I came with my grandchildren to look at the Christmas windows we loved

Very beautiful place the ceiling is just wahhh. The rooftop is amazing !!

So expensive. To visit it is good but for buying i am not sure about it.

After visiting Thailand and Singapore earlier this year we found it interesting to see some of the malls and shopping centers in other countries. Because many people come from all over the world to visit the city and potentially buy souvenirs the malls can be very elaborate. Considering how big fashion is in Paris in particular we expected shopping to be a large part and chose to stop by this shopping center. It is a multistory department store with a very intricate central roof that many people often photograph. During the holidays they have a large central Christmas tree that adds another layer of festivity. While there and browsing around we discovered that they also had a rooftop terrace which we did not previously know about. The terrace is free to access and provides a nice view of the city without as much crowds as other viewpoints of the city. They also have a small ice skating rink on the roof as well for those who want to skate with a view. If you happen to be in the area this is a good option to get a panoramic view without having to pay any additional cost. We went during the middle of the day and were only there with around 10-15 other people which was hard to believe compared to other viewpoints we had been at such as the Arc de Triomphe. If you are in Paris you definitely need to take in the shopping experiences even if it is not your style and this should be on your list of places to check out!

Spectacular, it is worth going up to the terrace for the views. The English court of Paris, although with more style and decoration. A place to visit while in Paris and see something different from the typical monuments.

A large variety of choices. A place to see but a lot of people with tourists.

Beautiful place with a very nice dome. It is worth going to the roof for the view. Stores are expensive and you don't need to buy anything, just stroll

I hope I can give a zero. Extremely rude customer service at information desk and tax return. Never shop here if you got a chance to go somewhere else. The shop got so many people just because they work with travel agencies

One of the most beautiful shopping centers in Paris. You can buy almost anything that comes to mind. All businesses are tastefully decorated and in accordance with French tradition. The prices are not cheap but during the promotions there are big discounts.

I think that it is worth to inquire even if you can not find it because it is on display and the goods are not all.
There is a tax exemption procedure on the 0th floor and the 1st floor (this is the priority)
We did not have to wait because we used 1st floor this time, but depending on the time zone I think that wait time will arise.
The procedure itself is easy!
As for Gallery Lafayette, after returning home, there is a tax refund refund relatively quickly.

Very impressive and unique building with artistic designs on the ceiling and wide range of clothes, footwear, clothing accessories, etc. There is a rooftop garden with a 360 degree unobstructed view of the surrounding area.

Great selection of brands all in one place! It is usually pretty crowded but a nice place for shopping. During Christmas they have beautiful shop window.

The note is more for the glamor and the tower that is there, but it is full, confusing, too expensive and they have an English cut that is more pleasing if the purpose is shopping.

Totally nil service !!! We waited for drinks until the end of the meal !!! And we were told: "we are overwhelmed "

Very nice store. Spacious, modern and pleasant. A lot of choices. Direct access from the car park or metro. Direct gateway to the main store.

Taking a ride here is great not to buy but to see it is really worth even just taking a walk on the glass bridge

A wonderful place for window shopping the building itself is stunning and worth a visit even if you are not into shopping. It s the center of hi-fashion but you might be able to find good deal during sales seasons (post Xmas in Jan and summer Jul/Aug) and the shoes section underground

Nice place to shop for branded goods. Friendly Advised: never2 advertised high end paper bag Gucci Louise Vuitton Prada after purchasing it. Snatch theft or pickpocket tailing and eyeing the tourist. They are blended among the community from their dressing.
The security mall normally located at every mall entrance are most helpful and they will protect and assisted tourist. Even the sale persons are helpful towards the tourist. Was informed that there's Plain clothes police officers roaming around to protect the tourist back and ready to apprehend the snatch theft and pickpocket.
Tourist be sure to wear something normal and least expensive for not becoming a victims.

Not as fun as walking down the Parisian avenues, but if you want a one-stop shop or it's raining.. This is one of the very best department stores in the world to get it all done.

Pretty much all high end brands are represented here, if that's what you're looking for. Incredibly friendly and knowedgable staff all around.

To visit for the old-fashioned charm of Parisian department stores and the beauty of the dome. On the other hand the world and the prices are frankly prohibitive.

Too many tourists from shopping tours. Go near the Louvre or any other stores for a more luxury experience

For those who want to buy designer products, it is a great place. And after (or before) shopping, it is worth climbing on the terrace, as the view is wonderful.

The latest in fashion is there. Of course, the cheapest is 75 euros and up. Better go to HyM Marionard Sephora Celio ... among others.

I always go there just to take a break and see how normal / rich people live...

It is always a pleasure to go from one floor to another under the fantastic Art Nouveau dome, surrounded by luxurious objects and go up to the immense terrace to admire the fantastic panorama.
Galeries Lafayette are always full of charm. Timeless !!!

It's one of the best shopping centre i have come across with best of brands having it's best of stores.

We find there the biggest brands to put stars in your eyes. There are also unusual objects from the products that you don't find anywhere else. ..... but alas it is necessary to have the means to resort with purchases !! Otherwise we leave with the stars in the eyes !!!!

Just to say that to be a tourist site, your terrace would have to lengthen the hours of the cafe more.

The galleries are barbaric. Beautiful and super populated. The variety of things you will find here could not be summarized in a few words. I've tried, you'll want to buy everything.

Extraordinary galleries, and the 6th floor a large food court. Good price for being Paris.

Beautiful place to make shopping. I recommend it to couples that want to build their own wardrobe and people that likes going on shopping. Nice places to eat and different shops, for everyone.

It's a department store like a jewelry box. You can also see the Eiffel Tower from the roof terrace.

Still possible for a "black friday" to do their Christmas shopping without an oxygen mask but the aisles are starting to be well supplied with customers. Take advantage of it, it will not last. Happy Holidays to all.

Everything you can ask for, or rather desire.

Very poor people skills was displace by the sells person over multiple floors and multiple stores will make you do a line at the door even that the store was not full occupied they close the doors of the restrooms.
May need Customer care intervention!

Magnificent Christmas decorations. Free access to the roof of the galleries with a very beautiful view of Paris. And also access to the "ice rink" which is also free (small flat, it is very small and it is not real ice)

In the Ladayette department store in Paris there is no getting lost. You can find everything, but you have to go there with comfortable shoes. It is truly very large and very beautiful.
PS: in addition to comfortable shoes, also a credit card. It is difficult to resist the purchase.
