Excel Test Prep Review

I believe the SAT Practice Exam questions got simpler as we continued through the course so I do not think they reflected a very accurate depiction of my improvement. If the tests stayed at the same level of difficulty throughout the course I would be able to see more accurately how I improved.

Good review of reading, writing and essay. Divya the math teacher did not teach well and opted to go through the booklet in a rushed manner and did not help us at all.

Jared Vineyard runs a highly engaging and useful class. We learn through games sometimes and I can always expect to laugh and have a good time in his class. Also, he looks and talks a little like Jim Halpert from the office.

The teachers Are very interactive with the students through out the classes and they maintain a high educational standards

Excel test prep improved my SAT score by 110 points and made me more confident in my test-taking ability. The course was engaging with quality instructors and tips.

I've worked at Excel Test Prep for the last several years and have enjoyed every minute of it. This is a great group of people doing great work for Bay Area students.

I attended an SAT prep course with Excel, and I really enjoyed my time here. I gained valuable test-taking strategy which improved my Reading score! The teachers also made the class very interesting.

Please AVOID Excel if your Daughter/Son already score high on practice test. My kid attended and
Excel Material is useless if i compare to another Test prep classes in Fremont.
Don't expect teacher to see whether your kids are learning or not.
Most of them are having fun as Teacher have no control over the class.
Be ready to for their Marketing guys to enroll you for 1-1 once you asked above questions.
Find a 1-1 tutor or try some other class and DONT waste your money with Excel.

We had the WORST experience dealing with Excel Test Prep. They refused to give us a full refund for a course that hasn't started yet and were told we will be charged a $500 administrative fee! This company is all about money and not about teaching children. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. We signed my daughter up for the 8 week SAT Summer Camp and paid in full. We knew she would be missing a few days of camp and we wanted to be sure there was a way for her to make it up so before enrolling we read their makeup policy. The policy states: "If you need to miss a class for your Excel Test course, making up your absence is very easy! We allow live make-ups or online make-ups.". We called today to let them know the dates she would be missing and to confirm she would be allowed to make them up. We were told only part of the material for the days she missed would be available online. The program is very expensive and for the amount we were paying my daughter wasn't going to receive the full benefit of the program. We requested a refund with the intention of having her take the course at a later time. Because they refused to give a full refund, we will certainly not use them in the future.

I absolutely enjpyed the SAT Test prep at excel. Great teacher! Excellent tips and strategies. And I increased my score by 200 points. Awesome place to prepare for college!

This place is really good. The instructors really care about the students and want to insure that they succeed.

Good class for SAT prep, but you should probably do more preparation on your own time along side this and after your course because it may not be enough.

Excel has some very enthusiastic teachers that teach you many different techniques on how to do well on the SAT.

This course helped me improve my SAT score and provided useful tips and tricks that I would have never learned otherwise. Throughout the course, we took many practice exams that helped us get a feel for what the real exam is like. All of the tutors were great and made the class fun!!

I went into this class doubting that Excel would succeed in helping my score increase by 200 points. Surprisingly, by the end of this class, my score did increase. Excel teachers made the classes fun and enjoyable. This class was worth it and if you take it your score would no doubt increase.

Excel was definitely a less stressful program than I expected it to be. The exam club was definitely the most helpful part. The more I took practice exams the more I improved. Understanding the exam and going into the test confidently helped me succeed.

Excel Test was a wonderful facilitator to help me improve my SAT score. I improved by over 350 points on my SAT and all of the teachers were captivating!

I would really recommend using Exam Club to prepare for the SAT/ACT. It simulates an actual test environment where you can take and/or review past exams for 4 hours. This, along with taking the actual Excel course, will enable students to achieve high scores on their SAT/ACT tests.

The best (and only) SAT prep class I have taken. Its tips helped me raise my SAT score by over 200 points in the first week. The teachers (especially Andrew) are very friendly, helpful, and genuine.

Excel testing was definitely helpful, but not all teachers are as great as others. Would recommend it to others because it has helped a lot.

The Summer Intensive Program was really helpful in improving my SAT scores. It helped me understand the format of the test and provided different tips for test-taking.

It was very helpful and many of the tips helped me understand and complete questions that I wasn't able to do before. The material that was provided also gives a very helpful format for how to do well on all the different types of questions. A little more explanations on the writing sections would be helpful though.

Excellent SAT prep courses. My score went up and this option was cheaper than many other prep courses.

Excel test prep does a very good job in preparing for the SAT, especially in math and writing. Those in charge of Test review(for me it was Raman and Saumya) are very engaging and they genuinely care about students. However. The essay comments are very vague and preparation for Critical reading has room for improvement. Nevertheless, Excel test has a solid ciriculum in preparing for the SAT.

The advice is not unique but the practice tests were helpful. The review was also good but i would have liked to have a copy of the solutions for future reference.

I took the Sat class and I think it has so many helpful tips and tricks to make sure you'd finish faster and help you get you get a higher score. I really do think this program can help because it helped my score. They have many practice test and helps that will help you get a higher score

Excel has great teachers, rigorous material, and lots of additional resources to help their students succeed. If you re willing to do follow the curriculum and pay attention in class, their courses are definitely worth the money.

Jared is one of the greatest teachers next to Jesus. I very much recommend Excel prep for all sat prep and learning and hope that you get Jared for English.

I found excel to be really helpful in giving me the structure I needed to understand the SAT better. The best way to improve your score is to learn how the test works and to take lots of exams. Experienced, patient teachers and plenty of in-depth resources give you a strong foundation that you can build on at your own pace. Excel sets you up for success, so your main job is to take advantage of everything available to you. The classroom environment is engaged and friendly, which makes it easy to stay motivated and look forward to attending classes. Exam club was also extremely helpful for practice long after I had completed the course. I would highly recommend excel test prep--my score increased by around 400 points after taking the course

Adam is very chill, humorous, and entertaining. His tips are super helpful and he made the class interesting :) The course itself is very good and they provide a bunch of resources that we can use to further practice different concepts and prepare for the test.

Great SAT prep program, with amazingly knowledgeable teachers and lots of useful strategies. My favorite teacher was Madison who absolutely made the process enjoyable.

All of the members who taught me were engaged and willing to help. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs help on the SAT

Excel is awesome!!! The in class tests helped me build my endurance for the actual test; I got tips on how to answer critical reading questions, and that was really helpful.

I was able to learn a lot of tips and patterns that I would have never been able to figure out on my own. Teachers are great and helpful. The opportunity to do homework and tests and get them graded has been a tremendous help

Excel provided me the opportunity to learn about the SAT in a way that not only improved my score, but also improved my critical thinking and focus moving into college. I would advise all current students to take their courses seriously and engage with teachers regularly to get the most out of these courses.

I had Jared for the SAT reading workshop class and he was AMAZING! He kept the student engaged and made this part of the exam really interesting and fun.

Our teacher was Jared, he had a fun way of teaching class by bribing us with candy and playing games to spark our competitive side. My advice is don t think too much/stress about the tests as the things you learn in class will help you develop your way of thinking.

I really enjoyed all the teachers excel provided to me as a student. They were a great assistance for me especially as a student who struggled greatly on his sat score initially.

Excel test prep has an innovative way of teaching kids about the importance of the SAT and teaching us how to succeed on the SAT with useful techniques. Most of the teachers were helpful such as Jared and Andrew. Would recommend to any student studying for the SAT.
