The librarians here are wonderful: knowledgeable, helpful, and lovely. However, if you have something better to do than guess at the random hours that the library may or may not be open, you're out of luck. Twice this week I went here to retrieve books I had on reserve. I have a busy work schedule and a kid, like most people. First time: a handrwitten sign on the door that the library would not open until noon. Nothing on the website, nothing. Second time: the day after a snowstorm. Schools are open. Everything else open. Library closed. Again, nothing on the website, no sign, nothing. Again, the staff is lovely, but the lack of basic professionalism regarding when this institution is actually open is appalling.

Interesting that in HBOs Mrs. Fletcher Episode 5 in the final scene that she gets a text from Julian from The Field Library s phone number.

A wonderful library, good collection of books of various topics. i almost always can find books that i like, and new books to expand my horizon of knowledge and interest. in addition, every one works there is forever helpful and friendly.

Great service and knowledgeable/kind staff. Love seeing that it's a hub for local kids. Stinks that there aren't many free parking options, and it could definitely use a renovation/expansion considering it's so well used!

I love the field library there are multiple amazing books.The staff are also very kind and helpful.The library has multiple options and there is tutoring .Now during the pandemic the library has started an online tutor session.I love the idea of the tutoring help online.

The Field Library on Google shows the Field Library open on Sunday from 1-4 and at 9 am on Monday. When I went to pick up a reserve book on Sunday, the library was closed. When I showed up on Monday at 9:16am, I was told the library was closed until 9:30 for Seniors. The supervisor was unsympathetic and dismissive of my need to get a reserve book from the circulation desk even though I had made two trips to the library and told me that I d have to wait until the library opened if I was a Senior (I am). There is no sign on the exterior door with official hours so I presumed the Google information was correct. I am very frustrated with this experience and hope that someone on the Board will speak to the library staff about respectful ways to deal with community members. Sadly, I will not return to this public library for some time to come.

Thanks for hosting our "Let's Put Peekskill on the Map" workshops, and to all the staff there. We appreciate all they did to prepare the room for our presentation.

The room was perfect for our presentation. Nice and cool, plenty of room, and the projector and screen setup was exactly what we needed for our attendees.
