This is one of our favorite restaurants and we have probably been a hundred times, but after our last visit I feel compelled to finally leave a review. We brought the family for my husband's birthday, and everything was just outstanding, more so than usual. It was a pretty full house, but the food still came out quickly and was delicious. Our waiter, Nick, was wonderful. We go out to eat A LOT and he's probably one of the best waiters we've ever had at any restaurtant. He really made the evening special. This is a place you'll be proud to bring family and friends to.

I ordered the fettuccine alfredo and some mozzarella sticks for carryout over the weekend. I was greeted very nicely by the staff, and I did not have to wait at all for my order. The mozzarella sticks were nicely made, and the noodles tasted good too. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. However, there was one problem I noticed with my order. My fettuccine alfredo had entirely too much butter in it. I would have to say my noodles were SWIMMING in butter. I moved the noodles from the container it came in to a plate to drain some of it off, and the bottom of the container couldn t be seen from how much butter was on those noodles. It was absolutely ridiculous. I would not order that again.

This place operated by a true, italian speaking family from Naples! I had the pleasure to personally talk to the owner and his son (Paulo) and both were extremely friendly! The service were great, so as the food that was served to us! I was there with my significant other and his family, and we were hugged at the end of our dine out experience, like we were part of their family!!! Definitely 2 up!!!

The owners go out of their way to make sure that every customer is well taken care of. The portions are generous. The Italian music and surroundings lend to a relaxing dinning experience. I have had many of my family events there and experienced their catering. I can't say enough about how much I love this place !

Can I leave a half a star??

Can I leave a half a star??
Back in 2012, we had a Family Reunion and we traditionally go out to a local establishment the night prior to accommodate all of the people driving in. That year they picked Enotria. Due to our party size, the menu was predetermined however there was no complaints regarding the food. Infact several people, including my mother have made returned visits to this location due to that 2012 trip. However today, that has changed....

"Authentic Italian Cuisine" is the tag line for this place and I would like to say that this statement is FAR from the truth. I am not a food critic but when it comes to Italian food, I made frequent trips over to visit my Italian family (at least every 2 years) and I have eaten as north as Milan, Genoa, Venice, and have traveled as far south of Naples & Capri.. never would I have been served what I got this evening at Enotria.

My wife and son attempted to enjoy meatballs as their appetizer, and let me start off by saying I am well aware many people like poaching their meatballs and I personally prefer pan-searing or grilling them before I place them in my sauce but with that being said, when they took a bite, the meatballs just broke apart and like in a super tender, juicy way but in a bland greasy lackluster way. The sauce itself was extremely basic, like you opened up a can of sauce and put salt & pepper only. The sauce wasn't even worth the bread they brought to the table.

Even the bread was barely anything to get excited for. The only thing I liked was that it was warm, however there was no crunch to the crust. I can't even tell what was served with the bread in the oil dish.

As for the entries...
My son got his favorite dish, Penne Arrabbiata (my family is from the Lazio region) however after tonight, he may be scared to order it.. I love cooking with olive oil but when I saw his plate and you can see the separation of oil grease and pasta sauce. Also Arrabbiata is spicy, there was nothing spicy about it. It just tasted like a greasier version of the tomato soup they served with the meatballs

My wife got gnocchi. It was served in that bland tomato "progressive" soup and you could tell that her gnocchi was over cooked. Also then they topped the fresh mozzarella, it didn't melt right and there was a huge clump to 1 side of her dish.

"Chicken breast with roasted grape tomatoes,
asparagus, and prosciutto in a light white
wine and garlic sauce, topped with fresh
mozzarella cheese, baked and served
with oven-roasted potatoes"
When reading this I was expecting my tomatoes, Asparagus & potatoes to have some sort of browning on them due to the "roasting" description (in fairness the menu doesn't say Roasted asparagus, but this is how I read it), and that my chicken would either have some sort of white sauce on it or perhaps my plate would have a small base of this white sauce (like i have seen in several Chicken scallopini dishes). Oh no, my plate came out looking like someone just ladled something from a crock pot. The grape tomatoes didn't have that dark color red I am accustom to seeing when I roast them & the potatoes where pure white!! Of course everything was just soaked in this white garlic sauce (i will admit, it was tasty) but I didn't need my meal drenched in it.

I will end this with a positive and 2 negatives. The waitress was nice however I dont like the process of bringing out my food, asking for extra Parmesan and then having to leave for 5mins+ Why not just bring it out, who doesn't love extra Parmesan?!?
Lastly the bathroom, 2 sinks only 1 soap dispenser and it is not in the middle. The sink on the left has to wait for the sink on the right to be free.

Fettuccini bolognese was good it was a homemade pasta that came to the table steaming hot. Nom. Bread was disappointing. It was fresh just not a crusty bread. It was a soft kinda bland bread. I was kinda psyched for italian bread like carrabba's. Wine was good. Service was good. Place smelled like the carpet needed to be washed. Overall I would go back especially on 1/2 price pasta Tuesdays.

the total package when it comes to find dining, eating out, sharing family celebrations...Carlo, Anna and Paulo are the best when it comes to making the Enotria experience a memorable one. When our family celebrates a birthday or anniversary, the place they like most when it's 'my treat' is Enotria. They know fine dining, more so than me...so when I first suggested Enotria many years ago, it was a hit that continues to be our 'family' favorite.

We went for the Mother s Day Brunch buffet and the food was horrible.
We ve eaten there before for dinner and it s was good but today s food was very disappointing
The server also would not split our checks since we had a large party it would have been helpful
She then added a 18 percent gratuity on our check which I thought was very high for serving ourselves

Service was good but food not so much. Ordered the cappellini adriatica dish. The sauce was tasteless and the amount of seafood in the dish lacking. It had 4 small shrimp, 6 bay scallops and maybe a teaspoon of crab meat which horrible for a $25 entree. My wife ordered the Veal Chesapeake over linguini and it to was tasteless and lacking crab meat. Ordered mac and cheese and side of meatballs for my kids. Neither one of my kids would eat the mac and cheese as it to was very bland. Meatballs and bread were the highlights of an $80 meal. Won't return to this place as it not good and way over priced. If you want good Italian cuisine visit the Olive Tree in Aberdeen. 2 stars are for the service!

I've never written a restaurant review, but Enotria is worth it. Beautiful outside, beautiful inside. The food was quick to come, but had the quality of food that had been labored over for hours. Even the pre-meal bread was warm and delicious, like it had been freshly baked. 5/5 would travel for an hour to go here again

The last time I had been to Enotria was probably 15 years ago and I remember really enjoying it. This time, though, was another story. We were having a family dinner with 6 adults and we all agreed that we were very underwhelmed. Four of our group ordered a chicken dish and all of them said the chicken was way overcooked and had little flavor (two different dishes). I ordered the Salsiccia Napoletana and it was super salty. I am not a person who is against salt, by any means, but this was way over the top. The sixth person said his dish was very bland.

The food was so disappointing that a lot of food was left on the plates and nobody was interested in taking the leftovers home.

To top this our server was super inattentive. That being said, it seemed to be an isolated incident as the other servers I noticed were attentive and took good care of their tables. Our server, on the other hand, rarely even came to check on us.

There are way better Italian restaurants around.

Great atmosphere, friendly server but the food quality was poor. I was disappointed in a traditional but simple dish of spaghetti and meatballs. I was in the mood for comfort food
Italian style. I also ordered a Caesar salad but that too was disappointing.
It's a great location, great atmosphere now all they need is some talent in the kitchen.

Delicious old-world style Italian food right in Forest Hill. Everything we had was perfectly prepared. Large portions. The dining room was a bit loud and crowded, but the service was good and the food was excellent.

Enotria is one of our favorite restaurants. They offer high quality Italian food and great service. We love the atmosphere. Great for families or a night out with your spouse. We love supporting local businesses and Enotria makes it easy. Their soups are delicious. They make them in house. When we first moved to Forest Hill we tried it out one night and the waitress gave us a complimentary tiramisu as a welcome gesture.
