Eskom Koeberg Nuclear powerstation Review

Cool but I didn't get superpowers so they lost a star for that.

Pleasant place, good restaurant: at least 7/10, 4/10 atmosphere and interior decoration of 2/10.

Awesome nature conservation with biking and hiking routes.

This plant is a 5* because they got all needed departments in the work place, there is a security officer towards the beach to show that the plant is protected, wildlife, hiking tracks, cyclist tracks, direction map kiosk, braai woods, braai places, classes for students from different schools, free parking, yebo is a place 2 be>>>24hr security visibility*****

They have no plan for when things go pear shape, for the rest of the population of the province. No one in Cape Town knows what to do in a case of an emergency.

Best place ever, its my dream to work there in future

Timetables too small, no time to take a walk after class. However nice atmosphere with good cohesion, the staff is nice and distinguished. The distributor is however down.

My rating is for the visitor centre, as that was the only place I went to. Can not speak for the rough and tough part of this nuclear station.

The nearby sea is a real asset for this plant. The staff is very qualified and always attentive to its customers. Thank you for this stay, I highly recommend it for future family holidays.

Very nice place. would give 5 stars if they stop sinking the control rods in the reactor after failed startup.

Beautiful ride .... mostly jeep track. Sadly despite everything else being open, Koeberg refuses to open the reserve to allow hiking and biking while COVID is around. Seems like an excuse to keep people out.

Why is Koeberg closed for cycling/hiking?? When will it be open again? Really disapointing

They need a new receptionist. I called and she hung up on me. I called back and mentioned that the call cut and she did not give me insight of what was the cause of the call ending. She simply said "Ah ha".

Interesting site and the Visitors Centre is an excellent source of knowledge for scholars. Some of the exhibits are interactive and very educational. My only criticism is that it could be so much better. The block mounted information is old and could use rejuvenation. Worth the trip if you are in the area
