The jewel of the community. It offers Head Start, Early Head Start & UPK programs, as well as literacy and GED training, special education, evaluation, speech and occupational therapy services. They also provide medicaid service coordination and community and housing services. They offer family services such as: the Kinship Care Program, which provides assistance to those raising children who are not their own and the Courthouse Children's Center which provides childcare at the Broome County Familly Court. Additionally they provide referals and help families navigate additional resources throughout the area. They assess the needs of those that they serve, so that they can continue to develop new programs and provide services that enrich the families of our community.

I love the programs that are offered here at Family Enrichment. I also think it is a great thing that Family Enrichment sometime can help people or families in need of financial assistance depending on their emergency situation. Gas or electric bills, security deposits, rent arrears, and they also keep in touch with you for a period of three months to make sure things are going well and if your family needs any further assistance in that time. It is wonderful that they do this. Now the only part I do not like is when this school allows complete strangers to walk in and ask to speak to children without the parental permission or even informing the parent that someone came in to talk to your child. I went through this. They allowed child protective services talk to my 4 year old daughter without my knowledge or permission. This is violating my rights as well as my child's rights. The school did not even contact me to let me know. That is a right all parents have so if this has happened to you I'd find a lawyer and Sue for a violation of civil rights. Other than that big concern of mine. This is school is pretty good.

About Family Enrichment Network

Family Enrichment Network: Providing Supportive Services for Optimal Development of Children, Adults and Families

Family Enrichment Network is a non-profit organization that has been providing supportive services and programs to families and community agencies since 1984. The organization's mission is to promote the optimal development of children, adults, and families through partnerships with families and community agencies.

The Family Enrichment Network offers a wide range of services that are designed to meet the unique needs of each family. These services include child care assistance, early childhood education programs, parenting education classes, family support services, mental health counseling for children and adults, substance abuse prevention programs for youth and adults alike.

One of the most important aspects of Family Enrichment Network's work is their focus on early childhood development. Research has shown that early childhood experiences have a significant impact on a child's future success in life. That's why Family Enrichment Network provides high-quality early childhood education programs that help children develop social skills, emotional intelligence, language skills as well as cognitive abilities.

The organization also offers parenting education classes which provide parents with the tools they need to raise healthy and happy children. These classes cover topics such as positive discipline techniques, effective communication strategies between parents and children as well as how to manage stress in order to create a positive home environment.

In addition to these services aimed at supporting families directly; Family Enrichment Network also works closely with community agencies such as schools or healthcare providers in order to ensure that all members of the community have access to quality resources when they need them most.

Mental health counseling is another area where Family Enrichment Network excels. They offer individual therapy sessions for both children and adults who may be struggling with anxiety or depression; group therapy sessions are also available which can be especially helpful for those who feel isolated or alone in their struggles.

Substance abuse prevention programs are yet another way in which Family Enrichment Network supports individuals within their communities. These programs aim at educating young people about the dangers associated with drug use while providing them with alternative ways of coping during difficult times.

Overall it’s clear that Family Enrichment network plays an important role within its communities by providing supportive services aimed at promoting optimal development among individuals from all walks-of-life regardless if they’re young or old alike!
