I have relied on Dr Tekdogan to attend to my dental needs for more than 4 years. She and her proficient staff have professionally taken care of my semi-annual dental cleanings, numerous old crown replacements, root canal and teeth whitening to name a few. Not once did I depart the office without feeling all work had been completed with efficiency and compassion. I have no reservation recommending Evanston Dental Spa for all your general dental needs.

Dr. Tekdogan wonderful. My family and I have been going to her over 20 years, when we moved to the northwest suburbs, I tried several different dentists that were much closer and convenient for us, but the quality of care was not there, so we returned to Dr. Tekdogan and couldn't be more pleased, her work is top notch.
My four children, who are now young adults still go to Dr. Tekdogan, and would never consider changing. I would and have recommend Dr. Tekdogan to anyone who is looking for an excellent Dentist.

Dr. Debbie is wonderful in our opinion. My son broke off his front tooth in a BB game. After the root canal, we decided to look for a new dentist and I found this practice online. We couldn't be happier. Dr. Debbie did a great job creating a temporary front tooth and even made him a mouth guard overnight so he could play in his next game!
Since, she has filled cavities not followed up by our previous dentist. I've been in for consultation and cleaning as has another member of our family. All positive.
I especially love the way they use the "pen camera" to show you exactly what's going on in your mouth. Seeing is believing.
I find her practice to be extremely responsive, friendly and fair. We are very pleased to have landed here!

Just go and read her YELP reviews. This place is awful. Think twice before taking your business here. This doctor is not qualified and she 100% overcharges. I wish I would have seen these reviews before going there.

I reached out to Evanston Dental Spa on a whim -- one night while unable to sleep because of jaw pain, I was Googling around for someone local who helps with such things. I wear a retainer nightly, and it's been revealing a pretty bad grinding/clenching habit these past few months. They were so responsive and got me in for a morning appointment on the next business day.

Going into the appointment, I expected that they would suggest Botox for my jaw muscles. I wasn't thrilled about the idea but figured it was likely necessary. Instead, they explained that they wanted to begin with the least invasive approach -- a nightguard that would replace my upper retainer. I was so pleasantly surprised, and just over a week later, I was able to pick it up. It's helped immensely! And while I can still see some significant marks on it from grinding in the morning, my jaw pain has been 75% better. I've only had it for about 2 weeks, but in that time, I've not experienced another jaw pain-related migraine or needed to take anything but Advil.

Thank you, thank you!!!!

DO NOT GO TO DR. DEBBIE!!! SHE OVERCHARGES & NICKL...

DO NOT GO TO DR. DEBBIE!!! SHE OVERCHARGES & NICKLE & DIMES! Can I put a negative rating? I decided to go to this office- because my Mom knew Dr. Debbie. It was way out of my way, but whatever, I dealt with it. The first time I went I was shocked by how much more expensive Dr. Debbie was compared to the previous offices I have been to- as well as WORKED in (I was a dental assistant a while ago). But on my last experience, Dr. Debbie did the cleaning, and DID NOT DO AN ORAL EXAM. Since Dr. Debbie did the cleaning herself (no assistant) she was unable to properly check me out, so she said she would have someone call me later for payment. No big deal. That's fine. When I got a call later, I was prepared to pay less than the amount from my last appointment ($185) since I didn't have an oral exam. However, when the woman called she told me my invoice was for $220! I was shocked. I asked her why it was so expensive, and she said "We have increased our prices since your last visit, so your total for the Prophy and Exam is $220". I told her that the doctor did not do an exam, since I was very familiar with what a dental exam entails. She didn't check my jaw (I have TERRIBLE TMJ, and all she did was ask me to put my mouth guard in and that's it), she didn't check my lymph nodes, she didn't press on the roof of my mouth, or the floor of my mouth for cancer screening, she didn't check under my tongue- NONE OF THE BASIC things dentist do during an exam. The woman on the phone said she wasn't aware of anything since she wasn't in the office during the appointment, but would have the doctor call me back. In about an hour Dr. Debbie called and was adamant that she did the exam- and that she was due the entire $220. Seriously, this is a RIP OFF. She didn't even use an ultrasonic scaler to get behind my lingual bar. She hand scaled all my teeth, and I was in and out in 30 minutes. $220 is WELL above the average cost of a Prophy & Exam. Particularly if the dentist is BILLING FOR SERVICES THAT WERE NOT RENDERED. But I'm not one to keep a bill open- so I sent a check (Usually I would pay by CC, but I don't trust her to not keep my card since she's proven to be dishonest so far), and IMMEDIATELY found a dentist who lives closer to me. I contacted the office and gave Dr. Debbie's front desk staff the information to forward my records to the new office. Today- 3 months later, the new dentist sent me a message stating that they have not received my records, which is crazy, since all my records are DIGITAL, and it takes about 2 seconds to Zip and Email them. So I left a message with Dr. Debbie's voice mail, and the front desk person stated she had no record of me wanting to have my records sent. But she said she could email me a consent form and would require a $30 fee for the records. $30 for DIGITAL RECORDS? Maybe my mistake is taking care of my teeth. She knows she can't make money off of crowns, fillings, or any other big bill services. I can't speak to the face-to-face customer service because I NEVER MET ANYONE FROM HER OFFICE other than the doctor! All my appointments were confirmed via e-mail, and appointments rescheduled with the Doctor. The only interaction I've had with anyone was the woman who I talked to who said she would send my info to the new dentist (and she obviously didn't do it), and the woman I spoke with today who wants to charge me $30 to send an email to my new dentist! So- pretty lousy there too I guess. Honestly, I know why Dr. Debbie has to do cleanings on her own, and charge an arm and a leg plus a fee for a simple menial task. Clearly her business is the gutters (Her Highland Park office leaves much to be desired as you get your teeth cleaned from the basement and watch people walk by), and in order to make ends meet, she increases the cost of her services to well above the average cost for the area. I'll NEVER go back to her. And I would recommend that if you like to keep your hard earned wages, you won't go to her either.
