A nice spot for a potty break while you walk down by the Evansville river front. They have a beautiful deck on top of the building to view the river. Very romantic. Anything you need to know about Evansville is there as well. A must go to if you are new around the Ville.

It is a nice air conditioned facility, that has a good amount of information about the things to do in the surrounding areas. My only pet peeve about this location is that it is only open during normal business hours. So if you come visiting on the weekend or want to stop by and look at things after work if you live in the area then you can not do so as the times are so narrow to actually visit.

Wish it would stay open much later as it gives a great view of the river area at the top of building, its air conditioned / heated so it makes it a nice place to be able to stop into when its very hot or cold outside and your walking along the riverfront and cool / warm up for a bit and rest instead of having to sit outside.

Friendly, helpful staff.

Friendly, helpful staff.

They could use more information on surrounding states and attractions, but plenty of info on Evansville and what it has to offer.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The views, especially the one from the rooftop, were beautiful. I am so glad that the building was not only saved but turned into a visitor center. This allows everyone to enjoy it.

Loved the Pagoda building! Friendly and knowledgeable staff gave us a few recommendations for great local restaurants for lunch. Go upstairs to the observation area for a great view of the Ohio river, and barges loaded with coal. A very enjoyable way to spend an afternoon!

Beautiful building with a gorgeous view of the Ohio River. We went here to take pictures of my son before his dance and got some wonderful shots. There is also a balcony with a glass elevator and some benches. It would be a lovely place to sit and enjoy the river on a warm dry day. Finally, there are many free pamphlet about attractions in and around the city. All in all a beautiful place to visit.

Went to watch the sunrise over the river and it was on the wrong side.... and the directions online and our GPS certainly did not want us to see the place at all it seemed but that being said, the building is beautiful, the Tulip Garden is amazing and a sunset there would be just breathtaking....

The Evansville Visitors Building is located on the Ohio River levy in Evansville Indiana. They have an abundance of literature on local places to visit all around the Indiana Illinois and Kentucky Tri-state region. They also provide information about destinations like West Baden, Indiana, Indianapolis, Louisville/Clarksville area as well as Saint Louis and Nashville. Excellent very well kept and beautiful facility. Know locally as "The Pagota". It has an upper observation area where you can view the river and downtown vista's. Visit, you will be glad you did.

Lot of information about events around the the state. I was disappointed that Evansville was letting the 4 freedom monument deteriorate and not keeping it up. Sad it represents all states in USA
