Ewing dinner, Me and friend went to Ewing dinner for lunch today and it was a good lunch .
So the food is good and the people are nice. Talk to you like a human being,
they treat you good.
And the prices are good they give you good Amount Of food too.
Is a good place to go and get something to eat.

I've always been satisfied eating here with family. The food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. I've only had one issue in the past with a waitress who had a southern accent who took the longest time just to bring a bottle of ketchup to the table, but other than her, all of their other servers are great. I would highly recommend eating here!

The "shiny diner" has good food and fast service. The place is always packed, but the wait is never that long. Recommended.

Awesome split pea soup. Salad crisp & fresh. Meatloaf with mushroom gravy, unbelievably full of flavor! Service (a nice lady named Vonnie) fast, courteous & fun! All priced incredibly low. 100% wonderful experience!

My go-to diner in the area, highly recommend the chicken and waffles.

Food was not good and I had a choice of pancakes or french toast and I chose french toast. When the waitress brought the meal I received the pancakes and the waitress blamed the cook instead of accepting her part of the error as well, after all, she took the order and therefore the plate should have not even left the kitchen. The eggs tasted metallic and the bacon was overcooked. The waitress was friendly but despite the breakfast experience causing me to lose my appetite I was still charged full price for the small portion of pancakes I did eat even though I wanted french toast which will result in me never coming back and this poor review.

Exceptional french toast! I ordered the New Ewing Diner breakfast special and the eggs were cooked to perfection, the bacon was the perfect blend of crispy and chewy and the staff friendly.

We will be back.

I occasionally eat here for lunch because of the proximity to my office . The food is pretty good/OK. Definitely not horrible. The service is good. Its usually crowded but no wait for seating. The acoustics are HORRIBLE!!! Its soo loud you can hardly hear yourself think. and at busy hours , we've had people standing alongside my table talking. I felt like i should slide over and offer them a seat at my booth! So if you're looking for a bit of relaxation with your meal,look elsewhere. Other than that, It's a fine stop.

Good diner food with some large servings. Mostly overpriced. You'd be pressed to find something less than 15.00. Masks and barriers in use. Update.... They have recently raised prices again there is also a 3% to-go service fee. If you are trying to save a few bucks and share one of the larger menu items there will be a 4$ sharing fee. (Reply to owner:) You might as well say that you're charging people for the soup, coleslaw and the pickle at those prices, yes you do have lunch specials but they're typically the least popular things off of your menu that most people don't typically order in my experience. Plus $12 for an omelette is still high. You attach restaurant to the end of your name to justify the fact that you charge restaurant prices as opposed to diner prices.

Classic good dinner, big menu, modest prices, generous portions, and prompt service.

The place is always packed but we never have to wait for a table. Typical jersey diner with huge menu and great lunch specials.

First time with 3 of my sisters , food delicious and waitress Miriam was very pleasant sweet spirit. I will visit again.

Ewing dinner is always good. I love that I don't have to have fries and can have fruit instead sometimes. I recommend you try it.

Absolutely loved the place. Staff is very friendly. Portions are big and perfectly priced. Would recommend a lot if you want to have a quick bite to eat. A lot of options to choice from. Very clean and lovely. Would recommend!

It's an inexpensive diner. The food was great! I ordered a philly cheese steak and it was pretty good. The staff provided very good service also.

They have the best coffee, and fresh fish and grits for breakfast

I put one star but It really deserve none the food was over price unsatisfying five dinners and only two barely edible at the end of the meal we were rush out with our check and our waitress forgot our dessert

Great service, good hot meals.. if you walk away hungry, it's your fault. Each sandwich after 12pm comes with a cup of soup, the cup is a bowl. Split pea soup is delicious.

One of the few diners to have grits.. good creamy grits too...very big plates of food...and truly the best burgers..

I went through a phase for a while frequenting diners in search of the best diner food. The service was not great. The decor is tacky. But the food was the best in his class. Hands down

Great diner close to the Trenton airport. Breakfast omelette selection (64 omelettes!) is huge. Food was well flavored and not over salted. Service was attentive. Would come back.

good eating...good service...the cinnamon raisin french toast was superb, no syrup needed...

Been to many diners around the area and can honestly say this one is below the rest. You d be better off heading down the road to IHOP, which is saying a lot. I ll just rattle off a few things I ve noticed...

Coffee is served lukewarm and in tiny cups more suitable for tea.
They re stingy with the sweetener and don t bring it unless you ask.
Toast isn t toast, it s slightly reheated bread.
Hash browns were basically flaked mashed potatoes with a slightly crispy top.
Bacon was comparable to something you d get at a breakfast buffet.
Everything seems pricier than others in the area.
They charge you a fee if you want to be healthy and share a meal.

Added a star because the eggs were good and the waffle was great (but over priced).

Had a Taylor Ham and cheese omelet that was awesome. Great staff and great service.

I love this diner! The french toast is the best diner french toast i have ever had. I used to eat here atleast twice a week before moving out of the area. I have never been disappointed by the service to date, everyone is so nice and friendly!

Solid diner food and experience. I ve mostly had breakfast or lunch here so can t speak to dinner. Great value for the quality (for me, this means well-prepared food, not greasy, hot coffee that tastes good, larger portion than I could ever eat but I know portion size is important to others) and cheerful service.

My sister invited me there breakfast since I was only in town for the day. Their cream of turkey soup really hit the spot!!

Even tho it seemed very busy, we were seated quickly and served in a timely manor. The food was good and prices reasonable, I'd go back.

My favorite diner. Even when I moved further away for three years I still drove 45 minutes for the service and the home fries.

Way overpriced for the quality of food. Nothing special about the hashbrowns. Corned beef or Pastrami are from the bottom of the barrel. Sandwiches are mediocre at best... better off heading to a deli or going to NY bagels next door

Good classic diner food. We had an awesome waitress. They are utilizing plexiglass dividers between booths.

Food was decent but service was horrible. Waitress gave us our food and basically the check followed 3 minutes later, never asked if we were finished, or if we wanted anything else, never got a refill on the drinks and couldn't even finish our meal due to not having drinks. Awful.
