this place should be condemned. do not ever put anyone you know there.very short staffed .nurses do not have common nursing knowledge. dementia patients are mixed in with regular patients. it smells terrible is very run down. cant use front door elevator breaks down constantly no one is hardly there to answer any phones. who do the owners know to still be in business? a one star is too high minus 5 would be accurate.just walking in door makes you know how horrible this place is.

My papa was tgere and is was a horrible place gor him to be. Dont be fooled it does look nice but they r horrible. Spend more money on the lobby for looks rather then the proper care for the residents.

Place does nothing to help patients. Nothing for residents to do. No real dining area or sitting area outside. Currently has an elevator that has not worked right for as long as mom has been there. Want to get her out, but no money leaves you at the states mercy. Currently they are also without cable due to Spectrum going digital. Facility should be ashamed of itself wanting to charge families for the box to allow cable to work. Not too mention no phones in patients room so I am also paying for a phone. Food is less than desirable. I have seen what they bill Medicaid. It is terrible. There are some really good aides and nurses, but this place should be shut down. Sad living arrangements for people without family.

The most dirty, unsafe, unhealthy rehab I have ever seen. The staff are not very friendly. Thier rehab tech, tom, thinks it k to make fun of the patients. Pulled my love one after her first 24 hrs there. Place should be closed down.

My dad was at Fiddler's for a week after a two week hospital stay. This facility is working hard to be great, but there are still some things that need improvement. It is located in a rural town and the facility is small, but I will say that many employees have a lot of heart and passion for their patients. There is a nurse there named Richard and he is hands down a great asset to the facility. He became one of my dad's favorite people and he said that Richard tended to some of his specific needs better than anyone has in a long time.
I hope that the owner of the facility puts some money into a few very necessary areas. Firstly, the food is subpar. Many of my dad's meals were cold and very bland. Fresh fruit isn't offered and the meals were not healthy- for example a cheeseburger and a bowl of chips is not a meal I would like for my father who needs a heart healthy diet. I was able to drop off a cooler of drinks and snacks including fruit and the staff willingly brought it back to him.
Secondly, the rooms are not equipped with cable. To receive cable, the patient needs to contact Spectrum and actually have cable installed in their room and pay for it as they would cable service at home! They can also purchase a fire stick for the television in their room. This is extremely inconvenient.
Lastly, there is a very unprofessional practice of allowing residents to use nurse phones to contact family. In doing this the residents roam the facility with the phones and if you call to check on your loved one, a very confused resident may answer the phone causing a lot of chaos for you as a family member. This seems to be more typical at night. I found it very unprofessional on all levels.

While the above criticism may seem to indicate that this facility is one to steer clear of, I do believe that there are people there who love and care for their patients as well as possess dedication to the medical field and rehabbing people so they an make it home safe and sound.
Eric, the social worker, is very friendly and efficient in his position and was able to help us navigate through paperwork and fulfilled requests effectively. Two of the desk attendants( One female and one male) were extremely sweet, friendly and helpful.

I believe with some attention to detail- including updating the rooms to include nice recliners and a more homey touch- as well as fine tuning meals and cable issues, that Fiddler's could become a highly sought after option for rehabbing your loved one.

Doesn't eve deserve 1 star! Place thinks it's alright to hire people to make fun of patients. Pulled our mother out not even a full 24 hours upon arrival after she called us in tears about what happened. Hope Tom loses his job

Absolutely horrible, staff is terrible, tried so hard to get loved one transferred, sadly she passed before we were able too, picked up her belongings & all her money is missing from her purse. I cannot believe this place is even open. It's smelly & a very depressing place to even step foot into

Great deal of nepotism and abuse within the staff. Do not send your loved ones here. Do not work here. They promise free CNA certification classes but will do everything in their power to prevent employees from taking the class, going as far as doling out suspensions over nothing, postponing the class dates, and lying about the class dates. The absolute worst business I have ever worked for.

Worst nursing home I have ever seen! Even just walking through the front doors without knowing things I know working in area nursing homes, I still couldn't even bring myself to put a application in at this place!

Ridiculously old. Signs saying excuse the mess we are remodeling - however there is no remodeling at all. The sign is just a pathetic excuse for the cheap owners not investing. Rooms extremely small, no chairs in the room for residents or guests to use. Only chairs for sitting are in the small rooms they call a dining room. Pathetic pop up tent in back lot for smokers. Their picture of outdoors on the web site is not even of this facility. Poor, and sad. Resident refers to facility as a poor man's boarding house where they eat and sleep and that is all. The basement holds elevator so residents with limited mobility are stranded on 2nd floor with no way of getting outdoors. Room curtains are dark and dirty and dingy. Public bathroom located in basement. Old broken dressers, not enough tray table ratio to residents. Previous residents memorabilia stuck to walls that are overdue for painting. Such a depressing atmosphere, truly a poor man's hell.

This is a wonderful nursing home everyone who is making reference to any of the more then friendly and ample staff are being paid to do so. Lots of patients are not happy with living in a nursing home to begin with. If a family cares about their loved one they will care for them at home like they should.

this place is an absolute dump not a clean place... under staffed they negglect residents. only 1 star from health department. This place is here only to collect a check from residents and /or family...even with a short term stay they will prolong the process of ur loved ones leaving... just so they can COLLECT MONEY!!

Hey everyone, I'm gonna share my experience with this place. It's not pleasant to say the least. Due to my loved ones age unfortunately I'm a frequent flyer when it comes to nursing homes.

Well, my loved one checked into this place and I believe they got the covid-19 virus here. I have been asking straight out if my loved one has become infected with the covid-19 virus and I NEVER GOT A STRAIGHT ANSWER! No, she has a respiratory infection. Well, is that not a symptom of the virus? Um, we don't have tests to test everyone. Then how do you know anything? I got the run around for an entire week about this and then we received a letter in the mail stating that the COVID-19 virus is indeed in their facility and patients were infected.

I have to say of all the facilities that my loved one has been to this place wins the ward for the absolute worse. The care provided to the residents is beyond horrible. The communication between staff and myself concerning my loved ones condition is almost non-existent. My calls to the facility are unanswered. Messages were left on the machine and no return calls were made. When I finally do contact someone it's excuse after excuse. So, I make arrangements to ship my loved one off to a better facility and they come at me with we'll send her to so and so where all the covid-19 cases are in an attempt to discourage me from having her transferred. Seems to me all they care about is keeping their beds full so they can get a paid. Welcome to the real world people. I don't care about your job just like you don't care about the care being given to your residents. Go stand in the unemployment line like the rest of us and quit playing games with our loved ones lives.
