At Johnny Rockets there were 8 people behind the counter and 3 were just standing around doing nothing while 2 worked the registers, 2 worked the fryers, and 1 was refilling drinks which made wait times for food 40-45 min
My family loves Six Flags! Great way to have fun with season passes that don't break the bank and give everyone fun rides even though we've done them all before. And the funnel cakes, right?
Nice place but rember to bring water and food because all the food and water and pretty much everything that you buy in the stores are crazy overpriced and the games that you pay money for are obviously rigged so I wouldn't recommend playing those games I also wouldn't recommend the payed rides because you pay a good amount of money for it and it is not nearly as good as you would expect or as long definitely not worth the money your better off going to one of the included rides and if you are planning on not waiting a very long time in lines than you might want to buy the flash pass but that is also pricey so I would recommend just waiting in line the lines go pretty fast and you get time to talk to who ever your going with I also couldn't recommend going really early because all the rides are closed overall it's a good place if you come prepared
All the rides were great and the park was very clean! Loved the winter theme!
Since we in Houston lost Astroworld, this is the closest theme park to us. It's great though, lots of fun rides. The prices are insane, especially for parking, unless you get a season pass which also gets you into Splashtown! That's the only way to go for Houstonians. Minus one star for non-season pass prices and the water park which has outrageous locker prices and disgusting people who poo in the showers.
Had an awesome time. All staff were friendly, and the ride coordinator for The Poltergeist was HILARIOUS! She asked if we'd seen Final Destination as she hit the start button and scared the crud outta my daughter xD Will be getting a season pass today.
great staff and fun rides but many required standing in direct sunlight for most of the lines. they offer cups of ice water for free

Never go during the off season. Twice we've made that mistake and about 80/90% of the rides were closed down. If I wasn't paying membership price I would have been mad.

I have the family passes plus the dining passes. The rides are great. The shows are wonderful. Most of the food sucks though. We usually just eat the snack option, not the lunch or dinner.
If its crowded at all during COVID, don't go. The coasters are at low capacity Even short lines take FOREVER. One coaster has 28 seats, but only 5 people at a time were riding. Meanwhile, all the people waiting in line were on top of each other. I assert that waiting in line for more time is more dangerous than a fully loaded ride. The food is also awful, and parking is almost $30. The rides are solid, the ambiance is good, and its pretty clean. One of the better 6 flags I've been to.
Six Flags Fiesta Texas during Christmas time at night is worth it for the shows, shorter ride wait times and pleasant weather.
The park was very well kept. The rides offered a wide variety of experiences, although I did feel like there was a lack of "less thrilling" experiences such as karting for example. I think there should also be more emphasis on hydration stations as water fountains were far and between. Overall the park has a lot to offer and I felt satisfied with my visit.
Love the rides and I love how they have little cubbies to place your things in!
I love this place the first time I came. The employees are very friendly and the rides are very thrilling. The food is great and the surrounding is very natural.

We get the best value as a season pass holder and i appreciate the ability to pay for the membership on a monthly basis which makes it even more affordable! With the water park included, it is the best theme park to visit for your dollar.
High Point season passes for my family late in the season I bought the fast passes for us to drink to program the meal program in everything that thing I have to say that I don't like about this Six Flags out of all the others I've been to is that the free drink system is kind of quirky you know I've been to other Six Flags and Cedar Point of the places where when they say all-you-can-drink they mean all you can drink and there's this disorder machines everywhere and it's card so you can get it not at the Six Flags and I can tell you I won't be spending another $6,000 next year
I love this place but there is on thing I don't like about they allow people to be pushy once u tell a person no thank u.they have two sets of people of groups they ask u do u want to spin the wheel for a trip u tell them no thank u and they still push them self's on u .Fiesta workers don't even push u they ask once u tell them no thank u and that's it.we are trying to have good time but on one side of the park has one set of pushy people and the other side the same different set of people.why can't we just have fun without dealing with these people they want us to fill out a piece of paper to go listen to there pitch in canyon lake resorts.I love Fiesta Texas in San Antonio TX.but I almost don't want to go because of it we are always trying away to get away from them.yall need to do something about this I am not the only person feels this way

Usually an awesome time but they were incredibly understaffed this day and half the rides were shut down.
Food is way too expensive and the park in a whole needs to be updated. Most props in park show their age pretty badly, restaurants in park look dingy and not very well kept. Walls and ceilings are old and stained. And they offer a good little app to navigate through the park but does you no good cause cell service sucks there and they don't offer WiFi anywhere in the park. This park charges so much for everything but does not put any of it towards the upkeep and appearance of the park.

It was so so...they need to open the newest rides, especially rollercoasters since only 2 of 3 were closed. Just as they need to update the restrooms and clean them more often. Won't go back, unless there is a serious deal on tickets.
The Lines were long especially when ypu wait for 30 min. For a 2 min ride. But the waterpark was great though!
So much fun, tons of things to do. Everything that isn't a ride will cost you double, triple from what it is outside the gate. Example kids size below average hot chocolate drink, $4. I didn't know hot chocolate could taste so bad at that price.
We went today and it was so bad.The food was not very good and we waited almost 2 hours and we didn't even get to ride because the ride broke. This place is fun but the employees are not as nice as they can be. My friends and I only went on three rides over a six hour period because of the lines and and technical difficulties. It was a complete waste of my money and I recommend everyone who wants to come here to not even try. We drove over 3 hours here and back for this trash place. I cannot believe this place have a 4 star rating everyone was trying to be nice. I would give this place a negative star rating if I can but the lowest is one star. I wished I never payed for this dumb trip. I was hoping to have fun withh my friends and it was a complete bust. Please before you even come here reconsider your decision and go somewhere else. I waited over a hour for every ride and even food I didn't get to eat after waiting so long.

We had a lot of fun. Downfall was at this park they make you wear your mask even while on the ride. My husband has asthma and kept taking breaks (not close to anyone just sitting by himself to catch his breath, it was 102 out) and employees were constantly telling him to put his mask back on. One woman even touched his back to tell him which scared him cause he didn't expect it. Also, a lot of rides were shutting down long before closing time. We left and came back about 530 and half the rides were closed that just an hour prior were all running. I lost my hat while on a ride (I didn't think I would it was tightly on my head, my fault) I made a report and they just basically said most likely won't be retrieved. So that's nice my $20 hat I just bought is gone forever . Otherwise the fireworks were amazing, most of the employees were sweet and the park is nicer than six flags over texas! Oh one more downfall, they turned the ac off in the bathrooms couple hours before close. So maybe hold it til you leave lol. It was super hot and smelly.
So fun bring sun screen and water socks or you will be burning from both ends.

The park has really stepped up it's game. We had quit going because the place looked dirty and the rides looked worn and they did not enforce the rules. They have great roller coasters, people are not running around half naked and if you buy your tickets online you can save a few bucks.
It was fun, clean, and beautifully decorated during the holidays. They had a holiday deal going on and we were able to buy our tickets for $30/each. I was a bit disappointed with waiting in a long line for 45 mins only to have the ride shut down for one thing or another. While we were there few of the rides (3 or 4) shut down but then reopened later after an undetermined amount of time. The food selection was pretty good. I took advantage of the dining deal pass they offer online when also buying your ticket online, and I'm glad I did as I was able to save a little bit while choosing the more expensive meals and snack. Just don't forget to redeem it as soon as you get in so you don't have to backtrack and do more waiting when you're hungry. I think it would've also been worth it to pay a little extra for the flash pass.
Great value with included water park and prices way less than disney or universal. Staff fruendly , long fiod lines
This place is too expensive. With parking and admission, I almost paid $100. That's how much I paid for Disneyland, but Disneyland is a much better amusement park. If you're gunna go to six flags, I recommend you get the season pass. For whatever reason, it's cheaper to get than a one day ticket. Also, eat before you go. Like any amusement park, it's ridiculously expensive. Their website states that no outside food or drinks are permitted, but they always allow water bottles. They probably don't want people to know that though. Take it either way; it's a life saver in the heat.
The shows aren't that great here either. The only two redeemable parts of this place are the rides (but lines are most of the time out of control) and it's staff. This place seems to have a great staff on hands at all times.
Awesome staff and amazing management. The president of this park does right by his customers and I never feel like just a number or dollar sign to them. It can get crowded but that's to be expected at an attraction of this size. They do a great job with suggestions on how to avoid crowds if you're not into that. The prices are high, but they seem to always be running sales and deals so keep an eye out for them.
Had a fun day.. Lines weren't long.. The park was practicing lots of Corona safety procedures and the fireworks were absolutely great and amazing.. The best I've ever seen.. Keep up the work and continue safety first.. Thanks for the great service..
I hadn t gone in a while, spent the whole day there even saw the firework show at the end of the night it was an amazing day my daughters had the best time and so did our friends. My youngest daughter got on 12 rides and never through up, what can I say she s tough hope you guys like the videos, it was shot with my iPhone 7 Plus enjoy
If you've never been to a Six Flags and would like to change things up a bit on your next family vacation then this is an excellent way for you to spend some quality time with the family while getting your blood pumping. My family and I took a 10 day tour of every Six Flags between Texas and Florida and found that this park is one of their best. Although the attached water part was nothing to brag about it was still nice to be able to do two completely different activities in the same day without having to go get on some sort of transportation and waste precious vacation time getting around needlessly.
This place was absolutely nasty. You dont believe me huh? Go ride the log ride and look to your left. You will see piles of feces throughout the ride. Think about that when the water splashes on you. The rides shut down often through the day. The lines are long and hot. They need to shut this place down for a little while and do some major cleaning and repairs. I wasn't expecting Disney quality but for all the money you waste here is cleanliness to much to ask for? I wont go back

We had so much fun! We were able to bring mesh back packs to carry items we brought. They scan with detectors. We brought 10 bottled waters, sun screen, small camera, cellphones, a bag to keep our phones and Camera dry on water rides and since it was very hot outside we brought a fan with water bottle attached. We got a fast pass so that we can get on every ride with minimal wait time. We got there at 950 am and left going on 10. One thing we didn't know was that the water rides closed Saturday's at 7pm. My kids were pretty disappointed about that. Other than that we had fun. We ate at this pizza place and a large pizza was $30. Waters were like 2 for $5. Lemondae was delicious. A large fresh lemonade was for $9. It was very hot outside but we cooled off in the restrooms while we scheduled a fast pass ride.
Cool decorations for the haunted houses. A few roller coasters were open during fright fest. Terrible smoke from the fog machines everywhere, some places they had the perfect amount to hide people but most places we were coughing so bad we couldn't appreciate their hard work for Halloween.
Good rides and good food but the food was ludicrously over priced and any of the big rides you actually want to go on have a ridiculous wait time
One of the best place for Outside Activity in San Antonio
Easily one of the best parks in the Six Flags Chain. The coaster lineup is small, but phenomenal. The operations are smooth and fast, the park staff are nice and helpful, the park is well maintained and cared for, and it is in a beautiful setting. A must visit for all travelers to San Antonio and for roller coaster enthusiasts.
The website said the waterpark was open but it wasn't and it's the only reason I went. Bad experience all around
We went to check it out for the christmas lights. If you have ever been to bush gardens you will be disappointed. Not at all even close to the amount of lights at bush gardens, actually there are more lights on the riverwalk and alamo this time of year. There were no shows with actual performers, just light up attractions. It was cold and rainey, but still had a good crowd. Couldnt believe the water ride was actually going in that weather, but some others were not. There was a place you could stand around the fire to warm up which was advertised as a smore stand but it was closed. We wanted cider or hot chocolate, but was told it was only sold by the entrance. Huge disappointment. At least the rides are good.
Half the rides was close or kept breaking down. I arrived at 9:45 and the rides didn't open until 11 and 12. The waterpark was close and guest was not informed via we site. The worst part is the park is scheduled to stay open until 9pm on the website however they closed at 6pm. If you change hours of operation I like to be informed as I enter the park like have it posted or on the website I didn't get to enjoy my full experience especially with all the money I spent at the park.
Wonder women and rattle snake are the best rides here.

Love the park. Found it very disappointing, that this year you have to pay a separate fee to see the haunted houses.
Worst six flags experience ever. The staff was uncooperative and unhelpful. More than half the rides shutdown all day. No maps of the park available.
We where ready to leave at eleven as soon as we made it in the park but had wasted three hundred dollars to get in and no refunds policy means even if it's there fault

This is a very best place to visit. There are so many rides for kids as well as for adult also.but i don't like the excess entry of the visitor because we have to stand in Q for hour and ride is only for 5 minit. We have to left so many ride.
One really great worker went out of her way to get me hot water so that I could warm up my daughter's milk..every other worker I asked acted like I was speaking a different language ..although they we're serving other hot beverages. Overall fun time with the family seeing the lights and decorations , visiting from California .
The rides are fun and the food is great. They have really good singers and actors during the day. The experience was amazing
Had a great trip with the family, lines weren t to bad (Sunday). The down side was how horrific the bathrooms smelled, it was really really bad!!! If your wanting to purchase food, drinks, or games be ready to spend a pretty penny. My advice for families is to buy one unlimited drink cup. Buying single drinks here and there adds up to the unlimited cup that they offer.

Season passes during my kids younger days every year
This used to be a charming, fun-filled theme park. Now it's a park who doesn't know what it's theme is, with everything sloppily cobbled together to try and make fit. It doesn't look like the owners have invested in the aging areas of the park, it's all the same structures, equipment as it was 20 years ago (excluding rides). Don't get me started on the disgusting state of the unattended restrooms. They hardly were cleaned, many stalls out of toilet paper, over flowing trash cans with diapers and feminine products discarded on the floors. And to top it off, every single employee was a soured face teenager feeling to disinterested in providing a modicum of decent customer service. Over priced, aged and unkempt. Save your money for Sea World or Disney folks, not worth it here folks.
My children and I had a great time riding all the roller coasters and deliciosos hamburgers.
