Warm service from the first gate to the main hotel. Great food too.

Went to the Animal Orphanage. It was great. Lovely Guides too.

We have been to this place several times. After tge Fairmont take over, it have moved up few notches .. Very serene and scenic place ... Excellent food.. Nice rooms and set up !!

Beautiful place to spend the weekend when you need some peace and quiet. The food is superb, the staff were very helpful, professional and kind, the only downside is the outdoor pool is not heated like it says in the website. Please work on that.. will be back again!

Fairmount hotel has quite a spectacular site of mt. Kenya. great disciplined and warm welcoming staff, delicious food and cosy hotel rooms. Enjoyable mornings with cool bird calls and above all fresh morning air. I love the place.

This is a exclusive resort, restaurant, golf course, near a animal orphanage. Manicured lawns, luxurious fittings, courteous staff and delicious food.

Always warm welcome fantastic property and ambience unfortunately they have a new manager on duty in the evening-Christine. Lacking in people skills, doesn't understand different restaurant dress codes and unapologetic even after realizing her error. Do hope the management of the facility will kindly get her some much-needed training. Other than that ... Excellent.

I booked a voucher for my friends to experience a relaxing time and chose Fairmount Mount Kenya as the place. My friends reported to have been offered an unkempt, old room. When they complained, they were asked to pay more money for a better room. When they threw a fit, is when they were offered a decent room.
Imagine getting free nights as a gift only to spend the first few hours complaining. I am so embarrassed that I recommended this hotel in the first place.

You really can't beat the scenery at this hotel. You have an unobstructed view of Mount Kenya, the grounds are well maintained, there's an adorable chapel, an old style hedge maze, a rose garden, a bush dining area, stables, a golf course, a large pool, and peacocks roaming the lawns. It's pure magic. We opted for a room with a view of Mt. Kenya, and it was definitely the right decision. Nothing is better than watching the sun come up and down from a juliet balcony with a nice coffee or scotch. The room also comes with a fireplace and turndown service lit it for us each night making for the best night's sleep I've had in years. We like a good cocktail, so the ZeBar was a huge draw for us. Who doesn't want to drink a Tusker in the afternoon with the peacocks? Who doesn't want a Bongo Sawa to cap off the night? The service is the best we've had in Kenya and definitely stands out among our hotel experiences worldwide.

Always a favorite for my family. We stayed there a few days ago and loved it as always. Fantastic grounds, great food, good service. The Kids playground is awesome.

Lovely scenery, beautiful rooms, friendly staff, feels like a second home. Great view of Mt Kenya right from your bedroom. The equator passes through the middle of the hotel, perfect place for a romantic wedding. Definitely coming back.

Amazing and relaxing hotel. The beds are amazing and they're always warm thanks to the hot water bottles. Excellent for the whole family with lots of activities and a diverse menu.

The most beautiful place I've ever been to. I only had the privilege of staying one night on a business trip. But in that one night I experienced so much luxury and comfort that I would travel halfway across the globe to stay here again. The staff and service was amazing. Top notch, the best as far as I'm concerned. I look forward to coming back again sometime and be able to experience so much more that is offered. I literally got to do nothing other than eat and sleep due to my schedule, but even with that it was the absolute best place I've ever stayed the night at.

Very expensive and very boring plain food not worth the price, nice hotel with good facilities

We were discouraged by the security guards not to go for lunch here, apparently it's super expensive, maybe we didn't look like we could afford it. Oh well

Beautiful place surrounded by wildlife and stunning views

Visited just after my Achilles surgery so wasn't very mobile but really enjoyed the animal rescue area. Got to enter the cheetah cage and get some serious love from the one year-old girl cub; her brother, not so much.
