THIS PLACE HURT 5 and 8 YEAR OLDS
I WANT THEM SUED!!!!!
I was there for 4 months and they NEVER touched me cause if they did,....... you don t even want to know they sent me against my will!

I wish there was a 0. (Review regarding Venice) Abusive, neglectful. Terrifying and traumatizing. It's been 7 years and am still suffering from PTSD from my experiences living there. Therapy guys...just please work with your children or foster kids or group home kids..find a healthy solution and just don't give up on them. Sending them here ..you don't realize the damage you will do. And if they do go here and come back a robotic angel..it's bc they are truly traumatized. Gauranteed

I give 5 stars to Mrs. Raquel. My child has been here now twice and we begged for my child to return because of Mrs. Raquel! She s a wonderful therapist and really finds common ground to build professional relationships with her clients. She s done an amazing job with getting my child to really open up more! My child has been placed in much worse facilities. So please keep in mind some other reviews are from children perhaps that didn t want to except the help that is offered or they were here a long time ago. I can only speak for myself and our experience and I don t have any complaints!

It will help if you let it! Both parents and Guardians have to want the help!

I worked for 2 weeks here. Breaking many NDA's right now but this needs to be done.

Doctors are doing dream therapy that going to deep. Spirits are being awakened and it needs to be stopped. Cant say much.. I hear them coming.

My 10 yrs Nephew is down there and had been there 6 or 8 month's and he said they are very good to him and he was getting the help he needed and he says that the psychiatrist was very good to him and becouse of her he was getting better and he said he thinks the world of her because she was good to him and she help him a lot I. Know one thing what we have saw from the place. They are absolutely amazing and I would recommend it to anyone it a little bit of a drive for us but even those it 4 hour drive one way I would go every day if it was allowed.but he said he was going to miss them when he get to go home but he said he could send them a card sorry some of you have had a bad experience But Thank God for the Excalibur Youth Service.

Lived here from 2006-2008. Abusive for profit system that fails more youth than it helps

These young people need more guidance from people that have actually been in a place like this, not just institutionalized for profits by people with degrees and no common sense.

Very abusive and my therapist was the only person that kept me sane. They put me with the younger girls because i wasnt violent. They were awful with restraints. I remember being on pod 600 and they slammed a girl to the ground from her bed. Awful placeplace. Fights persue and staff sometime will only watch.
