Went in the evening..
Nothing special... A trek to the bar across the dance floor...

I got beaten up here for no reason. I touched the light that stands very low under the bar the bouncer then twisted my arm 3 times.
The music was very good but I got beaten up for no good reason

Great funk and soul night here! PLEEEASE tell your lovely security though (and to ALL security) to at least smile or not take their roles too seriously. It s like dancing with miserable looking statues surrounding you and affects the vibe. They have soul too!

Beautiful tucked away little venue in South London! The first time I went was to see Arcane Roots play a few years ago, and I've been in love with this venue ever since!

Fantastic open mic nights on a Tuesday evening! Lovely and chilled atmosphere whenever you go! I can't recommend this place enough!

Great venue with beautiful interior, very high, light ceiling, lots of comfy places to sit. Drinks aren't too expensive either for this kind of place and the staff were really lovely. Sound was good as well. Was also nice that it is not directly on the high street, gives more private, secluded feel.

What a shame. This place has great potential to be a great music venue, big open space, great sound, but these guys clearly have little experience putting gigs on.

The security were so aggressive and highly strung, shining torches all over the place during a band's performance, harassing people for leaving their bags in the corner. I don't know if this came from their instructions, or if they're just bullies, but it completely ruined the vibe of the night, and for a gig is completely unnecessary.

The headline band's set, friends of mine, was also cut short by the sound man without warning. I've been to countless local gigs in London, and I've never seen this before. Usually a venue provides a cushion of half an hour or so to account for bands overrunning, as they inevitably will. Like I say, these guys clearly lack experience running shows.

As soon as the music was cut, blaring club music took over, and bands were forced to fight through chairs in the green room to collect their gear, and drunk crowds and lumbering security (who questioned why they were going back stage every time) to get away.

Will not be frequenting.
