Pirates, crazy expensive fees for paying with a credit card. And they don't even provide a versatile service. Only Mastercard was accepted.

Hope they go bankrupt, but they won't thanks to piracy.

They even proudly state that they are the ones charging you that crazy amount of money for the "convenience of the service" in the "terms and conditions".

Maybe they use artisans in the process of payment. Artisans that handwrite your card number in golden letters and then manually transfer the money coin by coin. I don't know, if that is the case I will rate them with 5 stars.

Incredibly rude customer service through telephone...

Incredibly rude customer service through telephones. Abnormally huge fees when I use my credit card to pay for the rent due. I am supposed to pay about 400+ dollars, I used my credit card and entrata charged me a whopping 11% fee above the rent! It is a whopping 41 dollar fee for the 400 dollar rent payment. I have never been noticed such charge because any normal minded person will not accept such insatiable fee charges. I called entrata and the customer service specialist is extremely rude and rejected to give me any kind of reimbursement or refunding. I told him that I have never even seen any surcharges to be deducted from the account yet all he says, literally all he replies is that "sir, sir the payment has already processed we cannot do nothing about it"! Just like a robot! Horrible horrible service, extremely rude customer service specialists and bizarre surcharges!

I worked here for almost a year. When I began working from home I had problem after problem with the equipment they gave me. Due to the problems I would be unable to work during my shifts, yet I was penalized for it and was kept from being able to progress throughout the company because of problems that were out of my control. They say that they are flexible with your school schedule, however every time I had to change my schedule I ran into problems. At one point they told me my only option was to quit and apply again when I was able to work a different schedule. I was constantly being scheduled for meetings outside of my shift (something they are not able to do) and then my managers would be upset with me for not being at the meeting. For the last month or so that I was there they told me that I was not doing my job and not taking calls, when I was in fact doing my job and taking calls. When I tried to inform them of my side of the story they said "we'll take note of that, but this is what is actually happening". I quit the next week because I was not going to take it from them anymore. I am in their videos to advertise to potential employees to come and work there, but I do not agree with any of the things that I said. For a company that prides themselves on open communication they do not live up to their own standards of it. There were many situations where a manager would tell you one thing and then a different manager would tell you another thing.

Awful place wasted my time applying me and my girlfriend both applied she got an entirely different set of questions and an entirely different interview process, her lady was easy going and my guy acted like I was applying for google or something. Way more intricate then an $11 an hour job should be, if your looking for a job don t bother. Oh and did I mention when they gave her the job they put the wrong name in her email terrible company inconsistent ways of handling Buissness and the raises are dumb. Wayyy better call centers out there.

Very poor customer service. I was not given a straight answer to my questions. I was told that they will no longer be going "above and beyond" because of my situation. They refused to apologize to me. I feel I've been lied to by this company. The tone of voice of the person I spoke with on the phone was very rude. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Im a fan of PSI. I really enjoyed my time there and I learned a lot. What I miss the most is the people that I worked with. Everyone was just really down to earth and fun to be around. I think the company has a bright future, along with some growing pains, but all in all, I think you would do yourself a favor by going to work at PSI.

I am a financial manager for a property management...

I am a financial manager for a property management company and every time I have had a payment error it has been a complete nightmare to get anything resolved. I've been having an issue and everytime I call and explain what is going on, I am on the phone for a good while then I am told "we have to send it up and that you will be contacted via email." When I have called to follow up, they have no ticket open for the issue and I have to start all over again. Their customer service representatives have been nice to talk to, however, it's like pulling teeth to get anything solved; better yet, to get follow up. If you have to deal with Property Solutions, I would recommend taking notes of everyone you talk to with times and dates and write down what they tell you. It will help when you have to call them back for feedback or questions on your issue.

I recently moved into Brookmore Hollow Apartments and I am so very happy. It is quiet and all the tenants are so nice. It is well maintained. Management is always available to take care of your needs. I will definitely recommend this complex to friends and family.

So, where do those two missing stars wander off?

*** I'm an end-user, not management***

1. The message system sucks. It sends me an email, which is a good thing, but then it also sends a message in its own little message system. This means I have to go in there and manually clear all those messages one-by-one from their system, which is a pain. I should be able to delete those things in batches.
That's one star right there.

2. It feels clunky. The response time is more than half a second, which for a web service is pretty trash.

3. Also, some things (like messages) display really weird and actually look better in email than in their view thing. And the fonts are freaking weird. You've got bolded serifs in all these random places making it hard to click on stuff and ruining the visual flow. It's one thing to use it for titles, but it feels abused.

The worst! Don't believe a word they tell you during their sales pitches. This is the worst possible company in the world. Not only does their software not work during our busiest rental season after they did an upgrade but they won't answer their phones, give any update when the problem might be resolved or even acknowledge their own paying customer exists.

In a previous life I worked at a software company that was imploding. Entrata is showing all the signs of a talent drain and rats from a sinking ship of a failing software company.

Think about this, they "upgraded" their software and it lost our data, the software didn't let us sign new leases. This is the lifeblood of our company - college housing rental season is short, and for the past week we've lost any visibility into our online leasing process that Entrata has provided. When we call them, the voicemail is full, we email, hear nothing. It is the single worst experience of total and complete incompetence we have experienced in our business life.

Right now I am on hold waiting to actually talk to a person at the company. They literally won't talk to their customer. The person who answered the phone doesn't have any authorization to talk allow me to talk to someone at the company and is checking whether he can transfer me.

We have explained the crisis in our business they have caused and their response is literally no one at Entrata has any idea as to whether the issue will be resolve and if so when.

I am guessing that their employees are trained to lie to customers rather than actually solve problems.

I liked the workplace itself. Great employees and managers at leasing center level. But benefits left to be desired. The LC always got the scraps with no PTO and paid holidays while corporate and managers got all the benefits. The company claims to have an open door policy but there was a huge disconnect between corporate and the leasing center.

I have been a property manager for 3 years, and ever since switching to Entrata it has been a complete joke. Do not recommend this unless every time you need to change something in Prospect Portal you want to spend an hour or two troubleshooting to figure out something you've always been able to do before. It really is ridiculous. Don't waste your time. Been having problems for the past year, but just deal with it because it's the system that our owner bought. Can't wait till we can switch.

UPDATE: Currently trying to move in 4 tenants and am unable to. Been in the process of trying to figure this out for a week. My ticket was sent to a specialist, but I hadn't heard back for a week. I called to see what was happening and was informed it would take until the 16th to "release" how to solve the issue. I submitted the ticket on the 6th. I'm sure I don't understand the process of solving difficult technical problems, but I think 10 days is a bit long. Can't move my tenants in, so they still can't pay their rent online and are frustrated about the hassle. I would not recommend this online system for any kind of housing management.

Poor company that cannot run a payment system correctly or a system for submitting for review of needs in an apartment community. Save your residents the hassle and worry of the poor Entrata system and go with something feasible and works.

Working with the Entrata team on SEO and PPC has been beneficial for Gatehouse. It has helped us to stay competitive in the advertising arena and has even grown our organic traffic year over year. Our leasing office took away our deposit box and instead implemented Entrada as a way for residents to pay rent outside of their Monday through Friday 9-5 hours. We were told it would be a "small" convenience fee for paying with a card on the site. That small fee is $31 and change, only because we have MasterCard. If we had Visa, it would be $50. That is ridiculous and unnecessary. Terms and conditions also stipulate they can charge you fees WITHOUT notice! What businesses like this set out to do ought to be illegal.

For all the working class, family people out there, be very cautious when conducting business with apartment communities that are managed by innovative software and market analyzers. You may sign a short-term lease and find yourself getting an enormous rent increase later on. Remember, one of the greatest powers you have as a consumer is to carefully choose how you will spend your money. It may take extra work and concentration, but it is one of the best ways to keep the big corporations from corralling you financially unfavorable situations. It is your greatest power. Do your homework and find property owners that respect and care about the families that rent from them.

We have been using Entrata aka Property Solutions ...

We have been using Entrata aka Property Solutions since 2008. We have only used their Prospect Portal, Resident Portal and SEO for our company website. I have noticed in the last 4 years or so their customer service has taken a nose dive, especially their billing department. We weren't billed for SEO for months and they stopped auto-withdrawals from our bank account for our monthly billings and then screwed around with me for months to get it straightened out and then treated me like it was my fault. This month I was charged a random outrageous amount that wasn't supposed to be billed and I have yet gotten a straight answer about them getting it corrected. Their SEO work was not worth the money and they lead me on for months before they finally said I needed to pay more in SEO or I am throwing money away. What a big waste of money! They have also made major changes which now is very cumbersome and hard to use. Not intuitive at all since they have made their changes. I am constantly having problems finding where I need to go to make changes. If I could find another service that was affordable and I had all the time in the world to make the switch, I would in a heart beat.

We use Entrata for everything and for the most part, it has worked well. The last year or so has been better than the first couple of years with them. They are the only company I am aware of that offer the entire package from website to accounting to lead tracking to SEO. Their SEO team is excellent and helped increase our online presence tremendously. The regular updates were sometimes difficult but their telephone support was always helpful.

I found it to be cumbersome. We want a VISA option for Scheduled payments but MasterCard and Discover is all that is offered, this makes no sense.

The gateway fees are 3.5%. That is way above industry standards of less than 2% and I know of a Merchant company that can offer .08%.

I have used/worked with several software systems throughout my career in property management and Entrata is without a doubt THE BEST that there is in every possible way - very user friendly software that continues to make improvements to benefit the client and their customers and I LOVE that they accept (and actually implement) features requests based on our needs. Their team really provides THE BEST customer service and everyone that I've had the pleasure of working with are truly some of the nicest people I have ever met. LOVE LOVE LOVE Entrata!

This company is poorly managed. 1. Invoice notifications are emailed only 1-2 days before payment due date which means renters can't pay by mail and are forced to pay online. 2. Charging convenience fees is typical when paying online using credit cards; however, NEVER when using a bank routing number for direct payment in which no person actually has to do anything for the transaction to occur. 3. Renters are then charged a "convergent fee" for 3rd party billing which is Entrata! Entrata is taking money twice from renters. Bad business.

A company that lies and commits fraud eventually falls. Entrata is one that is around the corner from falling. Entrata is attempting to get away with fraudulent charges and lies about a lawyer that does not exist. You don t get away with charging me $2000 when I only authorized $1485. Justice is coming and your day of doom is inevitable. Horrible company, stay clear of them. If your a property manager you re asking for liability lawsuits, if your a renter you re asking to be defrauded. That s all you get with this company. Boycott this un-American company!

Entrata is NOT a user friendly program. If there is something not working you may have to go through several people at Entrata to get it resolved, or to try to get an explanation. It seems that each person there works on only one thing (not cross trained effectively). The program, although it is a one stop platform for payable/receivable/leasing etc. it should be more user friendly. The people at Entrata don't even use this program the way other property management professionals use it, so really they just don't "get it". For one thing - anyone having to move out hundreds of residents on a given day (primarily student housing units) and having to do it one by one, instead of under a bulk function is surely a FAIL! That is not the only place there could be improvement, if only they would add bulk function options and make the entire system more user friendly and simpler to understand and follow. I know accountants that can't follow this system!

This company handles the rental applications for One Dartmouth Place in Denver. They rejected me for future tenancy because I have an old misdemeanor that was non-convicted, non violent and for something legal in Denver. Furthermore, I have learned that they give a Pass, Fail based on a computer report. Apparently, they aren't familiar with legal terms since my record clearly states that "ADJUDICATION WITHHELD" meaning, I wasn't convicted. Nevertheless, its in process to be sealed by FL. Oh well, they cost their customer a great, reliable tenant, with no evictions.

I worked for Property Solutions for two years. I was surrounded by awesome people and learned a TON.

One thing I noticed is the dedication that everyone there has for what they do. They don't want to just look the best, they want to be the best. And I think that anyone in the industry would agree that they are typically doing both.

From an employment perspective and a product perspective, Property Solutions is really one of the best places around.

Entrata does the billing for my apartment complex and they just can't seem to get it right. The last four months I have been double charged for the garage I was renting with my unit, and every month I've had to call my apartment office and they have had to reverse it. They assured me every month that they had alerted Entrata and it would be fixed, yet it happens again the following month. Well this last month tops it all in that now I have a $30 late fee for the bogus double charges that this company is trying to charge me. Fortunately I have fulfilled my lease and will be moving due out of this apartment complex due to the very poor billing of this company. If you are a property owner looking for a property management company for your billing, I would AVOID them. I personally will avoid living anywhere that uses them.

Terrible customer service and too many updates that cause glitches!! They roll out these updates all the time. I do acknowledge the positive updates, however they ALWAYS have glitches and things they need to fix when they roll out the updates. You better hope one of the glitches don't affect what you have to do everyday!!! I spoke with Entrata and informed them I can't perform a move in due to a system glitch and all they are telling me is that i need to contact my corporate office and that the problem would be left unsolved until they can fix it. Mind you i called about this same situation over 3 weeks ago! You always have these surprises when you are able to do something then all the sudden, due to an update you need "additional permissions." I will be contacting my owner and give him my feedback on why we need to switch PM systems. There is always glitches and they always claim that we need to get permissions added to fix it, well if you all would fix the glitches in the first place, permissions wouldn't need to be added. If your reading this, stay on Onesite or Yardi, there aren't half the issues you have to deal with when using Entrata.
