Neat, clean, with large assortment. Good offers, the rest of the prices in line with the supermarkets in Milan. Gastronomy, delicatessen, butcher, fishmonger, bakery, pastry shop all with fresh products. Online shopping and home delivery. Soon shopping is the functionality to speed up shopping, a real resource.

Alas, although very well stocked, many products are of foreign origin. Fresh vegetables department I always find very poor. The meat department is full of foreign meats, but there is also meat of Piedmontese origin even if I do not find it of good quality. Another sore point and the fishmonger if you want to feel the taste of the sea is certainly not the place it is likely that the fish will be treated in order to keep it on the bench longer, moreover the species are limited. The pastry shop with the Elisenda brand is very interesting. I bought some cake and I must say that they are really excellent. A special mention goes to the panettone always branded Elisenda I found it exceptional, of course the price is adequate.

The most beautiful ESSELUNGA shop I have seen! Too bad it's on the opposite side of the city from my home! Very well stocked, with also the fresh butcher's counter, where I bought some delicious maxi burgers! Beautiful to be able to sit at the bar before or after shopping, browse the perfume shop. Last, but not least, consideration: very kind and witty shop assistants!

Esselunga in Italy is certainly a good quality chain where the quality of its fresh products, gastronomy, fruit and vegetables, meat and fish departments should be real flagships of quality. So, in theory, it is the realm of perfection among the various competitors of large retailers, well, it is not always so! There are flaws here too, there is not always absolute transparency towards the customer, just to start with. I note several functional gaps. An example: some products are arranged in a less logical or irrelevant position than the classic location. Some price tags are also missing. Like all the other chain markets, the announcements to the microphones are very annoying because the voices croak disturbing. I just wonder: upgrade plants no?
