I m not really a club guy but for whatever reason I just love this spot! It s gotta be the DTLA location, Art Deco architecture and just the great vibe of the people in it. So many great memories!

Came here on a regular weeknight. Walked in and was greated and seated right away by the bartender. Dual role? place is cool, super low vibe, i feel like it should be 100 degrees and I should be wearing a tank top and sandals smoking cigarettes with a machete on the table. Anyways the waiter was adorable, she was incredibly friendly.

This place gets way too packed over capacity, to the point you can t even dance. I ve been to many raves/festivals where attendance is by the thousands and have never had this issue. It s a safety hazard. Great artist play here but they need to regulate the amount of people entering the venue.

It's not avalon that's for sure. Too small and easy to trip inside. Too many stairs. The area for smoking is too small. The bouncers are a joke. Where the bathrooms are located is not a ideal location.

Was there yesterday. Nothing other than the crowded space made it a bad experience it just wasn't that great. The DJ had no energy and the crowd had no energy. Perhaps it was just a bad night but that is what reviews are for.

I had the most amazing nightclubbing experience! It was better than the other clubs in my town. We booked at this club for our special gatherings with my colleagues, and they treated us well. We had great spots and felt very safe and protected. The staff was always very respectful and fun. Worth it!

It was pretty awesome, this is the best nightclub to go to if you want a themed night (look up the themes beforehand they're pretty out there). They have a main stage and 2 other rooms for music including one that has a stage that played hip hop. They should get a bigger location, their themed parties are the best.

Love the Historic building location! Great sound & lighting, however...they lack adequate outdoor space for fresh air. The only offering is a "cattle pen" out back filled with smoke...Nowhere to get a breathe?

Probably the best club in LA for an edm event. Although sound and visuals got an update, the space overall is still cramped. I would recommend going around 10:30 to 11 if you don't want to stand in line for long and make it in to catch the main act before they go on.

Is a good place but when drinks are 16 to 18 dollars....hnmm is a bit too much for a drink.... The security staff are DB, they think they are God's gifts. Little do they know they depend on us loyal customers...... Clubs come and go nowadays.

This is a club, not a venue. certainly draws a crowd, but if I can hear the conversation behind me at a dub step show right underneath the speakers, then the bass is not at a respectable level. So again, for anyone wanting to see a bass heavy show here, best not. 2 stars for awesome light show... but I didn t come here for the the lights, Came for the music.

I came here twice so far. The first time was on a Friday and because we were on the guestlist, we arrived around 10:30. First off, the music was sooooo dope (which is why we chose to come a second time). Although the music was fantastic in both rooms (hip hop/top 40/old school r&b), the place was pretty empty. I'm all for empty crowds sometimes, but I just couldn't understand why it was so damn hot in there. There was zero air circulation in the far back room, and it turned us all off from wanting to dance on the dance floor. We ended up leaving shortly after to avoid sweating off our faces and frizzy hair.

great club. awesome atmosphere. pricy on drinks but what do you expect from a nightclub in the middle of DTLA? otherwise, the staff inside is friendly and the security are also fair. lines do move a little slow on busy nights but overall always a good night here

An interesting hybrid; an LA club that feels like a rave seems an appropriate description. Despite several reviews to the contrary, security (while very on top of it and thorough) was not rude or unpleasant in the least. The venue itself does NOT disappoint; gorgeously atmospheric, early 20th century architecture, lots of areas to explore, and manages to somehow give you breathing room even with a packed dancefloor. Would I go again? Yup, with the right act performing... The people my friends and I interacted with weren't pretentious, and the place had a pretty open vibe, which is a definite bonus... On the flip side, however, minus a star because some of the patrons seemed less than savory and I personally would have been paranoid if I had my wallet in my back pocket (I'm talking about you, girl with the obviously found or stolen device in line who asked me to help figure out its connectivity...).

So it's been awhile since I've attended this club ...

So it's been awhile since I've attended this club and I came for the Duke Dumont set. I purchased a VIP ticket which included my entrance, access to all floors, 3 premium cocktails and unlimited water and red bulls until 2 a.m. which I figured was a good deal. When I arrived the first room near the entrance was cool, we grabbed our drinks and water there. When we went to the main floor the bartenders would not give us water and said we had to go to upstairs VIP to get water which was weird considering the first room served us.
We get upstairs and they seriously sold so many VIP entrances it definitely did not feel like VIP. it was cramped like the GA floor, we were getting yelled at by security to clear a walk way when we were waiting for drinks and nowhere else to stand. We got to hang in a booth for a min until someone bought it and when it was purchased, this older lady came in and yelled at us saying "you guys need to get out now! C'mon, let's go, right now" and my friend was looking for her jacket and as she was looking this rude older woman yelled at her and said "you need to go!"even after my friend said she was leaving but was just looking for her jacket, and the older woman said "I dont care this booth had hern sold!" I told her she didnt need to be so rude that we're not stalling, we're collecting our stuff and if she'd be more helpful I stead of being rude she could shine a light and help the process. She looked tired, over worked and miserable so maybe she took it out on us. Anyway I was disappointed on how crowded they allowed the VIP area to be considering I paid over 100 bucks for my wristband. Which i would never do for a downtown night club. I couldn't even really see Duke dumont , of course i enjoyed his music but i think VIP experiences should be for people who are genuinely there for the artist and the want to enjoy the experience, but this place is clearly money hungry cause they waaaayyy over packed the place. We eventually found our way to Tue 4th floor and it was much more pleasant. But I really doubt I will come here again for another big headliner. Glad I got to hear Duke Dumont though.

I drive from San Diego to get a good show!! Venue is enormous!! and the stage area is big enough for all to see. If you dont feel being floor level there is a little room up stairs between the VIP's! bars at every corner. Awesome! i believe its 18+ but the demographic is wide range and all races!! never disappoints!

Let me start by saying I'm not a high brow person ...

Let me start by saying I'm not a high brow person and I will never pretend to be. This place tries way too hard to be "the club of LA."

No club will ever be worth waiting as long in line as I had to for this. Not to mention the fact that if you are a guy, you WILL pay. No matter what. Like, I had a friend DJ-ing this and was supposed to get in for free, but the bouncers were "gracious" enough to only ask to charge me for half of the whole cover charge (which apparently varies on who you are and what group you show up with between $40-$50, a higher amount if you show up by yourself as a guy, or with a group of just guys). Furthermore, why the heck does a club charge this much if they can't even get an actual credit card machine? Do I really have to pay $3 at your ATM to get the cover to get in your club? The answer is no. Because no club is worth this amount of BS.

Club culture profits from making part of or everything feel exclusive, when the truth is: you're in a big room with loud music that you could go anywhere for. People, save your money and go to Bootie LA. It's $10, and the best crowd and music you'll experience for some real fun. But hey, if you're insecure enough about your personal life to feel like you have to drop over $100 in one night at one place to affirm that you had a good weekend, that's you're own business.

Events are great but they never seem to have the AC on. It's always super humid with not a lot of "fresh" air. Probably why they don't offer free water. It could defintely improve if they fixed these 2 things or at the least provide water even if its tap

They pack this place too much and you can t move around let alone enjoy yourself. There is one restroom with only two stalls and you lucky to get into one after an hour. Cooke venue but not enough room or amenities for the amount of people they pack in there. Definitely need to lower capacity if they want to make it enjoyable at all.

Had a really fun night at their Britney night event. Dropped in for only a couple hours, cover was $15. Cheap overall, quick bartenders, decent price. The music they play and the set up makes Bootie very interactive and good for just having a good time. Good place to just hang with friends and enjoy the music (although their transitions could really use some work).

Exchange LA is one of the better clubs in LA. Although it still has some of the pretentiousness of most LA clubs, the space itself is beautiful and spacious and the architecture itself is pretty cool.

One note, try to come early if you're on a guestlist for a main DJ. 30 minutes usually doesn't cut it (we didn't get into an Arty event until an hour and a half wait) although females, like most clubs, will get the better deals than guys.

The main dance floor is bigger than most LA club venues with enough space to move around and not feel squished and the lighting not feeling too dark. The music is loud and popping with an upper VIP area that is easy to access and still see the main act. Drinks are fairly normally prices (+$10 for most drinks). Parking-wise, aim for the lots on adjacent streets for about $5-$10 parking on regular nights.

Likely the best run club I have visited in some time. Given the number of people, trash and bottles policed well, restrooms maintained, charismatic staff (well the guys at the door have to project some degree of no-nonsense) but the bar staff and table staff all excellent. And the venue itself dazzles, stupendous sound and lights. It is moderately pricey but worth every dollar for special occasions for a night out in downtown LA.

And the two times I have visited, loved the crowd mix. I did not see one over served our obnoxious patron, great range of ages. Everyone having a great time.

Interesting venue, definitely a club feel over a concert hall... great audio/video, but a little loud for my taste (maybe I'm getting old, hah). Place has a dress code... something worth knowing before going.

I come here for Awakening Fridays when I'm not too tired to go out or when my friend bugs me to go.

If you show up early then hit up Syrup across the street for some waffles and coffee.

My favorite EDM club with crappy reception unless you have an iphone5. Last time I went it was pretty ravey inside...which I hate...but I love the music and their laser light show is so cool. The venue could get pretty crowded but there's enough space to breathe if you get slightly claustrophobic. First floor is pretty chill with an outdoor smoking area, second floor has 3 different rooms (1 main stage, 1 with bar and another where you can sit and chat) and third floor you need a bracelet and you get a great view of the dj from above away from the crowd.

dress code: not strict, i usually wear something comfortable
parking: valet parking everywhere
drink: nothing that great, if you want something to get you drunk then ask for LA Water
crowd: lots of asians

note: The 2nd floor where the main stage is the best place to feel the music with the speakers bumpin. The top floor is great if you can't stand being in crowds.

random: facebook the movie was filmed here

I was able to get in without waiting too long, the place is very clean, sound was good. Although I ended up getting sick from drinking a bit much the security helped me out, gave me water and a place to wait for my friends after throwing up. Very kind and helpful!

Food is any substance[1] consumed to provide nutritional support for an organism. It is usually of plant or animal origin, and contains essential nutrients, such as carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, or minerals. The substance is ingested by an organism and assimilated by the organism's cells to provide energy, maintain life, or stimulate growth.

Historically, humans secured food through two methods: hunting and gathering and agriculture. Today, the majority of the food energy required by the ever increasing population of the world is supplied by the food industry.

Food safety and food security are monitored by agencies like the International Association for Food Protection, World Resources Institute, World Food Programme, Food and Agriculture Organization, and International Food Information Council. They address issues such as sustainability, biological diversity, climate change, nutritional economics, population growth, water supply, and access to food.

The right to food is a human right derived from the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR), recognizing the "right to an adequate standard of living, including adequate food", as well as the "fundamental right to be free from hunger".
