Awesome place to work! Senior leadership really cares about associates and they're always looking for ways to change up policies to make them better. Very associate-focused, in my opinion, and dedicated to charity, including at times to associates in need.
Communities well cared for and a lot of money re-invested to make sure they're kept up over time. Lots of resident events as well, which we can hopefully get back to soon as the impact of the pandemic wanes. Beautiful properties, great associates and good vision overall. Very happy to be part of it! We have a pretty cool job in that we get to help people find their homes. I see some negative posts on here where it seems we may have missed the mark, which certainly happens. This is a company however that embraces a "Lessons Learned" approach, so we can keep improving and providing the best possible home for our residents.

UPDATE:Nice try riverwood,I see that you are trying to save face claiming that I should reach out as if I would get help when the last few times I did I got none which is why we are here with the review below.Shame on you for even having the name luxury on your name !
Riverwood Apartments is the worst apartment fiduciary could ve taken in.They don t have central ac and never mentioned that so we moved in and just thought it would all be fine.Fast forward to our 1st summer,it gets really hot in the apt ..am talking sweaty sheets and not enough sleep. We went to tell them to give us some type of proper air conditioning, they told us we have to buy our own fans etc..This is in addition to the fan we had to purchase for the 2nd bedroom since it has no light fixture or fan.It is literally a box,no ac and a miniature closet that fits a few clothes on the hanger. Those were not the only issues we encountered however,in the beginning,we had to get maintenance to fix about everything in the apt ranging from a moldy washer to a moldy toilet bowl.It was all a mess..they weren t even ready for tenants yet they mentioned that they had inspected the apt.Shameless and disgusting.Fiduciary definitely needs to rethink this one because the apartment will be a reflection of you and from the bad reviews,it all just looks bad.We are still trying to figure out how to sleep without ac in the bedrooms.Am thinking of drastic measures quite frankly the legal route because there s no way this heat is alright
The units as a whole look fairly decent. The staff/management in the office seems to be useless. I've been trying to get a $300 refund for over two weeks now and they continue to give me the run around. They will not answer emails and when they do a week later, they just tell me sorry they'll send a check soon. They refuse to use ACH service and just sit on this money and are hoping I forget about it.
I wouldn't recommend doing any business with this company. Best of luck to you if you do.
Be wary of giving any FRED property deposit money. I put down a deposit at Bergamont Townhomes but ultimately decided to rent elsewhere under another management company. Bergamont sent me a nice letter indicating they would not return the deposit, with no reason given.
I'm sure their attorneys work overtime to develop some lame reason(s) for this but any company with integrity would claim the moral high ground and just return the check.
Shown zero remorse towards residents during pandemic. Offered to waive the $1.95 online rent payment convienence fee and that's it. what a joke. Amenities and gym have been closed for 2+ months with no reimbursement and refusing to offer any. Pool remains closed although local governments have said it can open with limited capacity. Sent multiple notices saying they will be sanitizing common areas in apartment buildings more frequently which is not true as I have noticed they have cut staffing and bulidings are being cleaned less frequently now. Very disappointed with Fiduciary. Property managers are nice but can only do so much when corporate does nothing.
I found this was an enjoyable job, I was at a loss for circumstances. First for my lack of computer knowledge and the situation of transition of staffing. Co-workers learning new jobs within the company. Despite this, I really have a true respect for this company. I would recommend it..
This is absolutely not the place for any minority to work at. I had the absolute worse expierence of my entire life here. From day 1 I was set up to fail. I repeadetely would ask for help and I was given absolute zero guidance and direction. It was the first time in my life that I felt racially profiled and was belittled on a daily basis. There were many examples of I could give for starters there was another guy there who made multiple mistakes and had broken things but instead of getting rid of him they found other work for him to do. I don't know of to many people who had not done a complete rehab before who could walk in and do everything that was expected without being given not one direction or list of tasks to complete and I came from a construction background were things were organized were when you got there a foreman would say OK today we need this this and that done. I even went to the property manager who was an absolute joke who from the very start didn't do one thing to help me out. If you really want to have a successful team wouldn't you spend some time with your new employees and show them what you wanted done and the way you wanted it done? I told them from the start I didn't have all the tools they needed me to have but to be completely honest I never knew everything I was supposed to have because there was no list given to me you would think that they would tell you OK this tool is important that tool is another you will need rite away but again I was given absolutely nothing. Folks let me ask you another very simple question if you seen an employee struggling or doing something wrong as a manager as a district manager as the head of the maitenence department wouldn't you try to help or would you just watch and let the employee make a mistake. So any logical person who had these kind of expierences on a almost daily basis and than get written up because they watched me make the mistake did absolutely nothing to help or stop me while I was making the mistake but when it was someone else they immediately would run to help or tell the other person who's skin color just happened to be not as tan as mine couldn't you see how I was made to feel this way. There's more if your not quite convinced yet. They had another guy who was the head of maitenences buddy who instead of being a man and coming and telling me that I made a mistake or that I'm doing something wrong would wait again until I made a mistake even though I repeatedly asked for help calling on the walkie talkies they have to communicate and everyone would here me daily asking the head of the maitenence department for help and more than 75% of the time I was completely ignored by him even though he himself told me that was his job to help me if I had questions so than his everyday lunch buddy would answer with an absolute garbage attitude and was proud that people said he had an attitude would give me the shortest answers if any at all and seemed like he was pissed off that I was asking questions. Because of these things I made some mistakes but they had also sent people in to help me on a complete rehab that I had never done one with this company but only after I had been in there a little over 5 days and one of the guys the primary guy they sent to help me told me over and over he didn't know how to do this or that the only thing he did know how to do kind of was take out some door hinges and he ended up messing up one of those n again I took the blame for the mistake and was in the rite up along with the other mistakes I made that all could have been avoided by getting a little help. Than the head of maintenances buddy went and told the property manager that I swear when every single guy there swears. There's a lot more but I'm going to run out of characters so I'm going to find out what I can do now but remember be careful I don't think this was a just me thing I just spoke up. Take care.
I had the highest hopes when joining the FRED team. The regional manager informed me I could get ARM certified, get my real estate license through the company and get the proper training that it needed to advance within the company. It took well over 2 months for the initial week of training that I should've received my first week.
From day 1, it was a nightmare. I found out the colleague I worked with applied for my job and was slighted that they didn't get it because they never received communication to let them know they did not get the job. Awkward!
The regional manager would come to the property maybe once or twice tops out of the month - not nearly enough. The staff at the property had no idea how processes worked and instead of providing proper training, they would say the staff does not ask enough questions. If you were trained incorrectly, how do you even know you are doing something wrong?
They are quick to fire employees instead of redirecting, which is a major issue. They fired my manager and wanted me to take on both jobs, however, I quickly realized I had no back up to trouble shoot issues. The regional manager and her boss would come to the property at the minimum and not train the staff properly at all. They really only came by if they felt it was an "intervention" type situation.
The shady business practices were real. They demanded me to back charge residents that lived at the properties for years during Covid for hundreds of dollars. I mean how greedy can you be when people are losing their jobs? I did not feel that it was right at all. On top of that, they wanted staff to door drop political flyers under our resident's doors.
I could go on, but digress. The last thing I will say is how shady the company was when I decided that I didn't want to be a part of it anymore. They withheld 40+ hours of pay on my last pay check and did not honor the pay increase I was promised. I am still waiting on my proper compensation.
All in all, I feel like I fell for a scam. The company has horrible business practices, does not respect their employees, is quick to fire, and fails to pay for the hard work you did.
I would not recommend this company to anyone.
UPDATE: I still have not received the proper compensation for the last few weeks of work. I signed paper work indicating I would receive a raise and did not. When I emailed HR about it, they had no explanation for me as to why I would receive my full compensation. Nothing was resolved, yet there is a response to my reply stating there was a resolution. This company continues to disappoint. Save yourself the headache and work for a company that follows their core values.
This company stole all of military and Iraq belongings when the movers left the gear in my garage while moving. I asked the company to return the irreplaceable, some out dated government issued gear, and some family heirlooms, but they refused to respond. It breaks my heart that everything from the most influential parts of my life are gone. I'm pretty sure they violated state laws in doing what they did, and I want to look into that for some sense of justice, my now I have nothing to speak of my past, and it breaks my heart. This is a dirty company, and they should not be trusted.
Fiduciary Real Estate Development has been a nightmare. My advice is not to lease with them under any circumstance. My wife and I leased an apartment at Wells Street Station, shortly after they opened, 2015. This unethical company, Fiduciary took over recently and now they are trying to destroy my reputation and credit. I have been forced to hire an attorney when they falsely try to collect money from me and refused to take my calls regarding it. Their in-house atty has threatened me that he will continue and is now insisting that I remove reviews in order for him to stop, as well as more money. I have proof that this is an unethical company and documentation of (see pictures) lies that have been told. I have included many pictures with commentary regarding the proof against their allegations and refusal to correct a health hazard. Please check out my Wells Street Station, Delafield - Google review for more info regarding the dog urination pouring through the decking and see how Fiduciary tried to blame me and then accuse me of a made up lie to Dept. of Agriculture, in which they had no proof to support their lie. When they commented to my Google My Business review, they stated that "it never happened again". How can anyone in their right mind think that a dog being kept on a deck with big slots who has urinated before did not urinate again? That statement is ridiculous, please look at and read my photos included in this review. You will be astonished as to what this company thinks they can get away with and lie about. They have even included what seems to be fake review to bolster their review rating (see Fiduciary manager Heidi Kivi review). I also included this on my pictures submitted to this review. I hope that I can help and warn any of you who think you will be treated well here, to use my case as a template as to what could happen to you. I plan to contact the Better Business Bureau and file charges against this company. I also hope to start a review website, so that others can freely voice their nightmare stories regarding Fiduciary properties and management bullying. Please look at and read my pictures, where I have detail in words and images. You may need to scroll all the way down and click on my review there, in order to read and see all of the pictures. If anyone wants to share their story, please feel free to contact me at greggaz152@gmail.com.
I've enjoyed my apartment at the Domain. I appreciate how clean they keep the common areas, the fitness center is above and beyond, the location downtown is perfect, and the staff has always been helpful.
