Farr's is a great sporting good store. It is family owned and operated for a long time. Plenty of knowledgable staff to help with any questions. With bicycle shops in town closing, this is the last local store in town to buy/repair bikes, to my knowledge. And they gave discounts to Boy Scouts in town when shopping. Couldn't recommend a better sporting goods store in Manchester.

Had my daughter's mountain bike serviced here, excellent service and only cost $15 to get both wheels true and brakes adjusted. He was done in under an hour after drop off, expected it to take a couple of hours based on the number of bikes he had to work on. Definitely recommend!

When you go to this place all you can feel is love. Love for the customers. Love for their jobs. Love for their product. Just love all around.

This place feels like home to a lot of people and they have been kind to me for a very long time.

If you need something come here! It's the place to enjoy and feel loved.

I have been going here my whole life!! Great family owned sporting goods store, they are super friendly and helpful!! They have pretty much anything you'd need from camping supplies to Darts and everything in between!! Unlike the bigger sporting goods stores, they service bikes, fishing gear, licences, sharpen ice skates, you name it they probably do it!! I broke my fishing rod a couple years ago and the were able to fix it for me, it's just a few inches shorter now. The prices are very reasonable in today's department store and online competition. Today I went to go have my Hockey Skates sharpened for $7.50 and realized something had made a home in them over the many years as they hung unused. I decided to just buy new hockey skates there. $56.00 is more than reasonable for my recreational use. Which is cheaper than most online prices. I was able to try them on, walk out with them and not wait for shipping. My daughter and I are off to the rink today! I highly recommend this store!!

Farr's is a family-owned Manchester institution. It has all the basics, plus fair prices and an amazing inventory of obscure replacement parts for major camping brands, especially Coleman. I needed a cooler part replacement and, guess what, they had it in stock! And, get this, it was cheaper than Amazon. It's on us to patronize brick-and-mortar Main St establishments that serve our communities. Otherwise Main St -- figuratively and literally -- will be a soulless wasteland.

Went there to support a locally owned business. They were really friendly and had an old-timey feel. Really lovely to find in this day and age. Prices for what I went for (racquetballs) were reasonable. I'll definitely go again for some disc golf supplies.
