A friend of mine recommended them. I had no contract signed. There should be 2 copies of the contract signed. One copy for you and the other copy for your client. Their fees was written down on a torn piece of paper which Mr Obierozie gave me. He clearly had no copy for himself. I made full payment according to the piece of paper I was given
I expected a signed contract which will clearly state what the case was about and the fees plus expected date of payment including the name of the solicitor who will represent me in each court seating. This was not done. I was told you will be told the lawyer that will represent you closer to the court date. Only the fees was written down on a torn piece of paper
I was then surprise when after the 1st court case, I received a call that if I wanted them to go with me for the 2nd court sitting, I have to make more payment. I told him but l have made payment in full. Why do you require me to make additional payment. He later called me and apologised for the mix up. There was no professionalism at all
Mr Kennedy Obierozie represented me in court. He was clearly not prepared. He was left starring at the ceiling when the judge asked him a question. Although l told him clearly the man we were dealing with was a criminal , he told me, "don't worry madam. This is what l do for a living". I did not see this expertise during the court case
I have not been to court before. I paid for a lawyer and was expecting full service including a direction of what to expect, how to respond to questions so it carries weight. There was none of that
Will l recommend them to someone? ABSOLUTELY NOT!
Update on your response
Of course, I was not expecting anything less. While l changed my name to protect my ID, you have Ken obierozie as one of your lawyers, don't you?
