It is a beautiful exhibit of truly unique masterpieces. The museum staff were helpful despite the language barrier. The toilets by the lockers were thoroughly disgusting though.

Must-see-museum! Unforgettable exhibition! Faberge christmas egs - something what you can see only in St. Petrsburg. Theres also a lot of other exponats of Romanov family. And about 20 masterpiece of art who are extremly well-lighted. There is also one comfy-cosy caffe. With ICOM card is free entrance.

Very interesting expo. Gives insights regarding the richess and vanity of the elite in those days. As I understand a good part of the artifacts were confascated during the October revolution, so there is a history lesson with this expo. Ah, and the artifacts are very esthetic and demonstrate uncompromising craftmenship.

A really lovely place to be. Absolutely enjoyable to look at the collection of Faberge eggs - and so much more - at this relatively small museaum, located just about a 15 minutes walk from the Hermitage away.
In my opinion a "must visit" place when in beautiful Saint Petersburg.

The exhibition did not like. But this is a matter of taste. If you are a connoisseur, then, most likely, it will be interesting. Ticket for an adult for permanent exposure for an adult 450 r. There are benefits (preferential-200 rubles.) The exhibition is for a separate cost. The total cost of visiting the main exhibition and exhibition for an adult is 700 rubles. + Audioguide 250 rub. A very beautiful collection of sets of precious metals, Faberge eggs, icons and more. As well as the Shuvalov Palace itself. Be sure to take an audio guide. There are no explanations for exhibits, except for the number. There are brochures with descriptions in each room, but they are not enough for everyone. There are a lot of visitors.

It is better to see it live once, not a single photo can convey this beauty, color, luxury!

A place that you absolutely must visit in St. Petersburg, very intimate. The beautiful interiors harmonize with the breathtaking display. The museum itself is not large, just a few rooms but thanks to this you can spend more time on individual exhibits and their history.

The museum is apparently new and very interesting. If you want to learn more about the work of Faberge, I recommend visiting. Be sure to take an audio guide.

Interesting villa, on the same level as Yusupof Palace, but smaller. The collection of Faberge Eggs is limited, but considering that most of those eggs are not in Russia anymore I guess it's ok.

I really liked the museum. Beautiful, expensive, rich! I liked the availability of books in different languages with a description and history of each exhibit in the museum. For large visits on any day of the week for free. One minus is absolutely nowhere to park the car, but this has nothing to do with the museum.

Overlooking the Fontanka canal and not far from the Anichkov bridge this small museum collects many of the eggs made for the tsars by the famous jeweler. Very beautiful
