In gral place was great and they take hospitality very serious, only suggestion is to ask, if applicable, for a non-smokers' room bcs the smell is ours was strong, and for the hotel to make available for all customers non-bottled water (to refill your own glass) in the pool area.

The Spa,I have travelled from Abu Dhabi with a friend .So I called the hotel and book a spa treatment for 14:30.Upon making the reservation I was not inform that the spa was under renovation .And they are using a one if the hotel guess room as a make shift spa instead. As if I was inform I could of chose my choice of not going ahead with booking but I did not given that option .
I got there after been dropped off and was looking forward to my spa treatment ,I was shocked ,disappointed and felt very mis leading.I got as far as changing and refused to wear the pair of slipper look that look very wore out.
I then redress and didn't go ahead with my so called spa treatment as the embience was not there as one would expected when having a spa treatment .I could easy well get the oils and whatever treatments that I was going to purchase and have a friend to do it for me in bedroom and would come out most relaxed .
I am glad I walk away because I would have feel so cheated of 850 Dirhams

From the moment you step in the hotel it charms you with that stunning view, you can actually see the sea when entering the lobby. Entire reception team is very professional, we interacted with them on few occasions and at all times they were very helpful. Separate thank you and praise will go to Spectrum service team and chefs. During busy breakfasts they are managing to keep on smiling and being very attentive to any of your requests. We felt really touched when team addresses you by your name and knows your coffee preferences. Theres nothing better than coming for breakfast and having this type of service - thats what makes you want to come back again and again to this beautiful hotel. Housekeeping colleague - unfortunately didnt get his name was doing great job and entire room was spotless and we could barely see him - thats what i call 5* service - when things are done and you dont notice when did that happen. In the evening hotel turns to such a romantic place and Kiyi would be THE PLACE TO BE. We absolutely loved the ambiance and the food - Oud player adds so much to that place! I could go on and on praising the hotel and the team who was behind our amazing weekend getaway!

We booked the hotel mid Nov 2020. Better rates were offered on call than on booking.com. We booked for around 430aed per night for a delux seaview apartment.

Pros:
Amazing view. Beautiful beach and pool can be viewed from the balcony.
Spacious balcony, enough to spend entire evening there.
Large room and larger bathroom. Rain shower and tub both included.
Breakfast included.
Covid protocol followed with temperature checkpoints and regular sanitizing of room and common areas.
Plenty of seating available at the private beach.
Large pool with 4ft depth and life guards on duty.
Water temperature regulated.

Cons:
Not enough seating available near the pool. Larger seats (mostly empty) are available for extra charge.
Breakfast buffet had limited options and food ran out quickly.
Elevators require room key card which can get annoying especially if u r ordering food to be delivered from outside.
No mini bar.
Limited amenities. Had to ask for shower gel and basic toiletries.

Hope this helps!

This was the second time I stayed at Fairmont, Ajman.
This was our first staycation since the pandemic and I was definitely terrified, that to having my 2 year old with me. But it was a very smooth stay, so I thank god and thank all the employees for that.
I totally love this place, specially their pool ,spa and ofcourse the room as well.
I find their bed too tall, not because I am Short, I am 5.6inch tall, but yet I find it very tall, and that's one thing I couldn't appreciate. But after getting on the bed, it was totally comfortable.
They allow only limited number of guests to access the pool at one given time, the guards there keep a headcount of guests inside the pool at everytime. If the maximum headcount was reached, the others were asked to wait outside until a few came out.
In the buffet area, the food was allowed only to be served by the hotel workers, and we were not allowed to serve ourselves, for safety reasons. Which was understandable and assured safety. However, this increased the waitimg time at each counters. But given the fact, there is pandemic and yet we are having such a luxury to have a holiday, made me appreciate the queues.
We accessed their Spa and gym as well, we had to book slots for safety reasons and only minimum ppl could access it at a given time for safety reasons. We were 4 adults, and all of us had a wonderful spa experience.
And also for safety reasons, no valet parking was available, which was understandable.
The rooms were clean and spacious, bathrooms were brilliant and the view, omg, it was amazing.
We stayed in a 2 bed suite this time, and the space was excellent, the rooms had a sanitised tags and having a 2 year old he had ample space to run around and play.
And the hotel was running in a full capacity when we stayed, and yet we felt safe and comfortable. So thanks once again to everyone who made our stay feel safe and sound.

Very nice and calm hotel with everything you can need. Great athmosphere and good selection of restaurants (4 in total). The beach and pool are very enjoyable. Only negative remark is that the environment around the hotel is not really nice (lot's of buildings in the process of being built)

Stunning property right off the beach. All rooms have excellent views facing the ocean. Would recommend this hotel to stay at for a holiday/honeymoon/wedding etc. Great staff, relaxing atmosphere, good variety of food at breakfast/lunch and dinner. Would definitely recommenced this place to stay and looking forward to coming back again.

I booked for 1 night only for my daughter s 4th birthday, at first I was delighted because there was a birthday promo - Birthday cake, nice view with balcony and half board offer for AED 833.64 (all taxes inclusive) the name of the person who booked was Ahmed Aly he asked me what time we intend to arrive in the hotel I answered 2pm (check in time 3:00pm) but he said it depends on the availability of the room....

Then we came around 2pm and go directly at the reception for our check in (a short guy at the reception) obviously fasting because I smelled his breath seemed no liquids in take that s why smelled bad and asked me to wait at the lobby until 3pm because the room was not yet ready, I asked him if he s sure 3pm we can check in? He said yes either we approach him or he will call me on the phone...to cut the story short it s been past 3pm already no calls that s why approached him and reminded him that already past 3pm no check in yet? He said wait for sometime because the room wasn t ready yet upon hearing that my husband flair up with disappointments and he was intended to cancelled our hotel booking (we paid it already) so I talked to the other guy with suits that my husband wanted to canceled it and just refund us with the money we paid, he said he will talk to my husband and offer something good, (according to my husband since we already check in late the following day we can check out at 3pm) the following day it was around 12:30pm somebody s calling from the reception asked us for luggage assistance for check out?!! anyhow we were delighted because our hotel room was huge and with nice view but we were disappointed because the dinner has little variety to choose from, (I just can t help it to compare to Rixos in RAK a lot of foods), and to my dismay the kids club I was thinking its a huge one with lots of exciting toys but it just a small place with common toys to play with...

Anyway we won t comeback there anymore and I would not recommend it to my friends because the rates is so expensive, no other activities aside from swimming, all you need to pay even water at the dinner...and while we were eating breakfast outside it wasn t pleasant because there s a lot of crows ready to attack our foods once we leave them at the table several crows were so hungry that s why some table attacked by them...

And another disappointment was my daughter brought her candle with number 4 Because we were expecting a birthday cake to blow since it s her 4th birthday but nothing came.

Upon check out the same guy assisted at the reception this time very quickly and never apologized for his bad services.

I think its a five star, hotel. Nice place with pool gym and other services. This hotel has its own beach, which is well maintained, the sand in there beach is not like the regular beach found in ajman, its very smooth and well grained.
Staff is very good and coorporative. It has three different reatraunts, serving all sort of cusine.
Over all good hotel to stay if your planning a holiday in ajman or uae

Fairmont Ajman has been, by far, the BEST hospital...

Fairmont Ajman has been, by far, the BEST hospitality experience I have ever had!
For me, they are the definition of Hospitality.

My family and myself hosted my Brother's Wedding at Fairmont Ajman and all our guests have been praising the hotel property and the services by the hotel staff.

The check in team was so phenomenal when the our guests started arriving in big numbers. The team led by Mr. Mario did an outstanding job to make sure check ins were smooth for each and every guest of ours. How many ever requests we made, the smile from their faces never vanished - they accepted all our tantrums with open arms!

The operations of all our wedding related events were flawless. The coordination with our wedding planner went on so well with every possible help available by the hotel. They never said NO for anything and always replied with a YES/Lets Try/We will do it/All Done! The operations led by Mr. Kazim were perfect as per our plans and our timings. He was always a call away in case of any hiccups which we hardly had throughout the 2-day wedding!

Last but not the least, Ms. Iman - she was our first point of contact when we started planning the wedding at Fairmont Ajman and she made us so comfortable. She took the initiative to ask her us lots of questions to make sure she exactly knew what we wanted! Her efforts were evident with the way she stood by us throughout the wedding and supported us through each event.

The hotel planned so many surprises for us too and made sure we are all smiles in spite of all the wedding worries we carried.

The food was delicious and supremely fresh when served. They made sure the starters were reaching all the guests and kept us updated on their every move.

We had a FANTASTIC WEDDING and had extremely happy guests - all our efforts paid off and we would like to thank Fairmont Ajman and their lovely staff for it.

Its an amazing hotel for a staycation or a weekend getaway too. The staff is so welcoming and warm - it will just add to the complete experience in an amazing manner.

The other wonderful thing they do is beach writing - they write lovely messages on the beach for their guests and we used it extensively while our wedding days!

A must must visit!

Doesn't match 5 stars! The price is higher than the quality. The hotel is disgusting! The Wi-Fi is terrible! The food is poor, they put it on a plate and follow you! The choice is bad, the quality of food is suspicious, we ate and lay with our bellies, drinks are paid, are very expensive, for 2 cups of coffee they gave 900 rubles, fish smelly I do not advise, boiled eggs are blue-yellow and smelly, sweet and delicious pastries are true. The noise of the last 5 nights is hellish, something is vacuuming on the beach all night so that the windows are shaking, it's unreal to sleep, we came specially at the first line to listen to the sea;) Mosquitoes will devour, midges devoured everything in the evening. The cleaning is terrible, nothing is washed, the floor is dirty, only personal belongings are touched and moved for some reason! The tap is leaking in the room, the shower is rusty, dusty. After a complaint on the last night, they put flowers on my bed and made a swan, and did not understand whether the complaint was from our agency, or whether it was just the cleaner wanted money! There is no entertainment, nothing on the territory, only the noise of a vacuum cleaner all night, saunas and jacuzzis do not work, the spa area is paid for, the inflatable slide is deflated, there is nothing to see behind the hotel, there are almost no shops, the state is rotten, there is nowhere to go, a taxi to Dubai takes an hour to drive 2 people only a price tag of 4000 r one way, there is a free shuttle that runs once a day, carries 4 people a whole bus record and a queue for 4 days on it !!! No need to say, for the crazy price tag we got a headache, a nervous breakdown from not rash - sorry I can't attach this sound - and stomach upset from the local cuisine. The last straw was during the check-out: we sat down in the lobby to drink coffee, so they came running after us and kicked us out, as if you can't sit here, one mat comes to mind, what the hell ?! , to the point that you cannot sit in the recreation area !!! So if you are going I recommend stocking up on activated charcoal, beers, citramone and your own entertainment, entertain yourself as they say;) Hide

Had a brilliant experience in the hotel. They were quite helpful in their service and they also were not pushy like most hotels in the timelines to use their services. The pool (even though was said to shut at 8pm), was open till way afterwards. We even checked out a while later than the actual check out time without a single follow up call from their desk.
Room was great and neat! Great amenities. Bathroom was pretty big with a tub.

Beautifully located on the Arabian gulf, fairmont Ajman is a sweet escape from the neighboring emirates of Sharjah and Dubai. Although the room and spa rates are as high as their peers in Dubai, the beverages can be found for much cheaper prices, and there is always the entertainer to help with the food. All while maintaining a high culinary level on the table.

This is a fantastic family beach resort we absolutely loved the whole east access to the pool the beach the shoeshine joint and the food but here is why I have given it a 4 star:
1) For a five star property i would have expected a vallet car parking there was no one to receive us even the bell boy was no where to be seen clearly under staffed hotel.
2) we had dinner at the Italian restaurant amazing food but took an hour or more to bring the food and my daughter slept without eating.
3) Staff overall not that great i didn't feel im in a 5 star resort clearly for the service.

Overall an absolute treat as far as the hotel is concerned just needs a bit of a management and can clearly be a winner.

Best Regards,
TAIMOOR ASIF & family

What a gem! I was not sure what to expect - we went in July and the weather was around 44C, the sea was 40C and the pool was 28C (it's cooled - a bit too much actually). I would definitely recommend this place.

Pros
- This is an amazing hotel - the decor, quality, cleanliness is lovely
- The rooms are excellent - separate loo, shower, bath, great bed, sea facing balcony.
- The buffet breakfast and dinner was actually really very good - better than expected
- The staff are all very lovely and attentive and friendly and helpful (one guy lent me his Khandura so I could feel authentic on our visit to the Abu Dhabi Mosque!)
- This is Ajman not Dubai - two Emirates away from Dubai - it's quieter than Dubai, is not dry (like Sharjah) so you can get a drink, and only about 45-60 mins away from Dubai in reasonable priced taxis if you want to visit the sights.
- You can book to have a special message on the sand so everyone in the hotel sees it when they wake up - cute!
- The shisha "somelier" is wonderful - if you don't smoke you can still enjoy a couple hours of "double apple" with your beer in the evening!
- Nothing seems to be too much trouble - a few minor things we had were solved quickly with a smile. Nice job!

Cons - these are minor things
- The pool, whilst 28C is too cold - just a couple more degrees more would be better
- There was only one slightly cramped sink in our room so sharing was hard
- The sea is not that clean - it's the Gulf so the water is greenish and has slimey weed floating around - and it's really hot! But we swam a lot do it can't be that bad!
- The wifi is free but it's easy to choose the expensive paid wifi all week (we both did despite trying not to!)

All in all I love this place - it's a bit better than your usual 5* - a bit remote but perfect for a quiet week, and only a taxi ride from the Dubai attractions.
