I scheduled apt for a work claim as I wasn t going to get stuck with the other bill, showed up early 15mins after my apt time of waiting they sent me to urgent care, nobody there the other desk had a huge line, I understand I m not the only patient but the time I was there I wasn t the only one upset that s why I switched clinics in the past. The service has been terrible.

Terrible experience. Obese female nurse practitioner put her genitals all over my leg unnecessarily while examine my ears sitting in my chair. Left feeling disgusted and violated. I should have been told to jump up on the exam table so she could approach from the side without putting her disgusting body all over me. Are there cameras in those rooms? Im not litigious but it feels like I should file a lawsuit and/or formal complaint.

Only two people in the waiting room. Waited for half and hour. Got into a room, and waited in the room for half an hour till doctor came. Doctor came. Asked me a couple questions and left again for 10 minutes. Came back then did labs and about 25 more minutes finally came back with my results. One hour and 35 minutes to tell me I have strep.
This isn t the first time I ve came and had to wait ten years to even see a doctor.

I saw Dr. Bader for a yearly physical but was charged for an office visit. Was also charged for smoking cessation counseling and I don t even smoke! Dr. Bader changed the dose on my thyroid med to then turnaround and decline it when it was time for a refill! I had to contact my old doctor at Lakewood (who I haven t seen in a year) to get it filled. It took Essentia 5 months, 10 phone calls, and several emails to reverse all the charges.

I ve tried Essentia many times throughout the year and every time has been a horrible experience that cost me money, time away from work, and unnecessary stress. From misdiagnoses, to screw ups in ordering allergy shots, to rude receptionists who answer the phones, to being transferred multiple times to wrong departments, to the confusion and run-around, all the way to issues in billing I will never go back.

Thankfully there are choices: Lakewood has a clinic in Pillager and CRMC in Baxter. I honestly wouldn t waist your time at Essentia.

If you are a new patient. Be prepared to spend your afternoon there for something as simple as a strep test. Sat in the room waiting for the doctor for an hour. Finally had to open the door and ask how much longer the wait would be. I was told I was the first new patient but no ETA. Asked what that meant and well if you ve been seen there before you go first. Their urgent care isn t a FCFS basis. Understanding I was upset nurse swabbed child... another hour goes by only to have to come out and ask again ETA of test (which a rapid test should take only a few minutes). It had been negative but they had me waiting all that time for a doctor (who never showed up) to tell me it s viral. Absolutely disappointed in the service here and would highly recommend going elsewhere if you are able. Especially if you are a new patient!

High fever, headache. They worked me into their schedule & I was treated by a very professional, very knowledgeable, and very thorough nurse practitioner within 2 hours. In addition, she demonstrated a very caring manner. In addition, the reception area was very friendly, as well as the nurse practitioner's assistant. In addition, the young lady who took four vials my blood was friendly, & I literally didn't feel a thing. I believe this was a first in my life at 62 years young.
Great experience from top to bottom, & while I was feeling lousy.

The ARNP we saw today in Peds for a cat scratch made me feel like the worst parent ever. Very judgemental and made me feel like it was my fault.

We usually see Dr. Winter who we love, and if she had been available, I m sure things would ve gone a lot better.
