If it isnt flooded. This is a great place to walk. My girlfriend and I do this if we skip gym day

Mostly for kids but great if you like to get in with mama.

Fun learning experience for both kids and adults. Creative exhibits and interesting shows are available for all ages.

First time going. I had a great time with my son. Lots of activities.

Really cool exhibits. Learned a lot about Kansas and it's history. Very interactive, especially for kids. Reasonable pricing as well

I love their KEVA room it really is wonderful and brings out the kid in me. And people say that their gift shop is expensive and it is kind of but thats only because of how good their toys are.

I had a great time here. They have fun brain games, movies, and castle. I had a blast in the castle surprisingly because of their distorted mirror. Could not so laughing at myself in the mirror. 100% would recommend going.

I have two young kids that love this place. They have rotating exhibits that usually seem to be very well done. My daughters especially love playing and exploring in the large medieval styled castle and kids play area. Worth it in my opinion to get a membership.

Had a great time here making gingerbread houses with my family for Christmas. Didnt have much extra time for exploring but want to go back when I can.

Entertainment kids and adults a lot of variety and learning

Fun place to bring young kids for an afternoon of creative hands-on activities. If you're a Wichita-area resident, I highly recommend the family membership. If you have a family and plan to go more than twice a year, a membership is the way to go. Warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Probably one of the best places to bring kids to teach and let them explore different things. The staff is amazing and friendly. If your not aware on what you should do ask the staff they'll explain the sections your in.

It's always a great place to take the kids. They change exhibits often enough to wear a membership wouldn't necessarily be a waste of money but you have to make sure you keep track of when the events occur so you don't miss out

Exploration Place is Wichita's premier science center. It is a great place to visit as a family with interactive, traveling exhibits for all ages and incredible Omni Max films covering facinating topics from dinosaurs to deep sea life and astronaut training. During the Summer months, EP offers day camps for elementary through middle school students. My son attends every Summer and loves the graphic design and under water robotics. Enjoy

Worth the yearly membership if you live in Wichita.

I was so disappointed. I brought my autistic son here to experience the exhibits, the trains (which he loves - but, NOT HERE!) and the movies, and the only place he found enjoyable was the gift shop. I thought I would be able to make this place a monthly visit for him, but we won't be coming back.

Such an awesome place for kids and adults!! The prices are so fair. We were there from open to close. Can't wait to go back!

Expo Place is always a favorite with the little kids. Safe place to run (walk) and explore. Lots of imagination and engagement. Plus I got a front row parking spot

It was pretty good. Not a lot of exhibits for each age group but at least one good for each age. Not near as big or as many exhibits as the one in Kansas City that costs less.

I have 4 kids ranging 10-3 and they all love coming here. We've been coming since our first was a toddler. Their favorite is always the castle no matter what the exhibit is. They would stay there all day if I let them.

I've enjoyed the many fantastic exhibits at Exploration Place over the years. I took my daughter to just about everything as she was growing up. It's a wonderful place for children and parents to bond and a treasure in our community.

They have lots of cool exhibits and host some great events, like the Maker Faire.

Good way to spend a Saturday. Dome Theater is amazing.

Its great for kids imagination and during winter months a way to wear everyone out.

family membership is definitely the way to go. Stop by for an hour anytime you feel as reward for the kids anytime you need some extra motivation for them. All year round educational indoor playground !

A neat experience if you are looking for something to do with kiddos. The Exploration Place has fantastic and friendly staff. The exhibits are interesting and have something for all age levels.

I think it's cursed.
I was having a good day until I got there, and then promptly locked my keys in my car. Fortunately enough I was able to get them out with the help of a locksmith. However the day did not really improve. If you have a family with small kids, I'm sure it's an interesting place to visit. But as a single adult traveling alone, it is a bore. I wanted to get into the flight simulators and I couldn't, they were full of kids. I wanted to walk quietly through the hallways and observe the exhibits. I couldn't it was full of kids. This is a family-friendly facility, and for that reason I give it a high a rating as I do. It is not often that you find decent place to take family anymore. But unless you are interested in an IMAX movie , I actually do not recommend it.

Great place for the family to come learn and have fun. Check out the live science shows, they are free with admission. Their dome shows are the cheapest anywhere around and you get a superior product.

Took 3 grandkids and they had a blast for 3 hours. They really liked the Dome theatre. Thanks for a good time on a rainy day.

Visited with my grandchild. She had a blast. I took lots of pictures and made a photo book out of it. She still talks about it half a year later. Must have made an impression because I forgot all about it. Interestingly she went with her school class before but they were herded thru at a pretty fast clip. She wanted to play in the castle area! So, that's where gran and her spent most of our time! :)
