Loving this company! Came here after years of dry van and reefer driving. I wasnt sure what to expect but this has been the best ive been treated in all my years of driving. They are polite, patient, and truly I have really enjoyed this experience. My paycheck is always correct and I get home when I ask.

One of the lowest, 2 faced, bottom feeding, cesspool companies on the planet. They claim to appreciate their drivers in public, but behind the scenes they are exactly the opposite. They record AND review phone calls between drivers and dispatch. On the glass fleet, Moore Freight was merged into Wylie's glass fleet by Daseke. They cut the trucks back to save MPG's, not just speed, but pulling power and idle time (our Macks would try to shut down while sitting at long red lights while it was in gear, brakes released). They put excessive restrictions on Personal Conveyance usage when bobtail. They cut our live load pay, but our live load frequency went up drastically. They cut off our Prepass so we had to pull into every open scale, wasting not only our drive time, but some of the precious fuel they saved by not letting us idle. They cut out letting us use cash for things like marker lights or scales(at locations that didn't accept our fuel card for scaling a load) unless we asked permission and got an authorization number. Any time anything went wrong, the driver was assumed to be responsible until he or she proved they weren't. They claimed that their policy was based on accountability, but in Wylie-speak, that seemed to be what they called holding the driver accountable for everything they could, so management had a scapegoat. When a driver leaves, they blame the driver's Driver Support Specialist (what they call a dispatcher) for not doing their job. Management won't take any responsibility for their anti-driver policies for their high driver turnover, it's always someone elses fault. RUN, don't walk away from these people...don't risk your career on these people.
I like E.W. Wylie. They're always flexible when it come time for me to get home for military duty. Dispatch got me home at a reasonable time when my son was in the hospital. Great company love the Red Peterbilt trucks. I'd recommend E.W. Wylie.
I worked there some odd years ago. Had no problems with getting miles or pay. Never liked big corps, I like to know who I work for, and this outfit always seemed to have more of a small business feeling to it. I put in my two weeks after finding a local driving job, and left on good terms. They told me I was welcome back. I thought they were an excellent company! If you do your job, they will treat you right!
