Fashions A-head spa Review

I had an appointment with the stylist Jade today. I was going for a purple ombre but I've never done something like this before so Jade let me know before I wasted my money that my hair may not take. She did a "test" strand before allowing me to throw my money out the window and thank god she did because my hair wouldn't have taken to the bleach. We opted on getting rid of these greys and taking a few inches off. My hair looks and feels AMAZING!!! Thank you so much and you've got yourself a forever client

I really enjoy coming here. They do it all and very well. Extremely polite and helpful.

So sad. Fantastic stylists, terrible management. I definitely will not be returning thanks to the owner and her management. Disgraceful.

All of the girls are fantastic! Getting my hair done here always nets TONS of compliments and I've yet to walk out the door unhappy.

I m writing this review, not to be malicious but to help anyone if they were in my situation. Last week while I was working I had my phone stolen out of my purse in the employee break room. I refuse to assume that one of the employees took it. I brought it up to the owner and I have taken legal action. But when I have asked to see the footage I was told that the cameras do not really work. I have had to pay $240 out of my pocket. I have since tried to contact the owner whilst I have been terminated of my position at the salon, and I have not been contacted since. I simply want to let everyone that comes in to be aware of their belongings because I do not wish this on even my worst enemy.

there are bugs everywhere, unprofessional, turned my hair orange, got mad i didn t like it. i still paid. and they were eating and working on hair. not sure how they passed inspection.

Excellent and quick service. The stylists are all friendly and great at what they do. The receptionist was quick to get me to a stylist and gave me a lot of info when I asked where they donate hair to. I will be back in a month to donate through them!

Never going back! The last 3 times i went therego like this-
Got my haircur which was a hack job. Go back about 4 weeks later, the lady coloring my head said omg.. no offense but where did you get your haircut last, and i said here. An she said, not to be mean but its uneven and doesnt line up so im giving you a free cut today ( i told the girl last time when she did it , it dodnt look even and she said when i put it all back it is, but in the front it def. Wasnt) so anyway the girl that gave me a free cut was doing my color.. i wanted to be mostly blonde with lowlights, my hair was already light, like a sandy ash blonde , but i wanted white bold highlights and contrast dark lows.i vame out ALL BROWN, with a few blonde dongy brassy highlights. She blamed it on the lighting, i went outside and was like no, still brown, she then said after 4 washes itd brighten up, NO ive gotten my hair colored every month for 11 years now and never haid to wait for my blonde to brighten... i got it fixed the next day
. Still not exactlt how i wanted, but she lightened me back to where i was. Last night ( 2 months later) my not so blonde highlights grew. So i fogured id go bacj get them relightened with the lowlights and attempt to get my hair as i wanrmted months ago. I AGAIN ended up slighlty darker and have 2 inch roots and the same dingy highlighys. I got told again its the lighting, and to use purple shampoo, and the brown bled. It looks exactly the same like she did nothing!! Probly cuz half my head she didnt color. And only toned it for some dumb reason. Wasted another 4 hours of my time there. And didnt have to pay luckily. Not to mention she was whispering to other stylists and making fun of peoples hair, and a new girl meeded help and she squaked like a chicken and glapped her elbows and kept saying " just wing it girl" careless, rushed, and dont know what theyre doing

They know how to take care of their customers!! I am very happy!!! Barb saved my hair!

They are great! I'm from out of town and called them to get an acrylic nail fixed and got me right in. Great atmosphere and clean beautiful building! Thank you

Always so friendly! Prices are higher than competitors but you get what you pay for. Also offer tons of services! Its a womans one stop shop!!

I went and got my nails filled and they were beautiful once they were done but it took 2 hours and they started to lift a few days later so I probably won t ever go back. I know thay they use acrylic powder that s supposed to stop it from harming your nail but thay might be the reason why they come off so easily. :(

The ladies there are absolutely amazing.!. Real professionals and they do an excellent job, every time.!. I would highly recommend them..

Always educating their staff, and latest updates. And has everything eyelash extensions, massage, facials , nails, waxing and hair.

I will never go back. I got a simple trim with layers and my layers were completely ridiculous. I got home and really looked at my hair and one side of head my layers are normal. The other side they are so super short! I am HIGHLY disappointed in this place and I do NOT recommend anyone to go there.

They were awesome with my daughter wanting a completely different look!

Fashions AHead Salon and Grand Day Spa has my highest recommendation. Words cannot express how amazing the Stress Relief Spa is. The pampering from Tia, Carol and Adrienne was incredible! These ladies are awesome and made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. The staff is courteous, personable and professional and I am looking forward to my next visit. Thank you ladies for a great experience!!!

Family styles and Fashions ahead are going to be combining as one. And I can t use the tans I have at Fashions Ahead even though that salon has new bulbs! I recently found out that the bulbs at Family Styles are older. I have like 25 tans at Family Styles left and I don t tan all the time. However if they are combining and I am able to use my tans at Fashions Ahead March 1st why can t I use the tans now at Fashions Ahead so I am able to actually get a tan like I used to!?!? It s like I am throwing away money!

My daughter and I called in and got in with Jade. She did a color correction on my daughter with highlights to help blend and tone. I got shadow root and a blonde balayage (sp).. Jade was super friendly and upbeat! She explained everything step by step. I highly recommend her to anyone wanting a new look! She listens and explains what is possible and the why's!! She's amazing! I'd give 10 stars if I could!!

The prices has gone up since covid and also since they opened up a new building. Not sure how a person on a fixed income is going to afford these prices. Hopefully things will change if they lose their clients. Had a good massage with Carol though. Wish I would have been told the price when booking.
