With the exception of the Executive Director, the Staff of this facility is excellent providing a marvelously pleasing experience no matter what the even that one is attending. The youthful staff is always helpful and able to help all patrons achieve a pleasurable day or evening no matter what the event!!! The Director is very inflexible, rigid and unbending to the needs of the attendees at an event and refuses to cooperate and improvise with all involve to provide the most pleasant event experience. The City of Fullerton would do well to replace her if possible.

Very interesting coverage of the Prohibition Era and the Original Fender guitars. We were able to understand the impactProhibition had on the Criminal Mobs which arose at the time. The Original guitar Fender created was on display as well asitmes from his Fullerton workshop.

It had pictures of the people who ran for presidency and didn't win. Alot on old time politics, and guitar manufacturers like "Fender." On the other side of the museum there were scary pictures that seem to tell a story of some sort. Some pictures were posters telling of an era or trend.

Interesting little place, ticket is ok price Adults-5/students-4 If you ever in Fullerton is a great place to spend a morning or afternoon, the for-mol presidents exhibition is very educational ,good ways to learn about American history, want to know how to become the next president candidates? My favorite part of the museum is the builder Fenders story , never see anything like the original guitar, so small and old school, good fun

Fullerton Museum of Art was the former city library which had outgrown its usefulness. The architecture reminds me of a WPA building built sometime in the 1930's with touches of Art Deco, Latinate motifs, topped with red Spanish tile. There are two large rooms for showing of traveling art exhibits & the other smaller rooms are dedicated to Leo Fender, inventor, innovator of the electric guitar not to mention other electrical, music innovations. He was a local son of Fullerton & so is honored in being the permanent exhibit. Alfonse Mucha: The Spirit of Art Nouveau Art Nouveau & the Crafts Movement were both reaction to the Industrial Age which mass produced characterless, products of impersonal distinction. Art Nouveau was more organic with a personal touch & aesthetics that harked to a more genteel, halcyon era. It was a short era that lasted from around the 1880's to WWI, but it affected most areas of Western culture. A fun band, Pint Sized Cocktail Orchestra, played many unknown songs that were probably popular in the teens & 1920's. This special event brought out a large crowd of mostly Fullertonians. Very inexpensive way to spend about 3 hours hobnobbing with a nice representative cross section of the local population. Look on their website for the next exhibit opening & attend a pleasant event w/ a hometown Orange County feel. 4 stars.

Smaller museum with interesting art works and totally different curated shows. If there s something you like, Just go and see it, no regrets. I saw the pro Sharks exhibit and loved the pro animal theme. As a surfer and open water swimmer, this subject appeals to me.
