After over 2 years managing this location I was let go for Insubordination . My stores customer service scores were in the top percentile. The day I was let go my store was #9 in the company. I was approached July 10 and told I needed to be trending 100% in all my goals by the 20th I would be let go based on the numbers provided (which were so far from accurate) part of this performance improvement plan required me to close 2 days a week. The following Friday and Saturday I was scheduled as a salaried manager until 820pm. With 3 people closing I did what I had done the previous 2 years and let right at 8pm. It had never been communicated this was an unacceptable behavior. I was scheduled those 2 days at 1140am, but went in at about 920 on Friday and 1030 on Saturday to dedicate myself to hitting the required numbers. Being available to coach and support my team. After being dismissed I was present with write ups that had never been presented to me, not signed by me and a handful of reasons for my dismissal. I suggest finding a different retailer, or a corporate store! Tmobile has AMAZING vision and values, this company however does not support that. When you are not doing well you will be threatened with your job. You will not receive coaching and support from upper leadership. It will be communicated to you that you are replaceable and there is always someone next in line and that is how the cell phone industry goes .
