Nice place to spend the weekend, the rides are very good but lot of waiting time for normal pass and some rides were under maintenance. The wave pool was good but many water rides were not working. It would be great if all of them were working properly.

Lots to do. Lots of summer shows. Plenty of places to cool off from the heat. Only down side is if it is crowded and the lines are long (which can't be helped), lack of ride lockers for your belongings, and lack of single rider lines.

We were there for a school related function along with many other schools. It was very disappointing that we were unable to ride the new wonder woman ride being that we were not season pass holders. With so many schools being there that day and many of them coming from 3+ hours away that condition should have been overlooked.

Best amusement park in San Antonio. Lines can get frustratingly long and food is expensive but if you manage to come during the week you can enjoy the park without the crowds. There is now a water park that alleviates some of the wait time at the other attractions since many people tend to navigate to the water. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Buy a locker and eat before you enter the park or leave the park for lunch or dinner.

Of course we had to go on labor day weekend so it was awful. And of course some drunk negligent parents decided to threaten us and call security on us for getting after them for jumping line after leaving their kids for half an hour to get more beer. Honestly why do you have to serve alchohol to people who are walking around with their kids. It's just bad for business. It's so disgusting to watch you people with your liquor making fools of yourselves with your kids attached to your hip screaming. Just stay home. And your security did absolutely nothing to the cause the guy was as as useless as your prices on beverages its unbelievable get a grip on reality six flag theme park owners. Your parks are trash now and you know it yet you continue to overcharge for everything in your park including the parking fees. And your security is a joke. My wife and her young sister were followed half way around the park by a percy looking dude that wasn't stopped once. And if a fight broke out it would be impossible for your minimum wage mall cop"esque" security to do anything to stop it. I wish we could irradicate these "amusement" parks, and replace them with something like a real park or something useful instead of a money making "laundering" scheme that promotes unhealthy parenting and behavior. Thanks to all of you for #@cking things up for the rest of us.

I absolutely loved it! The attractions are amazing and the food was delicious!! Bathrooms were clean and the staff were friendly. The only thing I frowned upon are the floor mats that are on the stairs in the waterpark area because they hurt my feet. Despite this, Iwill have a hard time falling asleep tonight because I am still full of excitement!!

This summer was my first time visiting six flags and it was truly a wonderful experience. Best must ride is definitely the Joker and iron rattler hands down the best go to rides of the park. My family cant wait for one to come to Houston.

Great Six Flags park to take your whole family to. Be prepared for long lines and lots of waiting on busy days like weekends and when they have promotions. Park is kept relatively clean and plenty of staff to help with questions. Good options for memberships.

There was no mosquitoes and it was the best and so are the fireworks where the best and the food was good and on the water slides were amazing and the pool was just the right amount of temperature and there was no long lines

My family and I had a great time at the park. Lot's to see and do. The lines were long, though. Parking was the only issue. They charge $27 for parking. That is way out of line. We had two cars so it cost $54 to park.

Being from DFW, I was hesitant to go to Fiesta Texas. Our Six Flags is always crowded, there is way too much traffic, and you can be prepared to wait in a line for TOO LONG. However, that was not the case at Fiesta Texas. Maybe because we went on a Sunday towards the end of the season. We got there about 30 minutes after they opened. There was NO traffic and we were able to park pretty close. The park is lots of fun, there are so many shaded areas to sit in and relax when you get hot, and the waterpark is inside so you can come and go as much as you please to stay cool. None of the lines for rides were more than 10 minutes! There are LOTS of fun shops to check out, so you can get your superhero geek on! They sale capes buy one for $12 get one free, so that was a cool souvenir. The waterpark is pretty cool. We loved the lazy river! You can technically get around the waterpark in a wheelchair, but the ramp going up to where the kid's area is was a LOOOONG walk. Once we got there, we were told that we could not use the tube in the kid's pool for our disabled daughter, which is the only way she could keep her head above water, so we had to go back down the long ramp. The will give you cups of ice water for free at any of the food places, and we were able to bring our dollar tree water bottles inside a backpack in with us to fill up at the water fountains. Overall, I loved this place!

Several frustrations this visit The lines at the gate are labeled by which pass you have. The majority of lines are for new members as apposed to established members. Lines can be confusing. A group ahead of had to separate and half of the party had to go to the back of the line due to some have membership cards and some needing new cards. This was after being in line for the new cards for over an hour.
Second being lack of shows. It seems there are fewer and fewer as time goes on.
Lastly all the dinner places at the park had signs showing dinner was served until 7:30
The first place we tried was closed at 6:15. But the time we made it to other restaurants they were closed as well. Last one we arrived at 7:05. I understand the park closed at 8:00, but if you are to stop serving dinner early there needs to be signage and communication. So that proper plans can be made. We left the park with 4 hungry and upset children

Had a blast! Since you have to make reservations now due to COVID, we were able to ride all the Rollercoasters within 2 hours! I hope it stays this way. Besides the heat, it was the perfect mini get away.

I love fiesta Texas but today I wasn t so happy we lost my sons card and when we went to get another they told us it was going to be $13 but online it states that first replacement card is free . The employees need to be updated with this info !!!!

So my family normally goes to Texas fiesta rather than 6 flags. The rides are closer together so you don t have to walk far just to reach the next ride and the water park is a great way to cool down. The lines are long even though you have a fast pass so it s not always worth it to get one.

Six flags you were supposed to be our saving grace...

Six flags you were supposed to be our saving grace!!!!!
Heres why: we live in KS, So our original plan was to go to sea world today. We bought tickets online to just show up and find out it was closed , we got our money back, and we decided to go to Six Flags to save our day, well we got there at 5:30, walked the park for a bit rode 2 rides , then all of a sudden the park went zombie! fog machines all over, and very graphic "zombies" walking around screaming and scaring adults down to little kids, my 8 year old was so scared she was asking for a back door exit so we didn't have to look at the "scary monsters"
Our evening was done! We weren't even able to walk entire park or even take more than a couple rides, we feel like it was unnecessary to spread out you horror "fun " on the entire park, other amusement parks reserve an area for that, so if someone doesn't want to participate on your horror activities, they simply stay away from that area and continue to enjoy the rest of the park , well that wasn't the case for Six Flags", they prefer to scare away all the customers! I am highly disappointed, i was hoping to enjoy a fun evening with my daughter now i hope she doesn't have nightmares tonight.
Plus its not even October yet!!!!!!

Update : she is still having trouble sleeping, wakes up sayig she cant get those faces out of her mind. There is a reason why graphic scary movies are rated R, exposing children to that does cause unrepearable damage to their little minds,
should be confined to a certain area of the park and if someone chooses to go in , its on them,

Ps: we weren't the only people that left the park that night, there was a lot of parents that dragged their crying kids out of there

The rides are good but the management and customer service is piss poor.

We had lost our season pass card and then called to see what to do. They told us to go to guest services and that it wouldn't be an extra cost. When we got there, they charged us $13 for a flimsy replacement.

Don't mind the cost. I mind being lied to. I expected better from Six Flags!!!! Probably won't order season passes from a place that isn't honest!!!

had to buy tickets online the day before, but since we didn t and weren t aware... it was almost triple the price than what we anticipated. ended up not going. on vacation from illinois and will not be going.

If you're looking for a review that will cover ANY...

If you're looking for a review that will cover ANYTHING and EVERYTHING you'd like to know about this place, stick around. After reading just about 50 1 and 2 star reviews to see why people didn't like this place, I have quite a few things to say about it. After working there for 2 years as Ride and Lead Ride Operator, I learned everything about Six Flags Fiesta Texas and have an answer to all the complaints below asking "why?"
Firstly, the most common thing I see being most complained about is the food. Let me just say, yes it's expensive and yes it's not very good quality. It's a theme park people, not a 5 star restaurant. Also why is it so overpriced? They have over 2000 employees they have to pay, they have to get the money from somewhere.
Next issue I see being complained about constantly is the length of the lines. Yes people, when they let 30,000 people in the park (most likely the summer) you're bound to be waiting in line for a while. Now for those concerned about a handicapped person in your party being able to ride certain rides, look on the Fiesta Texas website for the handicapped requirements. Most bigger rides will require at least 2 legs and 1 arm, or 2 arms and 1 leg depending on the ride. I understand if you lost part of your body serving in the military or in a terrible accident that you think they're screwing you for not letting you ride, they're just trying to protect you. You can also get a handicap pass from Hospitality in the front of the park by the gates.
Also if you're In need of a map, grab a few as soon as you pass the entry gates in a little station over to the right. If you need help, simply ask one of the employees, we're trained to know where most everything in the park is.
For all your concerns about rides shutting down for "weather" or "technical difficulties" Yes it's unexpected and Yes it sucks. Trust me, the last thing I wanted to see was see people pay hundreds of dollars and even travel long ways to ride their favorite ride and see it's closed. Things happen unexpectedly people, nobody breaks it on purpose.
Next thing I see being complained about a lot is the shortage of staff. I came across one review that says there's no way we can be understaffed, well you better believe it's true. Especially around when August comes in, many of the employees go off to college(about 80% of all employees at Six Flags are under 25). The first year I worked there, August came around and next thing I knew, we were down to 40% staffing, and it took nearly a month to get it back to 100%.
And for those of you wondering if rides close for Fright Fest and Holiday in the Park, yes some do. Including Superman, Whirligig, Poltergeist depending on the temperature, the Train, Twister, and a few others. If you're wondering why some of them close, it's because they're too sensitive to operate in the cold weather.
Now if you're concerned if someone's height will affect them being able to ride something, CHECK THE WEBSITE!! They have all the requirements for every ride in the park. If you decide they might be too short and you want to height check them beforehand, DO IT WITH A CREDIT CARD, NOT YOUR HANDS! I can't tell y'all how many times people have told me they've height checked them before with their hands and it looks like they're tall enough, but when I pull out my card and height check them with that, they're not tall enough. It's just the way we do it there. And trust me, complaining about it to the ride attendant or manager won't make them any taller.
If you plan to play any games, BRING CASH! They do not accept credit/debit cards. Most games vary from $1-$15, so bring plenty.
If you think that the place looks a bit rundown or even out of date, talk to a manager or supervisor about it. Don't be mean or insulting, that won't get you anywhere. Just sincerely ask them to pass it along to someone who can take care of it. If that doesn't work, you can email someone in the administration services that can take care of it.

Had a great time! The longest line was about 90 minutes but all the others were less than 30. Like all other parks food is pricey but the 4 person chicken tender meal for $45 is worth the money, it's a good amount of food.

Love going to the theme park even though I'm not a huge roller coaster enthusiast I love being here especially during the holidays because they have everything decorated and it looks amazing

Recently became a Platinum member, enjoy the discounts and other little perks, however sadly disappointed upon retrieving membership cards and lanyards, they were completely out and stated to swing by on our next visit. We live roughly 3 hours away, won't be there any time soon, wish they offered to ship them. On our way out we stopped at the funnel cake stand to purchase slushies, however was turned away by the associate stating she was only doing refills nothing more, wow! Also, wish they allowed members their discount online when reserving cabanas. And the website states food wait staff with basic cabana rental, not true.

I found the park to be a little lackluster overall at least for my family and I. I have two young kids under 5 and found they didn't have too much for them to do. I also got dining passes, the food at my local hospital's cafeteria is higher quality, and had nothing but trouble almost every visit trying to use them, and once the issues were sorted out all my food was cold. The experience was just meh, and eventually my family and I quit going. I noticed recurring charges to my debit card and found out once we finished paying for our passes we were switched to a monthly membership. I cancelled the membership as we have not attended for many months and they have a 45 day cancellation policy which is a fancy name for fraudulently forcing an additional charge to your account for something you want to cancel. Between the expensive membership, the expensive dining pass for expensive low quality food and not being able to just cancel my membership and have the charges stop immediate like everything else we're going to pass on Six Flags for the foreseeable future.

Always a fun time at Fiesta Texas! This year was or first time getting the dining pass you and it's been awesome! We've only been to the Chop Six restaurant so far, but it is delicious! Will be going again this week

Loved this place. Other than the number of people at anyone given time depending on the day/season. Its an awesome family vacation spot. Not so long waits on some of tge ride and fantastic crew tgat cares about the patrons safety. I will definately visit this one more time.

Always a place to have fun. With so much for everyone. If you're in need of wheelchair or electric wheelchair they have those too along with strollers for multi families. A must come. Its always a bad time here at six flags.

Its always a bad time here at six flags.
I always loved it but this past year it has gone down hill.
The food court smells so bad it makes me gag.
The soda machines are always down. All of them.
They let their park go over capacity to the point of not being able to do a thing..not even eat or drink..and you cant bring your own food in. I have had to just leave several times. I actually pay for the meal pass and cant get a way to use it. If you do get to eat the food is insainly gross and super expensive. I only kept going bc i was stuck in a membership all year that you are unable to cancel.
They closed down all the good rides and half of them stop working a lot like the bugs bunny ride. The surge is gone now so there is absolutly no way too cool off anymore without going to the water park. The only rides I like in the waterpark are no more. They replaced the boogie board slides and the whirlpool and tube slide is always closed and will be shut down soon. The lazy river has always been so packed i have never been able to get in once. They dont run all the carts on rollarcoasters most of the time to create long lines to encourage the sale of fast passes. I brought my son a couple of times just to see that the kids section was closed. I am pregnant now amd cant ride anything and yet i still couldnt get out of my membership. It is truely dangerous how they are running thier park. When its incredibly hot outside and there is no way to get a drink, food or water on yourself to cool off no matter how much you are willing to pay its asking people to pass out. They are gonna end up getting sued. If they can not handle having that many people in thier park they should not let that many in but all they care about is money. It is definetly not worth my time or money trying to go to six flags fiesta texas!! They have the worst customer service available. They really do not care how you feel and will not try to make it right. The farthest i can get is leaving this review.

Super fun! Very expressive food and drinks,so be prepared. Long lines and very hot during the summer. If you don't want to get stuck waiting for a ride get the super pass. Your allowed to go to the front of the line.

We visited the park on Sunday, December 29, 2019. We were expecting the park to have a crowd due to it being the Holidays, however we weren t expecting to have 95% of ALL of the THRILL rides in non working conditions!! At times they were running empty trial runs, so people would wait in line for nearly 90 minutes only to have one or two actual rides go and then be SHUT down again. This happened ALL day!! My two girls ages 10 & 11 were highly disappointed as they only managed to get THREE rides in the entire day and NONE of them were THRILL rides. They rode the bumper cars, the Bugs Bunny water ride and the Carousel. Sooooo Glad we drove 16 hours (from Illinois) to visit this place. We Love going to the one in St. Louis, but won t attend this again unfortunately. Sorry.

Updated :We love Six Flags Fiesta. The Christmas decorations are awesome. The food is great except if you have the meal plan you can't use it to buy snacks after 8:30. Even though they let people purchase whatever they want until closing. Definitely makes you feel like second class citizens for buying their meal plan. Rides are great but they totally under man the food counters. It takes an hour for most food, totally ridiculous.

Update: they changes the food hours to closing which is awesome and made a first meal 11-closing, second meal 90 min after first meal to closing. Awesome change. The salads are way better now as well. They handled covid-19 well, masks, six feet apart and sanitizer everywhere. Great job! Seriously one of the best amusement parks, for sure in the Six Flags family. They have awesome rides: Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Joker, Iron Rattler, Rafting ride etc. It's set an old Quarry, one of the coolest backdrops for an amusement park. Definitely go buy a blue raspberry soft serve at The Blue Snowman. They have Pineapple Whips and other treats. The turkey legs and BBQ are great. The funnel cakes are a must too! Rock the Night fireworks were awesome off the Quarry wall. A must see, we were tired but wanted to see the show. It was so worth it. Great music, amazing fireworks and light projections. I think the customer service was great.

The season membership pass is totally worth it especially during the winter months when its not as hot and the park isn t as full. The rattler is my favorite roller coaster. The new pirate ride isnt fun if you re in the back seat of the car. Johnny rockets is my least favorite place to eat but there s plenty of other options and the pizza is good.

Favorite place to ride coasters. This time of yea...

Favorite place to ride coasters. This time of year in October is Fright Fest. A must to do. 6 haunted houses that are scary and fun. Park is dark and transformed with fog and scary decor. Definitely recommend the fast pass to front of the lines. The lines are long other wise. The employees are friendly and fun.

1st time coming with family and that was a mistake...

1st time coming with family and that was a mistake. It was such a terrible experience and will definitely be my last visit to any six flags.

1) No free parking when you already lay down almost $1000 on 1 day tickets for your whole family. Absolutely ridiculous. It's also not the best parking with 0 shade provided to the thousands of people that go there. You only get free parking if you do a membership. But if you're visiting this part of Texas for 4th of July for the 1st time then why would you get a membership for the whole year? Basically if you're visiting for a short period of time then you're getting screwed over and this is not the place to go with family.

2) Terrible design/layout with no signs directing people where they should go when they enter six flags. So many people are lost and don't know where to buy their tickets.

3) So many entrances that are closed which results in longer wait times. As a first time visit be prepared to wait hours just to purchase your tickets. It's like a grocery store that only has 1 cashier lane open for hundreds of customers.

4) The employees are useless and give out misinformation. We entered and asked one employee which line do we go in to buy 1 day tickets and the line they told us to go to was the wrong line. Literally over 100 + people in the same line that made the same mistake as us. They have 0 signs designating where you should go. We waited 1 hour for some small girl that worked there to finally direct all of us in the right direction into a different abandoned line. She needs to be fired along with all of the other terrible employees they have.

5) It's extremely hot with close to no shade provided for paying customers along with no good seating. There's also no fans working in most areas or they're lacking them completely. You'll be standing in the sun for hours.

6) Six flags is literally a waiting simulator. You'll be waiting hours in the sun for a ride that only provides a mediocre amount of entertainment. I'm taking about 1 minute or less of enjoyment. Some of the roller coasters last less than 30 seconds when you wait over 1 hour for it.

7) A 1 day pass is useless when you're under the impression that you'll be able to ride all 55 rides they provide when in reality you'll only be able to ride less than 10. We showed up for the whole day and only rode 8 total...

8) There's way too many people and it's extremely over crowded with poorly designed rides. You'd expect their roller coasters and such to be bigger and able to seat way more people but instead they don't. They also send them off with empty slots/seats even though there's hundreds of people waiting in line to get on them. Absolutely ridiculous.

9) They price gouge on everything including tickets and all food/beverages inside the park. You'll cough up hundreds of dollars. If you don't have a membership then you will receive 0 discounts and will have to pay 100x the normal value. Most beverages are priced around $10 for 1 drink and food is priced around $15 or more. Nachos cost $14.99 and here I thought that movie theaters were bad. Six Flags is way worse.

10) They say they don't promote "line cutting" but there were people doing it constantly and getting away with it. And they say they don't promote it but if you have a big wallet they will gladly let you "line cut" with a "flash pass." Their hypocrisy knows no bounds. They'll sell it to you. If you don't have a flash pass then this place basically sucks. You'll be waiting in lines for practically more than 90% of the day while you experience close to no enjoyment. These "flash pass" users will constantly cut in line and make your wait times way longer than they should be.

11) The 1st bathroom I used had over flooded diarrhea water on the bathroom floor which is disgusting. The people that go here clearly don't know how to be more civilized and I feel sorry for the employee that had to clean that up. But with the terrible price gouging I lost all sympathy.

12) The place is also really dirty in some areas you'll see a lot of trash/littering.

Great theme park. It's a bit small compared to others in the nation due to height restrictions. It's close to the air port. The park is the only one where their concerts are still legitimately live. Performers actually sing and perform how you see them

Visited on a Tuesday in August and it didn't appear to be very busy by just looking at the parking lot. However, several rides appeared to be understaffed and wait times were much longer than they should have been. Superman had wait times well over an hour and it used to be a short wait when we visited in the past. Additionally, they apparently don't run any shows on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Plus, the shut down the Gully Washer (the river raft ride) for 45 minutes around lunch time for some reason, like at the hottest part of the day. The water park should be open the same hours as the rest of the park in the summer, don't understand why it has such limited hours. To top it off, our parking pass from another park didn't work here (when the technology clearly supports this). So, Six Flags is definitely more concerned about saving a few dollars than ticking off their most loyal customers. On the positive side, the staff here are by far the most friendly and helpful of any of the 3 Six Flags parks we've visited this year. This park also has the most shade to help beat the hot summer days--and provides large cups of ice water (for free), unlike the tiny 8 oz cups provided in St. Louis. I like Fiesta Texas, but the constant money grabbing from corporate will keep me and my family from renewing our season pass after this year.

I love coming to this park! They have great roller coaster rides. The wait time for some can pretty long but worth the wait. They have plenty of restaurants to choose from. Great place to hang out with family and friends.

I had a lot of fun and the staff was amazing the only thing is that the food lines and other lines were super long and it was super hot. The other thing is the rattler was closed and that s one of my favorite rides! Apparently the lift broke but if you go after it s fixed you NEED to go in it it s super fun!! And the Wonder Woman is a little too jerky and I still love the ride just tighten it up a little bit! Thank you so much for making my trip fun! Despite the other cons I have a lot of pros! The Superman is my favorite ride there because it always goes by fast and it s a super long, thrilling, and enjoyable ride. It s not jerky and it s super fun! The boardwalk is super fun for the kids and has plenty of rides for the kids! Again thank you for having great staff and great rides I had a blast!!!!

Took my kids to Fiesta Texas. We were a bit disappointed many of the rides were closed due to malfunctions. We were in line for 15 minutes at one ride the log ride and they shut it down to a malfunction. It opened back up an hour later. Preferred parking was not available as well. I dont think we will go back for a while if we ever go back.
