I was in town to visit my wife while she is on a clinical rotation. I needed an oil change and saw this place on Google Maps. The bubble on Google Maps said that an oil change would cost $19.95. I pulled into the changing station and said that I wanted to know how much this would cost before we started. The attendants did not ask me what type of oil change that I wanted other than if I wanted conventional or synthetic. I responded that I wanted conventional. The attendant put a couple of things into the computer and quoted me a price of $42 and some change. That is over double the price advertised online. Keep in mind that I have a very small car. I drive a 4 cylinder 2007 Honda Civic with a 1.8 liter engine. I told the attendant that the price would not work for me. One of the other attendants mumbled to the one that seemed to be in charge but I could not make out what he said but I am fairly certain that he wanted the other guy to offer me another price. The attendant in charge shook his head and I went on my way.

My experience here was terrible. You can expect to be shamelessly upsold when you get your oil changed but you shouldn't be turned away because you refuse premium service. I was especially angry because the only reason I went was because I saw a good price advertised online. I would go somewhere else to get my oil changed.

On Saturday, October 5 I visited the downtown Birmingham location (on University Blvd) for an oil change. Several months before I had gone there for an oil change as well and the next time I had tried to open the hood (to clean out some leaves), I couldn't get the latch to work. I explained this to the gentlemen at the location on Saturday and, after taking a quick look, they determined they'd have to put it up onto the rack to get under it and see if they could figure out where the loose connection was. I'd like to clarify that there was no way of really knowing what happened for the connection to come undone. It very well could have just come loose during normal driving. However, without any question, the employees took a look, fixed the problem, then got my oil change done. On top of not charging for the time it took them to fix it, they noticed I was a student and gave me the student discount on the oil change. Because there was no way of knowing what happened (and I certainly don't blame it on any problem during the previous oil change), it would have been well within the rights of the location to charge for their labor, but I really appreciate that they did what they could to help a student out, not only being fair, but being generous! In particular, the manager took the lead in helping out. It often seems difficult to find a service center who you can trust, so I'll definitely return to this one!

Charlie was great. My oil change was quick and easy. I appreciate the how professional Charlie was and how thorough he was.

Friendly, professional, very knowledgeable and honest. A very hard to find combination these days! We have been there for tire changes and repairs with a Honda Odysee, a Mercedes ML320 and Junior's old Datsun ZX280. Philip and his team are awesome! Philip seems to know everything about cars and the cost of repairs have been very reasonable. He just helped me out with a repair where only a O-ring had to be replaced while the "Specialized BMW/Mercedes shop" wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for replacing whole units instead of replacing a simple o-ring. These guys really know what they are doing! Highly recommended!!!!

They got my tire patched quickly and I was back on the road within 30 minutes. They did an excellent job for me!

Just moved here and was nervous about finding a trustworthy place to change my oil. I was pleasantly surprised with this place. Great customer service, in and out without much of a wait and they didnt try to pressure me about additonal work. Best oil change experience ive had. Will be coming back, thank you!

Great people at this location. Fixed my wife's vehicle that we had bought parts for. They fixed it for cheaper than the parts cost us and we were able to return them.

These folks are always quick, always great service. Not just for oil changes, but for mechanic work as well. Great place for all - around car service!
