They would have got 5 stars because they aren't too bad too deal with, but they never answer their phones. Tired of being on hold every month for a half hour.
Tried to contact their office and its an endless loop of automated messages. They are almost as bad as trying to get customer service from Jackson Hewitt on the phone.
Who would EVER give any collection agency a 4-5 Star rating? Well anyone who's being collected from anyway!!! I tried calling them today to make my required monthly payment on an old disputed physician's bill (good luck trying to dispute any type of physician's billing)...and tried 4 times. 3 times I got: "The # you've dialed is not in service." ...and 1 time it rang some 20+/- times w/no answer! So...Maybe they've gone OOB!!! ???

Paid $1500 3 weeks ago for a hospital bill that was one day late and sent to collections. Received the letter from this company and paid in full that day. When I called 3 weeks later to ask for proof of payment I was told they don t send receipts. Once I explained that I d paid them $1500 and I need proof of that or else I would reverse the charge through credit card company they agreed to send paid statement. The female representative was rude and totally unprofessional.
I was also faced with the endless loop of automated messages so I started typing in random extension #s. Ext 308 will get you Nancy. Ext 307 will get you Janice. I tried ext 323 and got in touch with a lady who was able to help me.
They make it extremely difficult to pay a 58.00 co pay that you missed. You cannot just call and make the payment without giving them a whole bunch of information. Very unimterested in allowing people to pay.
I actually had good experience with these guys with some medical debt but now I've been trying to call and pay off my small bill for over a week and I sit on hold for about 20 minutes and then it says "all representatives are busy right now" and hangs up on you! I will be VERY angry if they send my account to the credit agencies even though I have been trying to call.
Have called seven times so far. Trying to make a payment for my sister. My sister's account was inappropriately turned over by the Guthrie clinic in Corning, NY. I've been disconnected twice; and no one seems to answer during the day. To top it off the $30 ish dollars isn't even owed. She has Medicare and Medicaid to cover all of her medical bills. Out of seven calls I've talked to a person twice, first time they would take the payment because I had her birthday off by. A couple of days. Then just now they wouldn't take the payment because I was unsure of the exact amount. Having left the piece of paper I wrote down the amount on at work. They really are not someone I would recommend to do collections for me or my company or anyone's company.
Pretty hard to despute a collection when they put their phones on and endless loop they never answer. Absolutely worthless company.
Have you ever tried to call them? I have but the recording just keeps rewinding over and over and over again!
Also endless loop. I read a review that listed some extensions. I tried the 323 suggestions and got a voicemail for "cindy". I left a message but will also try Nacny and whoever else is listed in the very helpful review with the extensions listed. Ridiculous company. I clearly went to school for the wrong thing. SMH
This company is a pain to get in touch with! I tried calling several times from my cell phone and got the continuous loop like others! The recording tells you to enter the extension, if you know it, or press 1 to continue. When I tried from a landline, I pressed one and finally got in touch with a lady. When I asked for her direct extension, she said, "We don't have extensions." I mentioned that the recording asks for you to enter the extension number. Her response was, "That must be for a different department." The last I knew, there is only one department in this said law firm! Absolute worst "Law Office" that I have encountered to date!
I had called and was pleasantly surprised after talking to the first woman. After reading the reviews I was nervous. I had to call back however and was shocked at how rude the second woman was.
My mother in law had a medical bill at this place. She called. The person she spoke to was friendly, courteous, and very helpful. My mother in law was able to settle the debt in a way that made both parties happy. Kudos to Burr and Reid for their professionalism and helpfulness.
This company is by far the most horrible companies to deal with trying to resolve a collections and having them remove it!!!!
Awful company , I did not realize I had the debt and instead of making a phone call . They just put this on my credit. To make matters worse it was a medical bill , I paid with an FSA and was accepted at the time of payment kicked back weeks later . Still no phone call , just put it back on my credit. Now they never answer the phone. This is criminal....
Been trying for weeks to get I touch with someone to pay a bill and the phones never work. How can I take care of this if you won't take emails and your phones are not working.
0 stars. I have never not paid something in my life - they randomly called me saying it was for debt collection. Tried to call back - same as everyone else, no answer and kept looping the automated message. I owe you nothing!
This place is pretty bad, even for collections. They put my wife on a payment plan for medical debt (murica) that was less than the monthly interest, and then went ahead and turned that over to the sheriff's office while she was making regular payments.
One person with a bad attitude can tarnish a companies image! This is the second time I ve had a horrible experience dealing with them. Unbelievable!
Rudest people I have ever talked to. I would rather talk to some call center located in India where I can barely understand their English speaking. I wish I could give this law firm ZERO stars.
