Excellent care, attentive to my needs and issues, with excellent follow up

The receptionist was friendly, and our wait time was very minimal, about 20 minutes. The Physician Assistant Brooke was excellent, she was attentive, and did a very thorough job of diagnosing my wife s symptoms After several test, she was not comfortable writing a prescription for us and sending us home. She referred us to St. Josephs Hospital South for a CAT scan. After additional testing, my wife was properly treated, and released several hours later. Thank you Brooke, and Express Care Seffner.

I was pleased with the cleanliness of the office and the room. I appreciated the care and information they gave me. 2 days later I am already feeling better.

READ , READ, READ!!! I went here because i needed care immediately , i paid a $60 co pay and only spent about 3 minutes with the doctor. They misdiagnosed me and prescribed me the exact same medication that my previous doctor prescribed me. I called and politely asked them to prescribe me something else , everyone was extremely rude. They seemed like scammers, it seems they misdiagnosed me just so i can pay another co pay to them. When i call they tell me , come back in to get checked out again, just so i can pay them more money. And the lady who said she tested me is now supposedly the manager. DONT GO HERE IF YOU ARE NOT TRYING TO THROW AWAY YOUR MONEY AND BE MISDIAGNOSED

Went in for a painful heel, and found out I had a bone spur.

Fast, courteous service, great with kids, and they have an x-ray machine.

Told my husband he just needed some R&R , despite his massive weight loss and obvious poor health . I then took him to the hospital to find out he had Stage IV Kidney cancer. The young NP at this facility has a LOT to learn .

Great Staff, Dr. Rahman actually listened and administered great care to my immediate need. With no Insurance I was self pay & they were very upfront about costs, no surprises at all. My blood pressure was very high & they gave immediate care & helped get it under control before I left. Would recommend them without hesitation.

Awful, awful place! Stay very far away. The Dr Spent MAYBE 3 minutes in the room. I am in worse shape today than when I went in. Run as fast as you can away from this facility.

There's nothing about this place thats express. When I walked in the door the lady at the front let out a big grunt because someone else was walking in. I asked how long of a wait there might be and she looked at me and how do I know. I just left.

My husband took me to express care of Tampa after I fractured and dislocated my finger earlier in the day. We had originally stop at Bay Care Urgent Care, but they said we would have an hour and a half wait so we headed here. We waited for maybe 15 minutes, were cared for quickly and the staff was very personable. We will definitely go straight here when we need urgent care.

9 year old son was seen quickly and we received care we needed..

Very nice people there. Personable. The doctor was so friendly and nice. He listened to my grandaughter and me, and did what worked best for her. Awesome. Wish he had an office somewhere, that accepts my grandaughters insurance. He would be her doctor! He had the best personality, I've ever seen in a doctor. Loved him.

Despite having to pay $125 even with insurance, the staff was friendly and caring as I had an ear infection that was bothering me for 4 days and I couldnt see my regular doctor until a week, and I didnt want to have to wait a whole week and live with the pain. So I was prescribed ear drops, and when I went to my pharmacy to get them they told me they were out of stock. I became VERY angry and cried and went back to that office crying explaining my situation. So they suggested trying another pharmacy so I did, and they even called that pharmacy to ensure that they had those ear drops in stock. I know any doctor could have done that, but I'm very thankful for the doctor who prescribed them to me as they are healing my ear. It is not completely healed yet, but it doesnt hurt like it used to and there is no sudden pain and it doesnt hurt to belch anymore (LOL) despite the bad day I was having, I had a great experience! Thank you so much

Cons: I was seen by Dr. R. On first impressions, he seems fine but the more he talked, it became clear that he wasnt the best. He even went so far as to say I was just pulling symptoms off of google and not experiencing them at all, which was deeply offensive. Then he ended it with saying that theres nothing wrong or that its in my head or caused by anxiety.

I really dont know how to exactly encapsulate the experience, just that it was negative and some of the things he said were entirely inappropriate. He literally tried to tell me theres no pain/discomfort in my legs... Like i wouldnt have say so on that fact over him. It was bizarre.

Very thankful for the wonderful care received at Express Care of Tampa Bay. I had a very sick little one and the staff there were so kind and concerned with getting his high fever down.
They will be my go to place for after hours care.

This was a very nice urgent care facility. The wait was ok it was about a hour or so. The one thing I loved was the rooms each have a fire stick TV! So you can pass time watching movies until the Dr comes to see you. Everyone was very friendly and went above and beyond to figure out what was wrong with me.

The "PA" was horrible. Totally miss diagnosed my child's illness and wanted to send her home with Advil for massive hives all over her. She ended up passing out in his room with him in it and he did nothing. My husband caught her as she fell off the table! Ambulance was called and she was taken to the ER. The PA could barely speak English and was taking to us in two languages. We are white and only speak English so he wasn't confused on what language we spoke. It was a horrible experience and would never want anyone to go here

Long wait to get in despite it wasn't busy, however, once we got in the medical care was excellent and it went fast.

If I could give this facility a ZERO star rating - I would. They moved to a nice new location, and I had been a regular when they were located in the Walmart plaza with NO issues, ever. However today I had a run in with a completely incompetent and disrespectful doctor - if you can even call him that. I arrived prior to the doors being unlocked; 8:58. I walked inside at 9:02 and proceeded to wait in the lobby for half an hour. At 9:30 they walked me back to a room and told me the DR would be right In. However, at 10:15, after almost an hour waiting with NO communication from the support staff - I got dressed and attempted to get my visit cancelled since they had clearly forgotten about me. Of course as soon as I go to wok out, he magically shows up and request for me to come back in the room to be seen. I spent all of two minutes expressing my condition with him ( Which I ve dealt with for over two decades) , and this doctor tried to tell me that I had something that I knew I did not have - and refused to give me a script for anabiotic s, which is all I ever need from This walk-in (ITS THE ONLY REASON IVE EVER COME AND THEY HAVE IT IN MY RECORDS). I then called him out for his unprofessional tardiness, lack of communication, and I told him that he had a horrible bedside manner....this man really started to raise his voice & threaten to kick me out of his office because I asked for his name to report him what a piece of work. I hate to be stereotypical, but since he flat out refused to give me his name and then threatened to call the sheriff if I didn t leave the office, I have no choice but just to describe him as an ugly old Indian man with Huge pores & a horrible bedside manner. I ve never had a doctor show up two hours late and then have the AUDACITY to scream at a patient and threaten to call the cops on them because they CHOSE to treat a patient poorly. I will NEVERRRRR come back to this center, and if you value having a doctor that respects you - I suggest you stay far away as well

I have never been to this location, however it seems that whenever the office staff responds to a negative review, they do reveal a lot about the visit and enough about the patient. If I can figure out who most of these patients are just from your responses without looking at the names, you all may be in violation of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996. Attending a ce on this is probably required by most professionals in your office. Usually for us pharmacy technicians we have to complete 5 ce hours on this subject matter. The only reason that I am even commenting is because I was looking for an urgent care doctor or p.a. to prescribe antibiotics for a broken tooth until I can get into my dentist office. I cannot, in good conscience, support a company that does not protect the personal identifiable health information of it's patients.

The worst place ever. First of all my child got wrong diagnosis and end up in ER 2 years ago when they were located at the Walmart plaza. Since then I have never visited this place. This time I decided to go there with a regular cold just to make sure everything is ok. Ohhhh I regretted. I arrived around 9.15 they told me that the doctor ALWAYS gets there at 10 am. So, my question is why then you guys are open from 9am ???? The quality of service is very poor. I got prescribed medication, that I got a bad side effect. After calling my PCP, he said that they prescribed me a heavy antibiotics and cough medicine for a just a cold. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Drive extra 5 or 10 miles but go to a better professionals !!!! The only good thing about this place is a front desk.

The office was not busy and I was seen fairly quickly. This was my second visit as the medication first prescribed did not clear up my throat infection. The PA, Kerrie Ford, prescribed another antibiotic. The medical staff are all very helpful and courteous.

I have no idea how they have almost five stars DO NOT go here. Rude staff lady at the front desk is so rude. The doctors assistant was dumb as a rock didn't know anything and also sent me to the wrong pharmacist when they know I'm in crucial pain

The medical staff is competant so no worries there. The wait to see the physician seemed long considering there were very few patients there to be seen. What prompted a poor review is that they made me pay the full visit price when I came in when all I should hve been charged was a $6 copay. They then filed my insurance and got their reimbursement and I am still waiting after 3 months for them to reimburse me $242 when they said that it would take them 6-8 weeks to issue a refund. When I called to enquire why I have not yet received the refund, I was told they would message their main office and I should get the refund in another 3 weeks and that if I didn't get it then, I could call and speak to a manager. When I asked to be transferred to a manager because this is already far too long to wait for a refund, I was put on hold and then transferred to an automated voicemail system. REALLY??? This is unacceptable! I won't be going back.

Dont waste your time or money!!. I went to urgent care feeling run down with body aches and general feeling of being sick I was asked if I was having a hard time breathing and I answered yes.

PA (NATHAN) checked my blood pressure, temperature, lungs/breathing & my throat.
He saw no signs of infection. I was prescribed Antibiotics (with no Infection) and Ventolin with supposedly no wheezing.

I asked about a prednisone pack and he told me he only prescribes those when there is wheezing or pain, so I guess he thinks my body aches are not pain and the ventolin is not for wheezing. Go where they really want to make you better and not just give you prescriptions to make it look good.

Now I will have to go to another doctor in the morning who will treat my symptoms and not say one thing and do another...

I went to the office yesterday just before they closed. I called them first and the staff said please come we will see you. This was a Humiliating experience I left in tears in front of . my 16-year-old son I have never been treated more like an animal in my whole life. I was Scolded by the front office staff interrogated about my insurance like I was a criminal I am a very wealthy business owner I have many locations I do not need to be interrogated or humiliated I pay my bills I pay my taxes and I had no problem paying if they wanted me too. I hosted my son s 16 birthday party and waited for all of the guests to leave so I could get medical care. I Presented my insurance card and this is not the first time I ve had an issue with this particular office staff. I informed her that if she could not verify that my deductible was met I would pay any amount that she wanted just to see someone and then she could refund me on Monday because it s the flex spend therefore I ve met my deductible my insurance would make them refund me. It really was not a big issue she then proceeded to yell at me in front of my son who has autism and made him extremely nervous I had such so I throat I just could not tolerate it so I was going to leave and she said how dare you come here and think that you can just leave after I had to go through all this to verify your insurance then the physician came into the office did not even touch me did not look at my throat asked me what my problem was into hurry up because he s off the clock and he works at two different hospitals and doesn t have time for me! Being a professional and any kind of medical field the number one thing to remember is customer service your patient is a customer. We are vulnerable and we are there to seek medical care to be yelled at and to be told that they don t have time for us is not anyway to treat any sick human my business will no longer be going to this clinic I will take my business elsewhere. I have been coming to this clinic because I believed in the staff members to be treated with such disrespect and humility in front of my child brings me to tears I am so hurt I could never ever walked in there again. I don t want any apologies I want nothing to do with that I just felt by posting that the people should know that there is certain people that work in this particular office that need to learn people skills it s very important especially to be a successful clinic. Where I come from the medical Professionals number one priority is mindfulness medicine and treating the whole patient whether it s ER or internal medicine . I am sad that I will no longer go to this clinic I have a Lot of Respect still for the owner as I am a business owner myself all I can say is good help is hard to find in any field.

Worst place went their and I did not get cured seems like they dont have good doctors in their I would not recommend this place to anybody.I have to pay again and go to a different doctor now

The doctor and nursing staff were so pleasant! They were very thorough with my examination, explanation of diagnosis, and medication provided.

Dr was quick and explained everything, what he was giving me and why. I'll be back, hopefully not soon. No offense.

I would recommend to all. The medical provider is wonderful., Kirk s 35 years of caring for patients says it all. I wish he could could be my primary care doctor. Thank you so very much!

I appreciate this clinic and staff and Dr. Rahman immensely. Efficiency at the front desk/check in ! The MA also was efficient, listened to my issue,measured my vitals correctly, and reviewed verbally my meds. I was seen within a very reasonable amount of time once I was in the exam room. The clinic is clean! The physician listened to my complaint, examined my injury and discussed with me his concerns, rx , and treatment plan. Highly recommend this clinic.

I went there today for a concern of my skin, however, they found a more extreme underlying issue and helped me out. The nurses and doctor was very informative and helped me out immensely! I would recommend this place to everyone!

I love this place a lot. Staff and doctors are very professional. I have visited apollo beach location too but this new location is more convenient. All doctors here are very professional and considerate. I just walk in anytime and gets the best care in no time.

Dr Kirk Smith was great. Luckily there was no wait time !! In and out in 45 minutes, and semi parking at Walmart . Great experience.

I am unsure of where to begin, but the entire visit was a fiasco from start to finish. Firstly, I value punctuality, thus I was at the office shortly after they opened - in hopes I would be in and out, since there was only a couple people in front of me. Not the case... I ended up waiting for a half hour in the lobby, right after opening with basically no line. Then we got moved into a smaller room where we continued to aimlessly wait to be seen... To make it clear, I am fully understanding of how walk in clinics operate, but there is no excuse for being open for an hour and a half, prior to a single doctor arriving to see patients - that is just unacceptable. There was no communication from the office staff, simply left us for the duration of the wait , with no time frame in mind of when he would show up. He did eventually show up, but we spent all of five minutes (I m being generous) together, and he was very short considering we waited so long to see him. Secondly, if it wasn t for my very restrictive insurance plan, I would ve walked out along with a patient that the doctor had an argument with out in the *public* hallway(hippa? still highly distasteful either way). I was appalled that he even had the audacity to go back and forth with a patient; It felt like something out of an episode of reality TV, I still cannot wrap my head around a doctor screaming at a patient like that, whilst having a full waiting room nonetheless. The responsible and mature thing to do, would ve been for the Doctor to end the conversation, not to begin screaming and making a mockery of the practice... Such a shame really that they built such a nice facility, to soil it with an absolute egomaniac of a doctor. Dr Ramen(sp?) is who was specifically carrying on with the other patient, in case anyone else would like to avoid that specific doctor and not have to remove themselves from the entire facility, good luck to all xx

Was on vacation 1250 miles from home, was bitten by a vicious little bug and they were a saviour for my itchy, swollen legs and arms. Fast and courteous would recommend.

Do yourself a favor and stay away!!!! Wasted $50 on a copay just for the doctor to tell me to go to the ER. I had to argue to get her to take an X-Ray here even though I called in prior to coming and told them my situation! She does not seem confident in anything she says, not to mention she said they don't have the ability to do much here anyways. Why have an urgent care that can't handle urgent matters!? Seems like a money making scheme to me.

You guys are horrible I went there twice I tore my Meniscus And the doctor told me it was just swollen because I stood on it too long I went to a different doctor and he did maybe 10 minutes of testing saw the mobility of my knee and saw it was not supposed to slide around like it did he immediately knew that It obviously was not normal and scheduled me to get an MRI and wouldn t you know it I had a torn meniscus and a torn ACL and your doctor told me it s fine it just looks swollen that s why it hurts and you guys prescribed me ibuprofen when I obviously already bought some to help me with the swelling! my other doctor was furious because of the ignorance and careless diagnosis this guy judges you based on how you look and how old you are not about the pain you walk in with he s a moron Don t try and act like you guys are so nice I told the doctor I was in a lot of pain my knee was swollen like a grapefruit told him I twisted it playing football and he still had The audacity to tell me that I was not in that much pain that it s only swollen because I have been on my feet too long....... so not the fact I twisted and fell but because I stood all day long and then he tells me there s no way your in that much pain

Waiting on them to call with blood work results. Claimed they called twice, Funny that I had not left my house for 5 days waiting for their call. Not one call from them on the caller ID either.
