Amazing view of Keuka Lake, if you can manage to get a table. The night we were there, they had a female guitarist/singer who performed a great selection of 70's rock- Neil Young, Rolling Stones, etc. she was great. Service was slow, although it didn't seem all that crowded, the wait staff was acting like they were slammed. We ordered the filet special, but they had run out. Instead we had tapas- very small portions, average to above-average taste. The bar selection was average. The dessert selection lacked a chocolate option or a peanut butter option, leaving my companion jonesing. Overall, it was better than average, but not amazing.

Had breakfast in the cafe. Beautiful location and fantastic view. Sandwiches were very good. Service was slow. Hot drinks were also good. Friendly servers. Haven't been able to go to dinner there yet, but great location.

When I saw Erika Gonzalez and Mike was our server, I knew we were in good hands. When I saw Michael Guadino co.e out to check things I knew we were in good hands. The charcuterie was good, the calamari were tasty and the salmon was fresh and yummy. But that creme brulee was the hit! Delish!

Restaurant review only. One word here, CHARCUTERIE! I cannot stop talking about it. The portion was huge for the price. I was shocked as I ve been other places and you don t even get half of what you do here and the prices are much more. I also saw other diners meals and their portions were generous. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the views are outstanding. Excellent professional staff. Cannot wait to go back especially once the fall colors start to pop. I know they have some nights with live music and I overheard they will be doing some type of date night for couples in the future. For being a newer local I am happy to see the mansion reopened.

I can not say enough about the staff at the restaurant !
This extraordinary hospitality began as soon as we walked in the door.
The hostess greeted us and took us to a table .
This didn t suit us so she patiently showed us some other locations until we were happy
( this was like Goldilocks and the Three Bears : -)
The Scottish Salmon paired with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc from Hector Wine Co.was absolutely delicious!!
The view of Keuka Lake was lovely and will be breathtaking as the trees are dressed in autumn colors soon We will definitely return !

Working with the Esperanza Team, it was clear to us that their main goal was to make our wedding day perfect. All along the way, the management team aligned our vision with reality. The Mansion Restaurant and staff truly go above and beyond in preparing and delivering delicious meals that taste home-cooked.

Hosting our wedding at the Esperanza overlooking the breathtaking landscape of Keuka lake was the best decision we made as part of the wedding planning process. Mary and her team have truly accomplished every task in restoring the natural beauty of this historic venue and enhancing all that this part of the countryside has to offer. I highly recommend that you add this venue to your list of locations to consider, as well as enjoying a meal while you are there. You will not be disappointed!

10/5/2019. Didn't disappoint. 4 years after our daughter was married there we returned for a dinner with them. Local wines, house made fried calamari made for a perfect setup for a most delicious main dish. 2 of us had the seafood fra diablo, and the other 2 had the house made crab cakes. The only negative was we had no room for desert. Our waitress also returned after not being there for many years. She was warm and enthusiastic. In the ballroom there was a formal masdqarde party going on. Looked like fun.

We have visited many many many places over the years and Esperanza Mansion is number one out of them all. Every person working there is professional polite and personable. No matter what you ask for they will get it or do it for you. The dinners where five star, we had three dinners everyone was amazing! If you have never been here for dinner this is one place you you must dine! They have a great deal of antique furniture and everything is clean and pristine. We have only stayed in one house that was as clean as Esperanza. Look at the pictures I posted how can you not want a view like that to relax in. What a vacation we had, to the owner and workers we thank you for a wonderful time and we love you!!!

Impromptu dinner date turned out awesome! Great view. Food was delicious. We ordered the calamari, chicken Gorgonzola, and stir fry all amazing! Desserts were darn good, too! Definitely coming back.

Restaurant review only. Went to the open house on 8/17 as well as had dinner. Will return. It was a very busy event and the EM staff seemed to do great. Dinner service and quality were great. Chicken Gorgonzola, portion size large and commensurate with price point. Potatoes a bit runny and the chicken a bit oversauced, but overall excellent flavor. The Faith Salad (small portion) was huge and delicious! White wine list a little sparse -- maybe they will work on that as they going full steam -- particularly local white wines.

Tried to set up a time to view/tour the venue as an option for our upcoming 2017 wedding. Got an email back saying she would "let me know if there were any openings." Well must be there weren't any because she never "let me know." Lack of professional skills, being that she couldn't even give me the time of day for a simple tour I suppose I wouldn't any to put my wedding day festivities in her hands anyway. So don't waste your time with this place.

5/12/13 Mother's Day buffet. Had to ask for napkins for our table of 8 (none on the table) ended up asking 5x before everyone got a napkin. Had to request water for about half the table as waitress nly filled some glasses initially. When we went for food at the buffet we had to request plates be brought out, Dishes of food were empty and not refilled despite that we were there in the middle of the hours for the buffet. The same happened with the dessert buffet, When I asked wait staff to check kitchen about refilling buffet they just shrugged and said kitchen was doing their best. Paper toels in ladies room not in dispenser but large rollon counter counter soaking wet. When I complained waitress stated they had people come without reservations. I stated we had reservations and had expected to have a full buffet to choose from. Wait staff refilled one person's water but did not offer to other people at the table. the same with coffee. Windy cool day and allowed children to run in and out of outside door in main dining room with no consideration for cold breeze coming in the door to people seated at tables. I don't ever remember spending such a significant amount on a buffet to get such terrible service and terible access to the food offerings. BE sure I will not return nor will the rest of us and we will spread the word.

I was an Esperanza bride in 2013. If I could redo my wedding day, I would never have had my reception at the Esperanza Mansion. The Esperanza Mansion have the rudest, most unprofessional hospitality staff and management.

During my reception, they did not distribute the wedding send-off bubbles that I left in their care, and after my reception, they returned the top of my cake but not the unserved portions.

Two years later, my husband and I mistakenly decided to return for our anniversary and stay in our wedding night suite. After making reservations months in advance, we arrived to find that the Esperanza Mansion bumped us from our room. When the front desk clerk left to discuss the change with the manager, the manager refused to speak with us. However, the front desk clerk explained that the people who arrived two minutes before us and who made a reservation that week wanted a room with a hot tub. So they decided to bump a former bride and groom from their wedding night suite.

Do not stay and definitely never get married at the Esperanza Mansion.

Do you enjoy paying $200 a night to stay at a sub-mediocre motel? Then Esperanza Mansion may be right for you. Without any indication we were being put in the Esperenza Inn and paying more than any rate advertised for the Inn we were directed to a sad-looking two-level structure built into a hill next door to the mansion. The rooms are Spartan a bed, a phone, a couple of chairs, and a 16 CRT TV circa 1985. Each room on the upper level has a balcony with no chairs that is one foot away from the balcony of the adjoining rooms without any privacy and which overlooks the parking lot for the lower level. For the free continental breakfast (also Spartan Motel 6 does better) you need to walk outdoors an issue when it is pouring as it was when we stayed there. The front desk is obviously inured to complaints about their bait and switch practice the manager is not there but will call you (he or she won t). The front desk will also helpfully advise you that there are no swimming beaches nearby (there is one less than a mile away) or direct you to closed restaurants. One can see why this is a popular destination for weddings, but if you are not in a wedding, don t stay here. And, to repeat, the Esperanza Inn is a bad choice even if you are in a wedding party.

I went with a group of friends for dinner and had a wonderful experience. I had a seafood entree and a few of the girls had steak, we were all raving about the food for the rest of the weekend. Devin was our server, and he helped with making it a great experience! Our group would definitely go back again!

I came to this mansion back in the late 1960's. It was in a very neglected state back then. It was used as an art gallery when I went there. Of course only the mansion was there, the additions to the mansion and motel had not yet been built. I remember the floors were very dirty and the walls & ceilings needed paint. There was an old ice house out behind the mansion.

Our NEW favorite place! Great food, breath taking atmosphere and amazing entertainment (currently, only a few nights/week....hoping they can make it nightly and just A little longer into the evenings ). Although, (like any new business ) there are a few kinks to iron out.....the staff is friendly and truly caring in making sure our dining experience was a pleasure!

Only opened 2 weeks ago. They were extremely slow in seating us. We even made reservations. Food was good, fairly priced with good portions. They should improve with seating now the summer is almost over. Owner indicated they are going to
add Finger Lakes wine by the glass and spice up the menu in the coming weeks. Worth a try.

In the past it was wonderful, great food and lovely atmosphere. So I booked a room. When I arrived there was a small sign saying no dining room. Since we came by bicycle, this was a huge problem. The place is abandoned. It must be closing. Such a shame to see such an elegant mansion go under.

The makeover of the mansion and hotel is beautiful. Went to a wedding. The view of the lake from the patio is breathtaking. Reception dinner good was very good and brunch in the dining room was excellent. All of the staff was outstanding and very responsive. Rooms are either in the "hotel" which was very comfortable with a lake view or in the mansion building.
