Scam received a bill, they demanded payment. They said I owed Verizon money. I confirmed with Verizon, I do not owe money. Do not trust this company.

Shady people... Never settle anything with them unless you have it in writing.
Agreed to settle for 33% of balance but I asked them to send in writing before I made a payment. First refused, then manager said, would send the offer letter. I did not receive anything for a month. Called today and 1st person I spoke to said, they sent letter on 6/11/2020 but had to transfer me to someone else. That second person said, they did not send anything and our last contact was in April 2019 not in June 2020 and they would not make that law offer (on account that is 4 years in collection). I am happy I did not make payment in June and requested in writing because like now they denied our conversation they would do the same and after taking 33% they would keep collecting the balance. I am not planning any big purchases next . half years, so not making any offers any more, I will wait till it fells off my credit.
This company is full of garbage. I paid off an outstanding account and 60 days later it was still showing as derogatory in my credit report. They refused to manually take it off the report either.
This place gets no stars. Corrupt! Corrupt! They need to be investigated by the attorney general of Massachusetts! They also need to get rid of Beth Keller and manager Doreen. Both nasty women. Keller is Unprofessional.
This charge has been in dispute. They never gave me service. Radio shack went out of business. They are who did the transaction and return in two days. Verizon's has a 14 day return policy. They don't honor their written policy. Store manager handled return in two days. How did they rack up $123.00 in that time.?????
I never knew or heard of this place but they say I owe them. 62 dollars for Verizon which I have no club as to what they're speaking of. Help someone!!
Pompus guy on the phone. "Oh, I'm not selling you anything"
Step 1 do not give them any of your info or agree to anything they say, don't even say "yes"
Step 2. check your credit., Print it out. You'll see then issue is "acct closed at consumer request" and/or "collections acct"
Step 3 inform EOS that you "do not have a contract with them nor wish to."
Step 4 ask for a letter stating the issue is closed.
They did not "pay your debt" they bought the info you once owed, but for it to go to collection the original debter has closed it off as a loss. You owe them NOTHING!!!
Be smart, tell them to "GFY".
I worked there. Don't know about the validity of the debts that was questionable. But I wanted to clarify information a lot of people have wrong here. The fact is they already know your social security number and info. Its on the screen in front of them. They are asking you to verify it for security purposes. The script wasn't good because it doesn't establish trust with employees. But there is no harm in giving your social security number to them. In fact, the information they have is sometimes shoddy so if they find you are the right name but wrong social security number you won't be liable for payment. Although expect another employee to call you again because of the lackluster system of contacts from the 1970s they use.
This is a scam-do not call throw away the bill! It s some company out of India trying to scam people into making payments they do not owe! I contacted my attorney generals office and reported them!
This is a scam. I get calls from them and when I call back it sends me to a very foreign persons voicemail!
How is it legal that they have information on an account I closed years ago and now they are trying to charge me for that account? Don't use Verizon I guess, garbage company. Report as fraud on credit report/get a lawyer and retaliate.
I received a call from Mary at EOS. As soon as she explained she needed to verify who she was talking to, I got combative. She explained who she was and provided a website to clarify why she was calling and offered the street address she had on file. I verified that information only and said now what is this about? She was very nice.. very cooperative... and provided information for the agency attempting to collect a late filing fee related to taxes. She provided their direct contact phone, the account number and amount they were trying to recover. I called the State of Texas, spent 2 minutes on the phone and resolved the issue. I'd call that reasonable.
Normally, I consider collection agencies to be parasites BUT give this one 5 Stars
I had an outstanding Healthcare bill and received a call from this agency EOS-CCA. Much to my surprise they were not like other collection agency that I have dealt with in the past.....They were much more customer service oriented than I would have ever expected. The lady I spoke with was able to answer all my questions regarding the debt and worked with me to set up an reasonable arrangement to get the debt paid.
