Overall, this park is amazing. I think that if you are in the San Antonio area go here and to Sea World. Overall, I believe this park is superior to Six Flags Over Texas by Dallas, mainly due to its five attractions I was very pleased with. Iron Rattler, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Poltergeist (which I was surprised with), are amazing attractions. The new Joker ride s queue with the haunted house is amazing too (it s not that scary and that s a good thing). I love how compared to the other Six Flags parks this one actually has theming. You can see that they take pride in their park. Six Flags Over Texas has the same amount of amazing rides, but the fact that even staying in some queues are fun is amazing. Also, the lights during Holiday in the Park are amazing and makes the beauty of this park shine even more. The only annoying thing was that the people were SO SLOW. Waiting in line for pizza and ice cream took us half an hour. Also, they were only running one train on most of the rides and it was so busy, and don t even talk about the slow operations. It s crazy how it could have been so amazing, but the lines because of their service was awful. Otherwise, if they can fix this problem, I would say this is one of the best Six Flags parks. It still is, and if they can sort this out, it ll be in the likes of Six Flags Great America and Six Flags Great Adventure. Once again, even through this one large con, go here as it is one of the top things to do in Houston.

Back to Six Flags for a work family fun day. The weather was sunny and beautiful. The lunch at Picnic Grove was well organized. The main food was brisket but they had spaghetti for non-meat eaters. Several of the characters came by to the Picnic Grove for photo opportunities and we got photos with Sylvester and Daffy Duck!

Before we headed to the rest of the park, we upgraded our tickets to Season Pass and it was all done right at the Picnic Grove. Convenient and speedy process!

I had not been on the train before and was able to catch a ride.

Looking forward to going back for the water park and also when they have days to bring 1 person to join you per ticket.

We came on a Sunday in late July (Summer). About 1/3- 1/2 of the rides were not working or did not have attendants to operate them. Beer garden was out of beer. Food court was out of ice and only 1 server per line (25 people deep average). Place was dirty and very smelling.

Fun place, have had season passes for a few years now! but most of the employees are teenagers. so always having to ask for a manager to get anything done. And no one seems to know the rules except for senior leadership one person I'll tell you one thing and someone else will tell you something different most of that doesn't even match official policy.

CAUTION on wonder woman!

CAUTION on wonder woman!

TLDR: membership is with the money; don't leave anything important in your pockets

for the most part this park is awesome in my opinion, especially if you have a membership. I feel like the money that I'm putting in is much less than the fun entertainment and enjoyment I get out of it!

I will give you a word of wisdom about Wonder woman.. DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING IN YOUR POCKETS.. I personally lost a cell phone on that ride and I saw a guy today lose his Rental key car... I do not understand why they won't let you retrieve your items after the park shuts down but I still see my cell phone out there in the water underneath the ride.. I would easily pay $15 to get a worker to go out there and pick it up.. or hell I'd sign a waiver and go pick it up myself after the rides are closed...

Only reason I'm giving this a one is because I have to give it some kind of star but if I could I would rate it on the negative end of the scale the lines were horrible ride shut down after we stood in line for an hour and a 1/2 the Wonder Woman ride shut down because of malfunctioning shouldn't have it running if its not up to par guest services was a joke I tried to upgrade my membership and couldn't get anyone to help me....even after I told them that I didn't know what I was doing, the employee was like, "OK well when you figure it out let us know " HORRIBLE customer service. Also, don't bother asking any of the "hostesses " Where anything is because the only answer you will receive is "I'm not sure "

Even though many things are not open inside, lines to rides are lower, water park was great, customer service was great. There were employees with portable sanitizer tanks walking around sanitizing everything in sight throughout the day. The kids had a great time, and because of social distancing, it felt like we had the park essentially to ourselves.

Came November 18th and it was booboo.
No rides were open.
People getting arrested.
People hitting each others cars and not taking accountability.
No refunds even when customers are not satisfied due to their mistakes. Really unfortunate.

I am a rollercoaster enthusiast and came down to visit the park. Not the best 6 Flags but not the worst. I basically had no lines all morning and got to ride every coaster a couple of times, can't complain.

Not ready to reopen... Nothing for small children (least susceptible to virus) to do. Fiesta known for great shows, but only have one now. Popular rides closed. Lots of security people, but little enforcement of mask wearing. Not ready to reopen...

Had a blast with the family... The kids loved the rides. There was something for everyone We will be back next year for sure. Just make sure you pack your patience cause lines are long but worth it in the end..

Went with my family. Plenty to do even with a 2 year old. It was a little disappointing that some rides with 36 inch limit let my 2 year old through and some wouldn't. It is a little pricey, I think the membership is worth it if you'll go at least 2 times. Nice that you get a drink bottle and unlimited drinks. The wonder woman ride was great. Lines weren't too bad especially right after the park opens. I look forward to going back and getting to hit different coasters next time.

A bit overrated. Holiday themes appear half-hearted. The park is crazy crowded during any discounted/promotional season. I recommend getting a map of the park (if you like to wander then don't worry) and eating in advance. Bring your own water bottle or Six Flag's overpriced themed bottles for "discounted" refills.
Expect to be standing around for hours so bring something to pass the lines.
It's a casual place that costs a lot of money.

Five hours and two rides is an insult. Lines are ridiculously long and most stuff is closed . Is this legal ??? It is a rip off. The only way to visit this place is buying a fast pass, which makes the visit unaffordable.

Going to a theme/amusement park during the Summer ...

Going to a theme/amusement park during the Summer on a Saturday? Expect it to be crowded - you aren't the only one wanting to enjoy everything the park has to offer while the kids are out of school! Take advantage of the water park & water rides! Stay hydrated!
Something you may not know before visiting - your daughters (nieces, granddaughters, etc.) must wear something over their swimsuits to ride any of the roller coasters outside the water park. A long t-shirt that covers their behind is acceptable! I share this tip because as you might have guessed...we learned this while in line (just moments away from getting on the ride) of our six year old's favorite roller coaster! Honestly, after cooling off in the water park & storing our belongings in the lockers available to rent(coded access - no key to keep track of - yay!), we didn't give any thought to her walking around in her swimsuit! A young man (employee) approached us (in line for the ride) & asked if we had anything for her to put on over her suit. Well, sure we did ... in our locker located on the other side of the park. We knew that being as close as we were to getting on her favorite coaster - the round trip to retrieve her dress required by the park to ride. We would be asking our very excited (& at this point of almost 20 minutes in line) little girl to endure more waiting! The very kind & generous employee offered up his personal t-shirt (to borrow)! We expressed our gratitude & thanked him multiple times. His simple act of kindness allowed our daughter to ride that roller coaster without us having to deal with a situation that might have altered the day's "mood"!
Oh, and our six year old's favorite roller coaster upon arriving was:
The Boomerang
Her favorite roller coaster at the end night:
The Iron Rattler!!!!
We have cherished & priceless memories of our day at Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

Be advised however that, as a parent, you might experience a meltdown/tantrum/etc. during your visit (being hot, hungry & at times impatient). It's okay! Never forget that those moments are fleeting & will long be forgotten when they discover a new favorite!
Make your visit be one that will bring a smile to their beautiful face & a priceless memory you can share throughout the years!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot...
Outside food is not permitted (no coolers for a picnic)
And YES! Food & drinks are quite pricey (a plain hot dog $6.50 & 20oz bottle of soda $4)
I'm not completely sure (please do your research if interested), but I believe they have an area located close to the entrance designated for picnics. Again, call the park to verify, but a cooler loaded up with sandwich fixings is WAY better than $13 for two plain hot dogs!!!

I hope my review provided helpful information with some entertainment! Thank you for allowing me to share part of our experience with you!

I would give them five stars but I didn t like that they made us wait for the Wonder-woman ride for like 2-3 hours for Maintenance. Also, they had like two more rides out of service. That s what made me think it wasn t worth 5 stars
But they have a lot of good rides including Batman, Superman, boomerang etc. Over all Is good. I will go back.

really nice a few things to think about. First after you get a membership card they give you lots of discounts and after about 3 years you get discounts on the food pass. Second when they say a ride is disabled wait around for 30 min everyone else will leave and they are supposed to just move the cart out of the way if it takes them longer and is just a cart problem. Third DO NOT GO IN THE WAVE POOL PAST MID STOMACH HIGHT IF YOU CAN NOT SWIM IT WILL NOT BE FUN.

Had a really.fun time here. Glad there was a water park to cool off at. Was able to buy sunscreen. Got a locker by the water park. Got Asian food for lunch. They even have a cat the sells cookie dough.

Overall a nice time with the family. However, there should be more lighting walking to Lonestar Lil's. People were tripping over curbs and other people trying to walk in before the fireworks show. That's seems unnecessarily dangerous with all those small children. Also, the rude senior employees who were with the Looney Tune characters taking pictures should at least have a sign or tell you pictures are no longer being taken. Instead we stood in line and they just turned their backs to us. Very unprofessional. Other than that it was a nice day.

Season pass holder for the last 3 years. Been here 30 plus times and it never gets old. Big plus is 3 awesome new rides opening this summer. Did I mention The Superman becomes a be immersive ride this summer too!?!

Absolute fun place to spend the day at with friends or family. Came here so many times over the years and it has always been memorable. So many rides, shows, and games to experience for all ages. They have an awesome 4th of July firework show that is spectacular and beautiful. It can get pretty pricey as all theme parks do but it's worth the experience.

Don't waste your money... 92$ per adult is way too expensive for this place. The water park smells to pee everywhere. There're not enough bathrooms or places to drink water. They over flow the park and not enough places to seat on top of that so few ones offer a little shade to rest from the heavy texas sun. Everything are long lines of people and you can barely do a couple of rides. This place is run by kiddos under payed. On top of that the bad management of them having to close areas of the park because they didn't have enough lifeguards is ridiculous (they don't charge you less because your son is not going to be able to enjoy the kids area) First Visit and LAST ONE!

Great place! Lots of fun. Might seem costly but they have a lot of offers and incentives. Easy pay options and monthly installments. I got the third best family pass for 3 people with a meal plan so we can have unlimited drinks every time we come to the park and lunch, dinner and a snack for $54 a month that includes parking one express ride and discounts on products.entrance into any six flags nation wide. Well worth it but they also have single day passes for $60-70 if your looking to go big.

Awesome place for the family make sure your kids are over 49inches. Arrive early to ride some rides with out long waits. Food and drinks are really expensive so be prepared to spend money

The Rides are so much fun and the shows are always enjoyable. The Food is great and the actually water park has a lot to offer. As they say, It's fun for the whole family, And it truly does appeal to all ages. Just arriving at the parking lot always puts me in a good mood. If you ever come to San Antonio, this place is a must!

Bought the dining pass only to find out it's only valid at Arlington location. How can u sell something promote it can be used at any six flags then lie. I spend hundreds of dollars every year with them. Not anymore

Disgusted by visit, park staff was rude, lines for entrance over an hour long due to short staff. Cleanliness was very poor possible state health violations. Will be reporting further to better business bureau and health department.

Horrible experience as platinum season card holders for a family of 6!!!! We don t live in SA so for us to arrive at a park where literally every ride in the amusement park was not operational or down for maintenance, including the water park it was a complete waste of time, energy and money!!!

Staff was amazing and super helpful. I had about a dozen questions about the flash pass and the staff there were patient and honest. Never felt like they were trying to push me to buy anything.
We went during the week after school started. All of the major rides were open and the lines were very short. Thumbs up!!

only complaint is that we are from out of town and it's already a hassle loading up kids, clothes etc, and forgetting our passes was a hassle to get in line and have to get new passes. should have scanning available for pass members on app or online access. other than that we had a great time as always.

Good experience a little crowded Saturday but nothing we aren't used too. Best time to go is a Friday less people. Parking lot was good going in but getting out is slow so be patient .
Overall experience was great ! Will go again and often they sanitize rides which is good now,and there's plenty of sanitizer not the best smell but it's sanitizer. Enjoy

With help of a friend we were able to purchase a Picnic in the Park package. The price was great and the Buffett in the Picnic Grove was an awesome investment. The food was delicious. My 9 year old daughter could ride mostly all the rides. The park seems fairly clean. The employees that we encountered were friendly and helpful. Lines for rides are as expected. Water rides will be longer, best to go to water park right when they open. We stayed all day. Very fun. Lots of places to sit, relax, and cool off. Great experience.
