Don't come or send your beloved kids here. Their physical and psychological well-being will be at risk. The staff are very incompetent and so the university has launched an investigation (search the web for details). A whole new, competent management desperately needed here. Ever wondered why the ANU is not having a mid-year intake this year? They probably need to sort out the mess with on-campus accomodation primarily concentrated here. Do students and the university a favour by resigning! Enough is enough!!!!

The bathrooms and kitchens can be really gross sometimes. And they are old. But it's a cheap place to live and there are lots of events all the time. The community spirit is pretty good, everyone seems to be friendly.

Large amount of negative comments on this list revert to the old Fenner Hall. That Hall has gone, the new SA7 Fenner Hall is a brand new facility with restaurants, shops, beautiful new student commons etc. Don't be dissuaded by these comments to room here. This is a world class new facility.

Aside from racists and harassment from degenerate males and females it would be a great place... I guess that is a compromise or is it? My room was intruded upon while I was sleeping, I was stalked and had my studies compromised... There is no question I have countless friends from Fenner but that doesn't take away from the fact the complete lack of concern and action when my own security was threatened. Let alone the complete lack of appreciation of laws and common decency... It was a disappointing experience, it is more personal I guess and shouldn't take away from the intention of the college. But the abuse and disrespect will never be forgiven!

Very social ANU hall of residence. Students are often involved in clubs and societies, and is the most lively college I have been to. I would strongly recommend Fenner to anyone moving to Canberra to study at ANU.
