude for the service, which I did anyway and ended up buying drinks in plastic bottles and cartons - Findhorn-fail poor planet
The shop worker was embarrassed and very apologetic, but didn't know if the water in the public toilets was drinkable, not a pleasant place to top up.
I was disappointed that an organisation with the foundations ethos isn't pioneering stuff like this.
The staff were friendly, if unable to help, the variety in the shop was very good.
If my visit had been for any other reason I'd give a higher score, but sadly too much plastic and too little plastic avoidance. Costa Coffee 5 miles away are in the Refill scheme, I'll go there next time.

Beautiful place. Lovely Eco houses. Nice little shop for essentials, gifts and souvenirs. Great cafe.

I have lived in The Park for many years, and now left. Overall it is a mixed basket. Some great people and also some horrible people here, especially in management level. The Findhorn Foundation, like many organizations, lost its way a long time ago, it is now ran as a business, selling overpriced spiritual workshops. Their wonderful Experience-Week, is very well designed to attract people, and I would recommend doing it, if you are into those type of things. However when you learn what's going on behind the scenes, you realize, they don't walk their talk, some really weird horror stories around here. Certainly worth a visit or even short course, to get some inspiration to take with you, but don't stay too long or you'll regret it, like I did.

This is a place that transforms your world. It's that simple. Built on powerful, simple principles of personal and spiritual growth, the work the Foundation does is unique and could very well save our world. It has certainly saved mine. If you are seeking to open your heart and soul, deepen your relationship with the natural world, and lift your concept of what it means to work, the Foundation can help.

This place is preposterous. The people are petulant peeves and produce nothing pertaining to the good of the populace. Giant cabbage? Phony subjects mooning "power centers" fairies devas and wood nymphs. If you find any wood nymphs so I can tell my homies and we can bust it proper. Mu ha.

Highlight of my stay was singing with the Taize group at 8am in a divine building in the Nature Sanctuary. Some very moving moments.

Did not see what all the hype was about. As a person that feels strongly about green values and sustainable living I was looking forward to visiting this place but felt it was lacking. Nice selection of products in the shop but unfortunately the cashier in the shop was moody and unwelcoming.

Very intetesting place. Beautiful houses, coffee shop and food shop with unusual food, fresh bread and great cheese and vegetarian selections.

One of my favourite places to visit. The older part in particular is quirky and reminds you of its hippy past.

Amazing place.loved every minute of it.
I came away rejuvenated with a fresh take on my life. I will be going back again and again.

Unique intentional community attracting international and local visitors. Fabulous Phoenix Wholefood shop and cafe...friendly staff. Universal Hall has wide ranging concert and events programme. Regular afternoon tours of the site to view Arts centre, crafts studios, eco homes, gardens, windmills and more. Camping and caravan rental for holidays.

The Findhorn Foundation is an interesting and healing place. A spiritual ECO community tucked away not too far from Inverness. I've visited this fascinating community three times so far and hope to return again as soon as possible. If you want to explore a different way of living I recommend a visit. Arrange a tour in advance if you can.

A lot to interest many people. Lots of things to look at. Lovely cafes, Lovely woodland and beach walks, excellent convenience store

I didn't like this place, I got beeper at for parking incorrectly and although there were many friendly people there were also many that would walk right passed without even giving eye contact, rude behaviour in my book. I came away thinking it was not a very friendly place and very different from what I expected. Wouldn't recommend visiting tbh.

We went to have a look around with a view to camping and / or attending a course. We walked around, used the cafe, shop and looked at the theatre etc. We found people unfriendly to the point of being hostile. Perhaps we didn't fit in...It was very unfortunate and surprising given their ethos. We wont be going back or recommending.
