Great was my review a year ago.

The waiter/bar tender was exceptionally great and out standing today. The fries were very good. The food, well this place used to have the greatest and an outstanding selection. How I wish the food would become great or good once again. The beer was descent.

The beer was pretty decent here, but the food was a big time let down for me. I know it's a ritzy area, but the prices were just too high, like way too high.

The Happy Hour Pretzel was the only reasonable item I thought. The fries were pricey for some basic fries. The sandwich was tasty, but not for the cost. As mentioned, the beer was decent though.

Mediocre beer and an unimpressive vanilla meal. Keep driving to find someplace better.

Faultline Brewing Company has a great selection on their menu. Most anyone should find something they are drawn to. The terrific menu coupled with friendly and efficient wait staff makes a client lunch at the Faultline a hit every time. My only caution is that the indoor ambient noise level can make serious discussion difficult so request a table outside if the weather is nice.

Faultline Brewing is a great place to hang out with friends and co-workers after work. I like the atmosphere and the beer.

Customer service was lacking. Purchased a deal and the server did not make clear what was included. Drinks were good, food was typical bar quality. The restaurant itself was pretty cool. I'd like to go back and sit in the outdoor area.

Love this place, great atmosphere and good food. Service is good as well. Perfect place to chill after long day of work and for happy hours. also the special offerings are great.

Vibrant crowds. Great atmosphere in both indoor and outdoor areas. Competent and very attentive staff. Food were very well prepared. Must check it out if you are around this neighborhood

We only had drinks, but saw several posts come out to other tables around us that all looked yummy. The beer was OK, not great. They have wine and cocktails as well. The space is really large, so they have plenty of room to accommodate large parties. We were there in a Saturday night and they had live acoustic music, which was pretty good. They were closed when we drove by on Sunday.

Great venue, great beers, great food. Friday afternoon crowd was talkative, but you could still hear the band over the surrounding conversations. And the staff was awesome, I had a Groupon visible on my phone, but I left it down on the bar. The bartender saw it and started us off without me ever asking for his attention! The Hefenwizen was my favorite, but the Kolsh was rivaling. And the Calamari appetizer took us over the top.

My wife and I have enjoyed Faultline over the years at both fundraising events and just for dinner or drinks on occasion. We probably would frequent the place if we lived closer. The beers are always entertaining, as are the staff and atmosphere. I remember especially enjoying a bitter ale that was featured a few years ago. But the most memorable event we attended was a fundraiser for the Relay For Life of Cupertino team by the name of Breast Friends. All of the members of the team are breast cancer survivors, and they hosted friends and family on the patio and had live music and games. It was a very fun night, complete with good food and refreshing drinks. Thumbs up indeed.

Great brewer, more in the upscale side but the prices are decent and the food is worth the price, as well as the beer ours

I like the food here, its definitely pricey but dramatically better quality than I expect to find in a microbrewery. I've eaten here twice and had 2 of their beers. The beer isn't bad, but I haven't found anything I would come back for in the beer. The food gets them the 4 star rating.

The beer is exquisite; the service, world class; the ambiance, lovable;....but the cuisine needs LOTS of improvement. If the cuisine is brought up on a par with the beer and the rest, Fault Line would become 10-Star.

Expensive meals for cheap taste. Beers were decent.

Great experience! I worked with their special event planner Donita in planning a small company lunch. She was very helpful with sharing all the options. In the end everyone loved the food and can't wait to visit again!

These guys make some great beer. Very tasty food (nice, normal sized portions) but a bit on the pricey side. They do have a nice seasonal rotating "menu" (think bratwurst around Oktoberfest) that is VERY good. Try the stouts there (most of their beers are on Untappd).

Amazing patio, food was okay (not quite as hot I would like), service was okay. Our server was definitely swamped with ta kes but even still she was pretty rude and didn't need to be. But the patio and cute ducks made it worth it!

Patio is open, service is great, food spot on. Support our local restaurants.

Nice place for dining with friends. Very Nice Beer even with blue blood family friends. Not a place for Brussels sprout :-)

Meh. Prices of a fancy place, but execution is hit or miss. Fish n chips and burger are good. Skip cocktail, mocktails, pretzel, Mac n cheese.

Nice ambient. Reasonable beer selection. Good food menu.

One of my favorite places to go for lunch with a friend or a big work group. Calamari is a great appetizer and the lunch entrees are very good. On a nice day, sit on the patio to enjoy the beautiful weather.

Nice brew pub. Good selection of beer. You have to book if you want a table. Otherwise sit at the bar, and have a great burger.

Faultline Brewing Company has great food, great brews, and great staff. It's fun and lively for lunch or dinner or after work with a crowd. And they are always generous to the community with donations to Sunnyvale Community Services!

Everything is super fresh and delicious: the pita bread, hummus, tahini, salads. Did not try any of the meats. The falafel itself is mediocre: dry and stiff. Sabich (roasted eggplant, humus, hard boiled egg, salad and hot sauce in a pita bread) is to die for! Visited on a Saturday and it was PACKED!

Food was good. Staff was nice but spread to thin. Will go again.

Faultline is a great place for food and drinks (not just their beer). Their staff and management is very customer-oriented and professional and their service excellent. We've hosted many big company events here, and their fabulous patio allows for cozy seating next to the pond. We'll get a keg of the Hefeweizen from Brewmaster Peter there on a regular basis to enjoy at home.

Faultline is a happening place any day of the week, and a great place to refresh with friends.

Off the beaten path, lots of seating, tasty appetizers, great beer. Lightest beer is a Kolsch, and beer flights available. Plenty of parking at lunch.

Really enjoyed the beer and atmosphere. Live music was a major plus!

Great views if you go during the day. I used to work in Mountain View and it was always a hit with co-workers during lunch. They have excellent service and ice cold beer! It's also one of the few breweries with appetizers that fill you up!

I found both the beer and appetizers to be OK, but not really any better than that.

Would be a 5* review, but too noisy. Guys... Get some soft furnishings!

The location is amazing and the service is great. Would recommend trying different beer options and enjoy in the super-sized mug!

Pretty solid beer and food (though we just had apps). Unfortunately there seems to be a serious issue with car break-ins. We noticed signs in the parking lot as well as by the front door and inside. About halfway through our meal a cop pulls up and turns out the car next to mine was broken into. Be super careful nothing is in your car if you eat here. They are obviously very aware if this issue but apparently haven't done much outside of signage which I'm sure won't deter vandals

5% surcharge to support a minimum wage increase. Well then 5% less tips.

Great spot for happy hours if you work in the area. Good beers for a decent price. The food was a little expensive, but both times I went it was paid by work :)

Great appetizers Thai, Cajon fried shrimp, potato skin. Outdoor seating at the back is very nice with a great view of the pond .

Good place for happy hour. Sit outside if you can, it's quite a live space that gets loud inside.

Environment/ambience: fun place. Mixed crowd. Pretty loud inside, it's hard to hear others talking at times. TVs everywhere so it's good for sporting events. Sat at a table near the bar area, not in the bar area.
Service: service was great. She came by pretty often and checked up on us.
Food: food was ok. Had the Smokehouse hot wings (both dry and with sauce; both were good, dry was better with sauce on the side), rings of fire (ok), and the pretzel with Kolsch-cheese sauce (ok, pretzel tasted plain even with the sauce). Woodford Reserve was good on the rocks!
Cost: a bit expensive. 4 people with drinks was $175 including tip

Sat at the bar, with friends. Kolsch beer was suggested & tasty. The calamari & chicken wings were hot & good. Lots of atmosphere, good experience!

Very, very, loud. There was no music playing, but the place was about the loudest restaurant I've ever been in. The beer was good, as was the food. I had the pretzel and beer cheese dip appetizer and the burger. My friends had the fish & chips and the pot roast. We were all happy with our meals. The porter was quite good, but they ran out before I could order a second. Did I mention it was loud?

Unlike usual recieved an horrible service today.. Really disappointed.. Caitlin could have done a better job.. Sorry to say this but man that was way too much attitude..

Decent beer but I really like the Ahi Tuna appetizer.

Really outstanding! The food, beer and service were all impressive. Their menu was well executed and the beer is delightfully complex and easy to drink.

Finally a stout on tap. Somewhat over eager wait staff, good salmon salad.

Excellent food and great beer. Full bar with professional tenders willing and capable of making almost any kind of drink possible. Gets very busy after 5 on weekdays and you can order kegs of beer from the bar.

Are you kidding me? $8 for a pretzel stick pulled apart into 6 pieces! The cheese was disgusting to top it off. Overpriced!

This place is OK, not amazing. The atmosphere is nice, but the seating is old and rickety, the food is pretty good but not amazing, and the prices are high for what you get.

Octoberfest time... lots of outdoor seating and good beer...

So I thoroughly enjoyed my time there! The double decker flights was something to behold and the calamari was absolutely perfect and not greasy. Loved that there were ducks walking around LOL. My server was very kind and personable and had fantastic recommendations. Highly recommend.

Fish is done with perfection. Beer blond is one of the best I've had. Great job great service.

We've visited Faultline a few times for happy hour and dinner. The beer selection is always good, offering a variety to satisfy my preference for IPAs and my husband's preference for darks. We've enjoyed the starters, especially the Thai Chili Wings. It can get a little loud in the dining area, but the outside area and seating in the bar are excellent.

Good food and great atmosphere. This is a really nice place to unwind on a Friday night. I will be visiting this place again soon.

Good beer selection. They have a sampler set with 10 beers. The food is decent. We tried the wings and nachos. Ambiance is very good especially at the back. You are sitting by a pond having beer and watching a bunch of ducks swim by.

Nice experience, very good food and beer selections. Note to be careful leaving belongings in your car, still trying to control the white-collar snatch and runs. Otherwise very nice place to dine.

The beers deserve the many awards that they have won.

Note: The atmosphere is different in the bar, patio, and dining area. The lake views in back are nice.

Faultline is very popular for business lunches and serves decent food.

In 2013 the restaurant changed the chef and the creative gourmet menu changed to more typical bar fare.

Access to Hwy 101, Lawrence, and Central Expressway is easy. Parking is easy.

Great food and fair prices but the exceptional service is what stood out. They were extremely busy and still took care of us very quickly.

Good beer, though the cocktails were a little hot or miss. The blood orange whiskey sour was very sweet, but the buttered run was delicious. Food was good, not amazing. Very busy happy hour!

Lady concierge was on it and wonderful service and killer food too

Used be a regular when working close by. The food is excellent and the beers are too! We always had a great time, whether sitting inside or out on their patio. Definitely work checking out if you have not done so already!

Great beer, tasty American food. It's a spacious place that will fit a large party. You can take their beer to go, which is great.

Very crowded but raffinate and well-decorated place. However, prices are not in line with the quality of the food, and staff is sometimes not polite with the customers.

The food was good, but the noise level was not. We were trying to have a brief meeting, but had trouble hearing each other.

Visit San Jose for work once or twice a year and came across this place near the Santa Clara Convention Center. Been back every trip now. Food is good, service is good, beer is good, but most important the atmosphere by the bar is great for locals and travelers alike.
