Fascia's Chocolates Reviews

Fascias Chocolates has a good selection of chocolates, and will let you create your own box of assorted chocolates. It should be noted however, that they are confectionery meaning they don't actually make the chocolate, they take the pre-made chocolate and format into what you see in the store, adding ingredients and what not to get the specific type of truffle and whatnot that thay desire. I tried a considerable number of the assorted chocolates, and some of the other chocolate items they had in the store, I can say that chocolate is extremely good and well planned out. Anyone looking for super dark chocolate may feel left out however, as most of their dark chocolate he's in the neighborhood of 50%. The darkest chocolate I was able to find in the entire store what's the super dark chocolate flakes that were 72% and the chocolate blueberry bars, also at 72%.

I was here for a Chocolate learning presentation that they do and it was a lot of fun. If you are a fan of chocolate they have just about anything you could ever want, I will say that their white chocolate selection is a bit limited.

Great company and store. Did the train ride only had enough time for the condensed tour was so impressed, decided to come back after the train.

Obviously delicious chocolates, but staff was rude to my friend, so not going back.

The staff is so helpful. I have a gluten allergy and am doing the chocolate decadence train tour and I was unable to contact anyone from the rail road museum to find out if I had to bring my own food and the staff from here went out of their way to help me! I am so grateful!!

I dont think I have ever seen a place as clean as Fascias Chocolate. The people there are amazing and will help you with everything. The tour is a fun learning experience for everyone with a love of chocolate. And who doesn't love good chocolate?! Their selection of fantastic chocolates will blow your mind trying to decide what to take home. I didn't try it but the gelato looks like the ones we had it Italy.

Good selection of delicious chocolates, employees are polite amd helpful, prices are a wee bit high, but not exorbitant.

Went with husband and kids for the tour and made chocolate bars. Was a great experience. My son says its the best chocolate in the world.

Not as good as I expected for the price of the make a bar. Scheduling confusion as well. However they made adjustments to make it right.

The chocolate bars we made were literally just pouring the premade melted chocolate into a container. And the tour was just a couple of videos. Our 4 year old liked it. None of the older kids did though, and the adults were very disappointed. We felt like it was sort of a rip off and we paid so much money for nothing really.

I have gone to Facias since my father took me to the location on Meriden Road 50 years ago. I've been around the world since then including Switzerland and Brussels many times. No chocolate compares to Fascias. Visiting is a cross between time travel and a visit to Wonka. A pure joy.

Great chocolates and gelato. Visit the factory and on some days, make your own. Great gift ideas. You can even get chocolate business cards. Smell, look & sample. My daughter's shower and wedding guest gifts are coming from here. No one will be disappointed!

Probably one of the best chocolate shops in Connecticut. The tours when available are excellent as well. Already purchased my Christmas gifts online with curbside pickup!

Enjoyed our stop on the Tequila Express at Fascia's for a sample of their wonderful chocolate. The New England Rail Road Museum in Thomaston, Connecticut often includes at stop at Fascia's in their events like the Tequila Express.

Their Chocolate is great an well worth at trip to Waterbury to try some.

The chocolate is delicious and the staff very helpful and friendly. The smell when you first walk in the door is amazingly delicious!

I feel that we live in a time of compromise and disappointment. My mother has talked about Fascia s chocolate for years. I have finally had a milk and dark chocolate cordial cherry and can only say I absolutely disappointed!! First why on earth would a small family run chocolate shop use some of the worst ingredients available? Both the dark and milk are unsurprisingly tasteless. Chocolate is sub par and the inside is out of a Whitman s sampler :-( I don t like saying this about a small family run place but this is my experience. I admit it was only based on the cordial cherry, but if a candy maker is willing to use high fructose corn syrup and artificial flavor among other things than I have to assume that the rest of the candies fall in line.

If you think this chocolate is good you have never had really good chocolate (alma, burdick, Enna, enstroms)

The best made chocolate! I have been coming to Fascias for at least 30 years. They are very friendly and their location is extremely clean. Such fun to visit!

Best chocolate, very fresh. Chocolate covered pretzels and hazelnut meltaways are my favorites. Can get expensive, but the quality makes it worth it.

Came here for a chocolate tour with my family aged 4 through 18. Everyone had a great time. Was not necessarily geared toward children per say, but that's what made it great. Learned alot about chocolate, their company, tasted a variety of what they make and made our own very rich bar. Great time!

Great family chocolate spot with a nice presentation about chocolate, make your own chocolate bar, and free samples. There's some expensive stuff in there, but even the cheaper stuff tastes great.

Amazing chocolate tour. We poured our own chocolate bars from well tempered chocolate. After it cooled, we packed them up and we enjoyed then at home. It's a fine chocolate confectionair. We sampled some delightful chocolates and took some home from the store. The chocolate covered cherries are $30/lb but worth every penny. We bought 4 of them and some other assorted truffles and caramels. The kids thought this was very cool.

Came here for Easter chocolate for my wife. Home run!

Beautiful family-run business, amazing chocolate. It was a shame that some of the employees did not seem too happy to be there. Had they been a little more welcoming, I would have given it 5 stars. We did the make-your-own-chocolate-bar/factory tour. Our guide, Carmen, seemed to be very passionate about what he does. Would definitely do it again in the future.

The staff members at Fascia s are amazing. I went in to get my corporate gifts on a Wednesday and had my 5 boxes 2 days later. I love having my business card Imprinted on a bar of Fascias chocolate.

Fantastic to walk into Fascia's again after I can't tell you how many years. What a treat to see all the homemade chocolates and taste test a couple. They just happen to be my favorites, carmels. So yummy. I bought a nice big box to take home to Florida to share with my wonderful husband. You'll enjoy every bite, just like I'm going to.

Went here for a birthday party and it was pretty amazing. They let the kids design a "chocolate pizza" dip some treats in more chocolate then finish the party with ice cream. If you don't mind a ton of sugar it's a pretty good time! They also do adult parties and the prices are reasonable. I'll be back for sure.

We had a great time here today! 7 of us came in for the tour/chocolate bar making experience and it was really well done. The family obviously puts a lot of love into their craft and the sweets are some of the best I've had. I will definitely be using Fascia's for gifts in the future.

The chocolate is too sweet! The tour was bad, they gave us a tour through the tv. Disappointed

Staff was unengaging and too busy to care. No samples either. Very expensive as well. I went looking for stocking stuffers for my kids. I didn't buy anything..... a small Santa chocolate lollipop was over 3 dollars. I'll get them Hershey's and they'll be just as happy. Pass.

So many different varieties of yummy chocolate. The gelato was delicious and there are alot of great flavors. The tour was informative and fun, as was making our own chocolate bar. We will definitely be coming back for more of everything.

Great little chocolate factory. The showroom has a great selection of chocolate goodies. They serve ice cream that they make themselves which is really good, its an Italian name that I cant remember. they offer factory tours, but I have not gone on one. Its close to the highway and easy to get to. Definitely worth trying.
