I had the highest hopes when joining the FRED team. The regional manager informed me I could get ARM certified, get my real estate license through the company and get the proper training that it needed to advance within the company. It took well over 2 months for the initial week of training that I should've received my first week.

From day 1, it was a nightmare. I found out the colleague I worked with applied for my job and was slighted that they didn't get it because they never received communication to let them know they did not get the job. Awkward!

The regional manager would come to the property maybe once or twice tops out of the month - not nearly enough. The staff at the property had no idea how processes worked and instead of providing proper training, they would say the staff does not ask enough questions. If you were trained incorrectly, how do you even know you are doing something wrong?

They are quick to fire employees instead of redirecting, which is a major issue. They fired my manager and wanted me to take on both jobs, however, I quickly realized I had no back up to trouble shoot issues. The regional manager and her boss would come to the property at the minimum and not train the staff properly at all. They really only came by if they felt it was an "intervention" type situation.

The shady business practices were real. They demanded me to back charge residents that lived at the properties for years during Covid for hundreds of dollars. I mean how greedy can you be when people are losing their jobs? I did not feel that it was right at all. On top of that, they wanted staff to door drop political flyers under our resident's doors.

I could go on, but digress. The last thing I will say is how shady the company was when I decided that I didn't want to be a part of it anymore. They withheld 40+ hours of pay on my last pay check and did not honor the pay increase I was promised. I am still waiting on my proper compensation.

All in all, I feel like I fell for a scam. The company has horrible business practices, does not respect their employees, is quick to fire, and fails to pay for the hard work you did.

I would not recommend this company to anyone.

UPDATE: I still have not received the proper compensation for the last few weeks of work. I signed paper work indicating I would receive a raise and did not. When I emailed HR about it, they had no explanation for me as to why I would receive my full compensation. Nothing was resolved, yet there is a response to my reply stating there was a resolution. This company continues to disappoint. Save yourself the headache and work for a company that follows their core values.
